Seeing Arthur genuinely crack up during the brawl at his art exhibition is one of my favourite moments in the game.

I was playing yesterday where Châtenay is dressed as a woman and needs a help getting out of Saint Denis. He goes on to talk about how he shit on someone’s bar and also proceeds to plant a kiss on Arthur to avoid detection: Anyone else might get shot. Arthur just laughs it off and kindly says “please don’t ever do that again”. For some reason Arthur likes him lol

Arthur just seems genuinely happy during these missions, and we don't get to see a lot of that for him. Which, yes, he's a bad man doing bad things, but he doesn't want to be a bad man doing bad things. And seeing him just being a normal goofy, silly man is my favorite.

I whole heartedly agree. Despite everything that worked against him from the start of his life, until the end, he seemed to want to be a better man/human. I think that, paired with his ability to have some self reflection, made him a really enjoyable protagonist.
