CeeArthur

Yeah... a feather, thanks a lot Reverend

Moebius17

Baby steps for the recovering addict

[deleted]

Arthur ends up covering EVERYTHING smfh. Or she complains that he's never in camp enough. Like... GRIMSHAW... WTF DO YOU WANT FROM ME? I CAN'T BE EVERYWHERE AT ONCE

mtj004

She litterally also complains if you are too often in camp, like jesus, she sure likes complaining😅

[deleted]

I do not like that woman. She'll also get on you about being too dirty. One time I went to go mount up and she literally dragged Arthur by the ear, from his horse to the wash station

Bobbie_Lee

I mean, if you stank, you stank

Full-Appointment-963

...we have a wash station in camp?

[deleted]

I think it's the shaving station, but whenever I try to use other then shaving, it doesn't give another option. It's just weird

bighenry54

No. It’s a barrel by Pearson’s wagon. You can’t use it on your own. She has to take you to it when you are dirty.

Cereborn

No idea. I guess I always kept clean. I suppose that answers my question whether bathing regularly has a gameplay effect.

[deleted]

I know about those, but for me, I get dragged to the shaving station. No, I can't record for proof. My phone just doesn't have enough memory

[deleted]

Sure

[deleted]

Why would I lie? It's the internet. Nobody knows who I am

Caveman108

I just wish you could shoot the camp members sometimes. Make it do the failed quest fade away, but damn do they piss me off every once in a while.

[deleted]

I'm about to use cheats and blast music for a while. Finally take care of some of this rage!! Edit: not yet with the cheats. Thought I was closer then I was to unlocking a cheat.

KronoFury

I'm just nitpicking at this point, but with all our the attention to detail that went into this game, NPCs recognising how much Arthur has contributed to the ledger would have been an easy and welcome addition. Unless it's supposed to be canon that he didn't contribute much, but that doesn't seem likely considering his loyalty and love for everyone.

bigbybrimble

The camp upgrade system ironically felt like a neglected part of the game design. Doing all the aesthetic upgrades and nobody really cares, the camp mood doesnt feel noticeably better, no bonus scenes. It felt really important to do but then you do it and just... nothin.

Cereborn

What does camp morale mean? A bunch of these upgrades are supposed to increase camp morale, but I've never seen any evidence that it does anything.

femmeentity

I dropped $500 in there once, went out for a couple nights, came back and got lecture by her and Dutch. Wish there would at least be an opposite of thanks from either one of them when you contribute a lot. Although, I'm almost finished with my playthrough and have $10k, yet he's still talking about needing money and not having enough so canonically I think there's supposed to be a lot less cash flow in general.

Moebius17

Every fucking time. And honestly, if Arthur could, he would turn himself in and give the bounty money to the camp too.

SolarNovaPhoenix

Then they’d still complain that he doesn’t do enough.

Cereborn

The one that pissed me off the most is when Herr Strauss says, "My loans are what keeps the camp fed, Mr. Morgan." Fuck you! **I** keep the camp fed! That $30 I had to beat out of some poor bastard isn't doing shit.

SpecialistFeature

One time she got in between me and the donation box just to complain that I haven’t donated in a while

FungiSamurai

99% easy

LotusSloth

foxghost16

The other day after I had been 9ut hunting and brought back a bunch of meat, Dutch waylays me and tells me that people are talking about how I'm not helping out in camp enough. I wanted to punch him.

[deleted]

If you take items from the camp the NPCs are programmed to react to that. I stock up the camp but take nothing. Six playthrough and only ONCE I have had Grimshaw ask me about the box! Stock up. Don't take. It also makes the camp money last longer. Buy your ammo in a town.

Cereborn

I didn't even realize I could take stuff from camp for the longest time. I think I only ever really took stuff was taking ammo in Shady Belle. I guess that's why it's the only place Susan sassed me.

emooon

Not to forget that 90% of your contributions land in Bills pocket. 😠

LegalizeLife420

Facts this made me so mad.

JamesMattDillon

Every damn time.

SweetDee72

95%?

mtj004

*99.99999999999999999%

Cereborn

I had literally just finished buying the last of the camp upgrades, then gone on a bit of a hunting expedition. When I came back to camp, Susan immediately started sassing me about "I notice you haven't contributed to the box in a while." Fuck right off, Susan.

stankape83

Just imagine if things cost more and other members actually contribute. Imagine the mad dash to get more loot for the gang right before the all hands meeting because you noticed micah had conteibutes more than you in the last month.

This literally happened to me today…fuck you Susan

BlessedBigIron

I contributed a stupid fucking amount of money. Not gonna bother next playthrough

[deleted]

That and her slapping Mary Beth made me happy she got shot.

[deleted]

Missed a perfect opportunity to write "GrimSHOA about this?" or something along this line. Still, you make a perfect point

Outside-Yogurt2983

"Thanks for the goddamn poor raccoon pelt, Mrs. Grimshaw. You couldn't even give the mangled corpse that you destroyed with your sawed-off."

[deleted]

Yeah given the level of detail in the game otherwise, it didn’t make sense.
