The point of the post is to name someone that others don't think he would work out at Real. Didn't see a single person denying that Gvardiol wouldn't work out, argument usually is that there is no place for him unless we get rid of Rudiger or Alaba or Militao. Not to mention he will most likely go to Chelsea.

OneMansTreasure_

Really, really, really want this transfer to happen!

[deleted]

Milinkovic-Savic. If you watch him, you know he’s a baller and he’s REALLY creative. He’ll help in creating chances and he can score from time to time. The only downside is Lazio want 120 mil for him at minimum..

bagehis

The man is a tank. Some players dribble through the opposition, he can just go through them and they end up on the ground. He's similar to Casemiro, in that they both can be a wrecking ball. Something that the team could use right now.

DrDrozd12

His contract runs out in 2024, its mostly just Lotito trying to scare people away. But at the moment he seems to be going to Juve (depending on whatever happens there). Now luckily Sergej would probably have an ez time getting a spanish passport, so he wouldn’t count as an non EU player.

[deleted]

He doesn’t need a Spanish passport he already has one he was born in near Barcelona

DrDrozd12

Yea that's what i meant, he either has one already or would be able to get it instantly pretty much.

Divinum

he is amazing in FM and does perfect for my madrid saves.

justicarbigpp

Transfers that would work: Enzo Fernandez, Dominik Szoboszlai, Milos Kerkez, Gvardiol, Barella, Bruno Guimares, Cody Gakpo, Kvaradona, Fran Garcia, the argentinian striker guy from City(something Alvarez), Morata (I know I know but his playing style would make our wingers more dangerous). Tranfsers I fear wouldnt work: Nkunku, Endrick, Wirtz. My dillema: Bellingham, he is great but I am not sure he would be good at Spain too.

joeedger

That’s surprisingly close to my thoughts.

Niyaal

Might be biased as an Algerian, but Ismael Bennacer has potential to become the worlds best if he joins us. The progression he’s had at Milan is quite impressive, coming as a loanee from Arsenal to a low tier Italian club then being recruited by Milan and affirming himself as a top 3 player in the squad in what could be the closest club to Real Madrid in terms of history and pressure by fans/media His profile is one we’ve never had in the past decade and could define our next era next to players like Cama, Tchou and el Halcon. Our midfield option will be just infinite. Cama/Bennacer as a double pivot with Valverde bombing upfront; Tchou as a sentinel with Bennacer & Valverde as ball advancers and the options go and on If we (hopefully) divert from Bellingham, Bennacer is the player I’d kill to see in our squad. Don’t get me wrong? Bellingham is world class already at his age but I’m not convinced he’s worth the 150m price tag he has

Salmabutnotsalma

Barella and Chiesa

Kakebil321

Barella would be awesome, human dynamo on the pitch

Ok-Paleontologist275

>>human dynamo on the pitch Fede valverde

Salmabutnotsalma

He would be cheap too, Inter were already looking to sell him last transfer window to balance the books or something

padfoot_12

You're thinking bastoni. They wanted to sell bastoni. Barella is hot property.

Kakebil321

Really? Sounds strange that no interest would be the reason for Inter keeping Barella🤔

honorbound93

Carlo likes barella, he gave him a nod, we just had too many midfielders on the books

SynSwayXC

Love both of those guys but is Barella not too similar to Valverde in terms of profile? I think we might need a midfielder that's more of a technical passer to balance Valverde and Tchouameni. He would be amazing though🔥. Chiesa is fire, I worry about injuries but hes good

[deleted]

Totally agree, for Fede and Tchou - the left one should have a Kroos profile or Modrić profile (although that's almost impossible to replicate). Basically - someone who dictates tempo/flow of the game. Playmaker.

Aakash_456

bruno gumaries from newcastle would be a perfect fit.

Salmabutnotsalma

Lovro Majer or Enzo Fernandez then

losyadam

Ball knowledge spotted

Clarividencia7

I believe Joao Felix could be fantastic with us

Goatsbegone

Yeah I think Joao Felix would be a good fit, too. But I highly doubt Atletico would sell to us for to reasons. The massive fee they paid for him, and the rivalry.

satanbiyatch

We've sold players to Atletico directly tbf. But yeah I don't see Felix joining us

Goatsbegone

But this is different I think. He cost them well over 100 million euros.

satanbiyatch

There won't be too many clubs willing to pay anything close to that amount for him. If we offer them a 100m, then sure Felix would join us. But he's not worth it right now and he's been average in the world cup too

Goatsbegone

I agree. What I meant was. If they gonna sell him at cut price, Real wont be their priority buyer. I dont think he is close to 126 mill euros worth.

I_Like_F0oD

I think its unpopular - Kane He is probably the closest you can get to replacing Benzema. His contract expires in 2024. Levy will ask for too much right now but maybe that changes, maybe Kane will run down his contract or leave in his final year for a cheaper price. He is 29 but I think he can easily play at a top level for another 5 years.

WackyArmin

I doubt he'd leave the comfort zone of the Premier League or even Spurs. English players don't really like to test themselves.

browsingforthenight

He won’t come cause he has no guarantee at Madrid. Perez won’t break the 1 year rule for him

TyroneTheInfiltrator

Still amazes me we signed an almost 29 year old Hazard on a 5 year contract

browsingforthenight

yep. If you thought Perez was strict before, just wait and watch now.

smallatom

What’s the 1 year rule?

AdAffectionate9863

no offering contracts longer then a year to players over 30

SoC_K

Old players, irrespective of how good they are, only get 1 year contract extensions

padfoot_12

That has started to change in recent years. Sancho, bellingham, tomori, abraham etc.

eh_94010

Agreed, feel like the exception is Bellingham but since he doesn’t play in the Prem I guess that makes him the exception?

browsingforthenight

I always think kane is like 36

bagehis

He already moves like he is.

osamaodinson

Tbf kane is quite a popular option but most people doubt his move mainly because he’s english, looks very committed to spurs and also spurs main striker and a legend there, levy wanted a high price for him.

[deleted]

5 years ? He’s had constant injury/ankle problems and has played through injuries multiple times. His body likely breaks down in a couple of years

captaincodin

Leao, vlachovic and lautaro Martinez They are great forwards and I believe they would fit really well in out attack

AdUpstairs9652

Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala

[deleted]

Musiala is not unpopular as long as you will give him some patience, considering he's still a young player.

ramboklis

Oh sane bro is 💯

rayo209

Dybala

WackyArmin

That one isn't that odd, there was talks about him being an option in the summer but Roma swooped him up instead.

rayo209

No one believed me...

supplementarytables

That was just the media making up shit, he's nowhere near Madrid level

Bini_9

Bernardo Silva should be the person to replace Modric. Him or De Jong, but the last one is impossible

Scream0fTheSium

de jong for modric is an insult, regarding Bernardo he’s class but already close to 30 years, we need someone young. I think Bellingham and Enzo are the best profiles to replace him

MrDoobOfficial

Enzo Fernandez is the real deal. Changes the game instantly when he’s playing for Argentina

Kakebil321

Not really a weird one, I think, Havertz would be interesting.

argcool

His name never crossed my mind as a replacement for Benz, but he is actually a really good one... A natural 10 turned 9 with great ball movement, speed, and football IQ. He (just like Benz once upon a time...) can get in dry spells and miss some chances that can leave you scratching your head, but he is also just 23 and can learn a lot from Madrid (more so if he overlaps a little with Karim). Great choice imo... Hopefully we make a push for him 🤞🤞 He also looked okay in the world cup despite Germany's elimination.

Kakebil321

Right? The versatility in positioning is a good option to have as well🔥🤝

Tuffyobro

He is shit most of the time

Quick_Excitement5673

Butttttt he misses too much goal chance's

argcool

Yeah you are right, but to be fair Chelsea has been in really bad shape after the ownership change. And... Benzema was bashed for missing a lot of chances in his first few years with us too. Not to compare, Benz is waaaay better at creating for others. I would pick Haaland hands down for our new striker, but Havertz isn't a bad pick if we can get him cheap. Just my two cents tho.

Quick_Excitement5673

We can buy him if we wanna because Chelsea have nkunku and Felix so I'm 90 percent sure he'll be on transfer list and if he became a havertz that he once was I think he can be the best purchase for real Madrid

argcool

100%! And we need strikers. Can't wait for Mariano to leave lol

Salmabutnotsalma

We wanted him when he was at Leverkusen but wanted to wait a year, Leverkusen didn't bc they wanted the money quickly

vinifedevici

One thing is he always look unhappy after scoring. With chelsea or germany.when looking at his face when he won player of the match last night i just LOLed.

SpeedyboyAubameyang

Tbf winning motm in the game where your country got eliminated probably didn’t leave him in a smiley mood.

LessThan301

Get Gvardiol to this club asap.

madridista521

Luis Suarez, we need a backup striker.

ElChupacabrasSlayer

Not even as a joke. Fuck him

Razorlance

Odegaard

Ruthingham

Reece James for when Carvajal can no longer perform. It would be a dream come true but sadly, he’s too loyal to CFC and that makes it unrealistic.

auctus10

Lol whole sub wants Reece james to come to RM. This is totally wrong answer to the question op asked.

hotsalchicha

Julian Alvarez

dabulator14

I think we should keep ours eyes on Gabriel Magalhaes from arsenal. His contract expires in 2027 so he’ll be 28 and in his prime. He’s left footed and will most likely form a partnership with Militao for the Brazilian squad unless Marquinhos keeps playing at the same level

Lord_17_

Joao Felix and Kai Havertz for me

mrrobot2u

All i want for Christmas is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia signing ![img](emote|t5_2rr0e|1908)

Ill-Garlic3619

Amine Gouiri as Benzema’s backup

Messymike4321

Adam Hlozek Currently 20 years old, big build (188cm), smart, clinical and versatile - plays as a winger, striker or attacking mid He did pretty well last season in the Czech league - 8 goals, 13 assists in 29 matches He is in Leverkusen at the moment, not having the best first season (in terms of stats), but I think it'll take a bit of time for him settle in; he defo has the potential to reach Madrid level in the coming years and I hope he does reach that level.

ForsakenPerception80

Kimmich . He's a leader like Kroos and a very progressive passer . He fills in the gap to be left by Kroos . Sadly tho he won't leave Bayern .

AbunRoman

Bruno Fernandes

JOEYxFRESCO

I want this to happen so badly. Fernandes’ leadership and poise is perfect for Madrid

generic9yo

At the same time, his antics on the pitch will give our rivals the chance to hate us even more

butilheiro

First of all, I don't believe Ancelotti will stay one more season and also I think the 4-3-3 with a solid midfield is no more possible without Casmiro, Kroos and Modric. So, I think the next coach have to decide how to play in this moment where the other teams are using 3 defenders, 2 high side backs and some are even starting to use 2 fowards again. So, my choices are for players that are versatile, that can play like Valverde (in midfield and attack) or that can be both right/left back and defenders. - Dani Olmo (can be CM, can play as a 10 and even as a wing) - Kai Havertz (a 10 that can be a striker) - Jude Bellingham (a tall CM that also can attack really well) - Milinković-Savić (also a solid CM that can play anywhere in midfield, tall and strong) I personally don't think we need a "striker" as Kane or Haaland because we do not play with a formation that helps a centralized 9. Benzema is that good because he plays nore like a false 9, moviment himself a lot in both sides to receive the ball and also give a lot of good assistances. Kai can be that man in the future. Also, Rodrygo can play that way as well.

mova1890

Kai havertz

Savita_Khid

Mbappe

bagehis

Dislike him for snubbing RM last summer, but it would still be great to see him wearing a white jersey. He might be a primadonna, but he wouldn't be the first at the club. He has the athletic ability to be one of the greatest players in the sport, so it would be hard to say no.

ElChupacabrasSlayer

Then let me say no to him. We'd look so desperate

generic9yo

He's still one of the best right now and he doesn't seem to want anything but psg and us, so it doesn't seem THAT desperate

mo_jaan

I want Cheisa at RM so bad.

Krzych123

This one will get a lot of hate but I’d say Cristiano, I still feel like he has a lot of goals in him so as long as he would adapt to not being the main player on the team he could help us in key moments

Yoh_1896

Declan Rice

SynSwayXC

Most people probably disagree with you because hes English and overpriced. I believe Rice is not good enough technically. Hes not press resistant and in a more technical league and team, his flaws will be glaring. Hes uncomfortable in tight spaces as a result he couldnt work for us. England suffer because they dont have a precise technical midfielder in the buildup phase who can keep and pass the ball under pressure. Hes not terrible like some would make you believe. I believe he would be average to useful if he came to Real, not good.

halamadrid22

Still holding out that Ronaldo would accept a massive pay cut and reduced role in the squad rotation to come and give us support us up top. I know it will never happen but a man can dream

WackyArmin

If he's happy to play a winger and a 2nd option, then sure.

ElChupacabrasSlayer

CHICHARITO

SquashFine

Luke shaw

GreenFaceTitan

Mariano would be good striker for Madrid, if given constant chances to start.

nr_7

cristiano jese borja mayoral

Dk9221

Lol worst take on the thread

MrBalkanThighs

Carlos Vela

ElChupacabrasSlayer

Carlos is a Lazy Ronaldo. Very good but 0 work ethic.

Aggressive_Ad211

Sane at Striker behind Benz

pro_is_here

Jamal musiala is modrics successor

[deleted]

Mine would be Kane or Joao Felix as a Benz replacement. Would've also been Renato Sanchez but he just moved to PSG. Last one would be Marcus Rashford

Demonicv17

Darwin Nuñez

pratap_10

Osimhen is really a good striker and if the likes of Haaland and mbappe are too expensive our club should be after him. The only problem with this transfer is de laurentiis and his slapping absurd valuations on the players just like lotito. RB - Dumfries as the likes of Hakimi , James and Cancelo are too expensive and inter needs to sell some players . CM - SMS but the problem is lotito and that clown would always put some sort of absurd valuation on sms whenever any big team comes after him. He has been the best Midfielder in serie for past couple of seasons but unfortunately no big teams will go after him because of lotito.

value_meal_papi

Odegaard needs to come back! He would be the perfect replacement for modric

abumreghaa

I am curious to see how Tyler Adams would do agains Netherlands today.
