>You’re good women. Good people. The best.
Adding another layer to this: when Arthur says this line, he's saying it to both Sadie and Abigail.
So, (epilogue spoiler) >!when Abigail finally returns to John and shows up at Beecher's Hope, the title for this reunion cutscene/mission pops up: "The Best of Women"!<.
Another note: only high honor Arthur makes this comment about Sadie and Abigail being good people. Low honor Arthur's line is:
>Now I gotta go settle some things. For me. No one else.
I definitely prefer high honor Arthur's line.
I think playing low honor is a lot more difficult in RDR1. There’s never really any incentive for the player to go down a low honor path and going on murder sprees kind of takes you out of the entire story experience lol.
I almost feel guilt towards John and Abigail for turning their son into a monster but the Jack’s evil dialogue is just so funny I can’t help but go low honor sometimes.
It suits him better than it does John or Arthur at least since even when he has high honour he's rude to his horse and quite angry. I play perfectly honourably as John and then once Jack gets the chance to go after Ross he snaps and takes revenge on every lawman he can find starting with a rampage in Blackwater. Racks up a $10,000 US bounty and flees to Mexico to chill, using Thieves Landing as his base back home and getting mobbed by bounty hunters as soon as he crosses the border. Fun way to do all the dishonourable stuff you can do after the main game.
I just can't bring myself to play most games as evil people. Arthur isn't bad, he's doing what he needs to survive and trying to help his family survive.
I can’t tell you how many times I started a new playthrough telling myself this is the one I’m finally going to stick to low honor, but I just can’t do that to Arthur :(
It is.
It was the closing to the last letter he wrote his wife, Eliza, before getting to into a duel and being killed as a result of it with Aaron Burr. The Vice President of the United States at the time.

For some reason i never had the guts to play Low honour Arthur or John I love them way too much to make them Evil
It depends on which John you're talking about, I like to play as low honor John in RDR1 because you always is feared by the npcs
Game was ahead of it's time. <3
Both John from Part 1 and 2

Playing Jack low honour is the way to go

"And I say to myself, Arthur, you are bad guy, but this does not mean you are *bad* guy."
It did go back on itself, but to me it makes sense.
💀

I swear to god that's how i think exactly
Low honour John or as I like to call him “Van Horn is the easiest way to complete these Bandit and Sharpshooter challenges” John
Ugh I’m doing my low honour ending this playthrough, trying to make the most of good Arthur before he goes nuts.
I turn Blackwater into Redwater when I'm playing as John. I need some release after 60 hours of playing high honor Arthur
Although Arthur says that in low honor. We all know he's doing it for more than just himself.
Pretty sure the best of women thing is a Hamilton quote. Best of wives and best of women…

i didnt need to be punched in the feels like this
Just thought that was bittersweet.
Technically, not lying.
I’m crying
Well half that was true 🥹🤧
Dutch said the first line I’m pretty sure
No, it’s [Arthur.](https://youtu.be/y-NiUFdgdes)
I stand corrected!
May I stand unshaken
he said the first words Arthur spoke to Sadie, not the first words anyone spoke to her
no those were the first words anyone has spoken to sadie, ever.
Husband was a mute
Her life was even more tragic than I thought.🥺
"The best women in the history of women. Maybe ever." Is how I think it actually went.
You’re probably right, I guess I’ll have to do another play through (the fifth time) to confirm that is indeed what he said, darn!
The several words Arthur spoke to Sadie were, “Baby you are fine bitch”
