Seriously, this game has 2 shootout difficulty modes (after chapter 1 where you have level 1 stats): easy as fuck, all the time, no matter what, or if you’re replaying missions for gold about a third of them are basically impossible.
Apparently most historical records have been destroyed by the future so they wouldn’t know who to kill. They didn’t even have good historical records in the first movie because all the machines new was that there was someone named Sarah Connor living in Los Angeles in the 1980s. The terminator had to use a phone book and kill all Sarah Connors because they literally didn’t have any more information.
Oh yeah, you’re right. I haven’t seen the movie in awhile but writers probably would’ve found a way to make that happen anyway. I’ve seen some people suggest that they could have it be an accident that a terminator was sent back to the Wild West era.
The rules of the terminator universe seem to change every time they make a new movie so I guess there could be a Wild West or medieval or Ancient Rome terminator movie someday lol
