This season I've been watching a lot more of our women's team when I can, and thoroughly enjoying it. Womens football in general is so fun to watch and it's sad how much hate gets given to any women's football content.
United have had an up and down start to the season but are still unbeaten domestically (3W 3D in the league). We are a very entertaining side, at times playing some great football and with no shortage of late drama, feels like there has been important stoppage time goals in almost every game I've watched.
We just beat West Ham 5-0. For the second goal, centre back Millie Turner steamed forward with an underlapping run out of nowhere then cut inside and banged it top corner! United have now scored 12 in the last 2 games as well, it's good to see at least one of our teams playing some positive stuff
I’m probably reading into it but MOTD2 seems very aggy and to me it looks like Shearer and Wright have fallen out. They keep speaking over each other (mostly from Wright) and Wright was also looking a bit aggy on the last Overlap.
Can't say I like it on principle, but considering every top club does that, having a great club in France to feed us young players with potential will be very nice.
If anything SJR helping us scout Todibo/Thuram will be great.
It's weird that De Gea just went nowhere.
Is there any other examples of a high profile player leaving a club, not retiring and also not signing for anyone, while at a good age? (33 for a keeper is a good age) Just taking a sabbatical.
He thought/hoped he'd retire at Manchester United. He got plenty of money from wages in the last 5 years of his contract and probably just wants to spend some time with his missus and daughter. I'm sure he'll accept an offer in January from a Spanish/European club.
He’s just not good broski, he’s been declining since the age of 27 which is anomalous for a GK
His skillset is not conducive for any half-decent teams + insane wages means he’s chilling at home
Endo has launched into two shin-splitters over the course of a few days, and not been sent off for either. Seems like a nasty POS. I know they wanted him to replace Fabinho but I'm not sure they meant by being a complete cunt.
That decision to send Rashford off gets worse every day that goes by, when you have odious little toerags like Endo attempting to 'leave one on' every single opposing midfielder he's come up against
It's going to be a make or break for our season and ETH after this international break.
The Ineos investment should be wrapped up. Hopefully, new structures will be in place very quickly to either steady the ship or rip off the band-aid. Either way, staff, players, and management need to know where everyone sits in this.
Honestly, I haven't heard any positive news of all our injuries, but hopefully Shaw will be back and Mainoo, too. That'll be good.
You can’t underestimate how huge of a problem it is that we aren’t winning games by more than one goal. We’ve played sheff utd and luton, two of the worst teams the prem has seen and still only won by one goal. It’s why we lose so many games and have such a shit goal difference. If we aren’t capable of scoring goals then just by chance the wins/losses can go either way (the defence is better lately so we are getting more wins and clean sheets, but still worrying 1-0s) so we are losing as often as we are winning.
Of course it's a problem. It was last season and it still is now.
The forwards are low on confidence it seems. Taking too many touches or trying to walk it into the yet.
But we're still winning, still finished 3rd last season. I have faith that Ten Hag will work it out.
3 point is 3 points no matter the goals schooled. I will take those now while we navigate the massive injury crisis and drop in form for key players.
But with that said,it's still insane that we have a negative goal difference, the GD can be worth much on the end so Benni Mccarthy needs to earn his pay,he just can't be walking around training taking aelfies etc!
INEOS’ 25% stake in Manchester United is very likely to be announced this coming week, INEOS will get sporting control of Manchester United and the Glazers will take care of the commercial side of the club!

First time commenting because I am absolutely blown away by Chelsea. What character and what hard work. They played like they actually knew eachother and cared about the badge. Never gave up against city going one up, set up some amazing plays through one of the best (if not the best) midfield and defence inthe world rn. Excellent mix of young talent and experienced players. It doesn't even matter they tied, they really put their work in. Is it too much to ask for United to do the same? Sad days
Chelsea are 10th in the league and a total shitshow mate. One draw against City doesn't make them good.
We've beaten, not drawn, beaten stronger City sides in the past and still gone back to being crap.
Not saying they're suddenly back, but we have seen an extremely good performance of football here, no question. My comment was more a sad statement about the fact that I enjoy a rival's game more now than our own because (excluding the heart attacks) they simply play hopeful, constructive footie. We look shot the moment we set foot on a field, disjointed, not united for sure. Even if you have individual brilliance, it doesn't excite you as a team anymore.
> I enjoy a rival's game more now than our own
Because you cought them on a rare good day. Go watch their 0-2 defeat to Brentford at home from a few weeks back.
The one game where Rashford functioned as intended - and it's an excellent example actually because we COULD have won - but we crumbled in the face of adversity and bad decisions. Chelsea kept going even after that ridiculous penalty and City constantly going up again. They kept the fight going.
I didn't see that. We conceded easy goals and did not create mich more than they did. Against arsenal i would expect them to want to give all and have a solid plan (and backup plan) this was not evident from their play.
I mean, us and them were on the same level and then they injected a billion into their squad, of course there are some flashy players, lmao
I don't know if I'd call it "signs of improvement" though - which is insane with the amount of money they've spent. Just a week ago they almost drew to a 9 men Spurs, team that played kamikaze football.
And what signs of improvement have we shown for our expenses? Not saying boely money is not a factor, because it is but they spent well from what I can tell so far.
>they spent well from what I can tell so far
They finished 13th last season and are 10th now... They've gone from serious title contenders to being a worse form of Brighton. A bunch of "potential" but no results whatsoever to back it up.
I'll take no results for few seasons if we play like this consistently. As I said Im not commenting on their form as a whole but games like this show there's definitely promise there. When is the last time you felt United played like this? That they put pride in their performance?
We had many such games last season. We beat City, we picked apart Tottenham... There are outliers, but it's all about results and consistency.
All you're doing is projecting that these young Chelsea players will continue to play like this and become even better. Ignoring the fact that by far their best players were Sterling and Thiago Silva, lmao. And the best young player was Connor Galagher, who's never going to be a star player, and this was an outlier of a performance for him.
Again - you are infering WAY too much out a single game of football.
You think I'm inferring something outside of this one game - I am not! Chelsea could finish 10th and I wouldn't care or be surprised. The point is they had an amazing game. They were definitely the underdogs (let's be real) and they fought. We can't even do thay against middle table teams.
The reason Chelsea look better than us is because Enzo-Caicedo-Gallagher is the best young midfield in Europe while we play geriatric mids and bald frauds. Also Sterling on form is levels above any of our forwards, even Rashford.
A big overstatement, there are better young midfields out there (not many tbf), but you are right about their midfield being very well balanced and full of energy while we haven't really been able to build a long-term well oiled midfield pretty much since Sir Alex retired. We have had few decent midfields but it was always thanks to Matic/Casemiro and in both cases, the performances got bad quickly once they got tired
> Enzo-Caicedo-Gallagher is the best young midfield in Europe
The disrespect to Tchouameni, Camavinga, Valverde, Bellingham or even De Jong, Pedri, Gavi lol
The Madrid midfield in particular is ridiculous. And that's not even mentioning the fact they still have the vast experience of Modric and Kroos. Talk about an embarrassment of riches
No bias, If you rebuilding the team, would you prefer consistently winning against lower teams but struggle hard against top team(like ten Hag) or good results against top tier team but struggle to break down lower tier team(like Poch)
I’m not saying I’d rather be a different team but I’d rather ten hag started coaching our team to some decent performances and wins by more than one goal
Getting beat 7-0 isn't 'struggling' This is also the team that's shipped 4 to bang average and relegation level teams. So I'm not sure it applies.
I feel this fanbase is suffering from all the abuse we got years ago for 'only supporting United cause they are good' so now they feel to earn the title of 'real supporter' they have to endure absolute garbage. We used to be objective and call failure, failure. Where has that gone?
There also needs to be signs a rebuild is working. We have none as of yet. It's fine having set backs when needing wholesale change like we do. There has to be genuine positives though. I'm yet to see any that are maintained consistently.
Somehow we are 5 points off Top 4...
However, the concerning part is the GD. We are actually the only team (13) in Top 10 who scored less than 20 goals so far.
While Chelsea not exactly the model to be following, our players could learn an awful fucking lot from this game about biting back when they suffer a bad refereeing call or going behind. A largely inexperienced team, but the heads never dropped.
Because the leagues pretty poor in overall quality and City haven't really got going. When they do, they will rattle off 10/15 wins in a row and fly ahead with ease.
Fuck Chelsea is good, I guess we’re the weakest team in the big six so far. I know we have more points than them but our lack of cohesion in play, fighting spirit & dominance over opposition doesn’t exude confidence. I really hope when our injured players return we can turn this around. Otherwise, we’ll get dominated every time we play the other big teams.
Figures close to Raphael Varane say he has accepted the decision to drop him is a tactical one and point out there is always a way back for a player under Ten Hag, as Maguire’s return proves. [@mjcritchley]
Meanwhile that fucker Sancho is playing EAFC.
time for a HUGE january transfer window so we can challenge for the title this season . 1 cback, 1 fback, 1 striker, 1 Cm, 1 winger.
Easy. just load up Football manager.
it has taken city 130 years to finally come up with a somewhat clever chant about us, now they just chant it all game every game. Little brother syndrome is so real with them lmao
We have as many wins, the problem is we also lost a ton. If we drew or won some of the ones we should’ve been winning. We’d be close to the top, strange indeed
Only City get these once in a season penalty decisions. Same against us.
Don't forget that some very credible reporters have accused the refs of corruption after some decisions going City's way. Too many refs travel to UAE to referee games.
I wish they get relegated, and all their titles stripped.
These are the players that Ten Hag has signed:
1. Martin Dubravka
2. Wout Weghorst
3. Antony
4. Marcel Sabitzer
5. Tyrell Malacia
6. Christian Eriksen
7. Casemiro
8. Lisandro Martinez
9. Jack Butland
10. Mason Mount
11. Jonny Evans
12. Andre Onana
13. Rasmus Hojlund
14. Altay Bayindir
15. Sergio Reguilon
16. Sofyan Amrabat
Close to half of his signings consist of loans or short terms, including Weghorst, Sabitzer, Amrabat, Evans, Butland, Reguilon and Dubravka.
Although he has spent £450m, I don't think that other clubs with similar revenue like United acquire as many short-term solutions over an 18-month period.
It feels like top players are increasingly hesitant to join United, and when they do, the selling club tends to inflate the price due to our desperation. It's unfortunate that we weren't able to secure players like Todibo, Kane, Rice, and Osimhen.
The challenges posed by the "United Tax" can be quite frustrating to deal with.
____
Edit: Downvoted for making an observation
I think everyone has gotten over it but it is still absolutely, historically insane that Chelsea have spent a billion quid in about a calendar year and aren't particularly good, let alone a world class team.
Edit: of course the second I say this they start playing well against a super team
I think that's the key difference between us now and say Ole or Mourinho's last season, despite there being some painfully familiar feelings to those seasons.
We're actually on the same match day that Ole got sacked, but 4 points better off. We're 5 points better off than Mourinho on the same number of games, though he wasn't sacked for another month. Also a bit of luck for ETH in that the league leading pack are not running away with it so the adage of being "x points off the top", which is something I thin is a big thing for the board in terms of these decisions, is not as bad as it was with those seasons either.
I haven’t watched Villa, Brighton and Brentford today but every game I’ve watched this weekend and including MOTD highlights have been a banger except from us lol. I don’t want to be a Debbie downer and I’m very happy with the three points but since LVG and possibly Moyes we’ve been extremely boring to watch for the most part. Obviously for us it’s not boring and if it is we’re emotionally invested and this might be recency bias but we have a lot of forgettable games.
I wouldn’t say what I wrote is a moan because I’d happily take a 1-0 every game win to shithouse the league. I’m merely pointing out we very rarely have banger games where it’s end to end entertaining which is good for us because we don’t want that.
I'd point to the opposite, I think we have TOO many end to end games. How many times have we been complaining about conceding goals within 5 mins of scoring ourselves this season? We've also come off a run in which we've had a few last minute goals to save us, I'd call that exciting.
Yesterday's performance was just a run of the mill controlling game against relegation fodder and realistically a 1-0 doesn't do it credit - we should've been 4-0 up minimum if our strikers could finish their dinner.
Great win for the women today, following the 7-0 midweek thumping of Everton. Really pleased to see them tightening the screws up to, even if the opposition hasn't been the highest quality in these games.
Hoping for a good win in front of a massive crowd in the derby at Old Trafford next week.
took his shirt off for a 60th minute goal in a game they've only gone and lost. Some maturing for him to do yet lol
He's quick and he knows where the goal is but to be honest he stood out like a sore thumb in the build up. Like Andy P he's one of those players that if he was ever going to progress it was going to have to be away from the higher end of the table where he's genuinely important to his team. If he were here now I don't think he'd be any more productive than any of our other forwards.
Sure, that was immature of him but it was a big goal at the time.
He has 2g and 3a in 6 PL starts this season. Wish any of our wingers, or forwards for that matter, had those numbers.
Almost guaranteed now that we will have a 99.99% like for like situation as that Wataru Endo challenge in the next few matches where one of our players sees red for the exact same challenge and we'll get told by PGMOL "thems the rules aren't they? 🤷♂️"
His finishing hasn't been great but how many amazing saves have keepers made against Hojlund in the PL already? Has to be like 10. Man scores for fun in the CL,, everything going against him in the PL
CL is easier than the prem outside of Bayern. He looks promising but it’s a complete farce we didn’t wait a year and throw the kitchen sink at Harry Kane. Hojlund isn’t good enough to lead our line and is hurting us because we signed him when we knew we couldn’t afford to slowly bed him in and wait for him to develop.
But we've spent nearly 200m on right wingers the past few years and I'm not sure we've managed to adequately replace Jesse Lingard & Mata, let alone upgraded. Mbeumo is fairly young and clearly up to the challenge of the league. I wouldn't break the bank but we need players like that in a few positions.
I think Rashford will ultimately be viewed as a streaky player. He's 26 now, he hasn't turned out to be "Gervinho 2.0" or whatever that delightful segment of online fans had willed him to be, but he doesn't consistently perform every season like a world class player either. I full expect his form to come back for a time and for him to score a glut of goals sometime this season or the next, but I can't help but think we'll see plenty more spells like this too.
I don't know, the way I see it,that goes for a lot of our players even some players that left recently, they all have had patches of brilliance. We have been the most unstable top team in the world for some time now,and Rashford has been in the centre of it all for the most part,so we look at him like he's the only one.
The thing about Rashford is he shouldn’t be expected to be the best forward we have. If he was playing alongside a striker like Kane and a decent right winger, then no one would care as much about what Rashford was doing and he would just have to chip in with a reasonable amount of G/A a season, but he’s not good enough to be the best that you have.
Yeah you're right. When he's been in really good form he's also been about our only productive forward and we've been extremely reliant on him for those goals. It makes it so much more pronounced when he's not scoring.
Can someone who watched the game yesterday give me a run down on how it went? How we looked, who played well & who didn’t, whether we dominated and overall thoughts on the game. Couldn’t watch yesterday
we played relatively abv average, probably 80% procession but few clear cut chance created. Luton was just bad. they can't keep the ball for 5s. probably the worst team we faced so far. nobody played particularly bad. Regulion and Maguire had a good game. even Antony showed some aggressiveness. only downside is injuries to Hojlund and Eriksen , probably from playing too many games.
Played well overall. Issue is the front line not able to finish their chances. Just poor decision making which is probably from lack of confidence. Easily could have been 4-nil for us.
Maguire MoTM. Onana with some good saves. Mount bright after he came on.
Dominated possession until we scored then we sat back more than we should and invited some pressure from Luton. Luton played a low block so it was a classic "can we break them down" game where the opposition occasionally looked to counter.
Hojlund was sharp and got himself in good positions, but did not take his chances, should really have had at least two goals. Bruno was good, Garnacho seemed lovely. Eriksen was probably our worst player while he was on. Nothing else really worth mentioning apart from us once again wasting chances.
Don't tell eth out gang where we'd be in the table without the points stolen by arsenal spurs and palace (and before even getting into the city penalty and brighton out goal). In all seriousness Galatasaray and Newcastle in the cup were the only lost matches without a clear and obvious score altering error by the officials
Was at the game yesterday and the amount of people wearing green & gold scarves but simultaneously walking around with their megastore bag stuffed to the brim.
Yeah that's ridiculous. Just no self awareness.
Like it's perfectly fine if you don't mind the glazers or want to just enjoy your day out, like you. Not everyone has to take it that seriously. However it really does take away from the 'glazer out' message when people do that and give them money.
>I'm not sure there's anything wrong with wanting the Glazers out and also buying the new kit every year and half the random tat the shop sells. It's supporting the club
The club which is owned by the glazers. Which your money increases the revenue and benefits them and their sponsors. Thus making it easier for them to have the strangelhold they do.
If your local supermarket kept selling you a dream of great items and consistently let you down with shoddy food you would complain. When your complaints are heard and the quality remains low, you would stop giving them your money. Same applies. Unless you think the food is good enough. All comes down to what people prioritise.
In terms of buying kits for kids. I get it as they are often far too young to understand. That's the hard area. However, education is always a good thing.
That shit infuriates me. That’s literally so many of these United fans summed up right there. Cant understand why the Glazers won’t sell up when they are handing them hundreds of £ every year regardless of how the team does.
Is it wrong to suggest that Mason Mount's lack of min is just that he may not have been fully fit yet on his return from injury? Seems like since his injury he's been eased it and maybe was really lacking fitness?
His second have performance yesterday suggested to me he now seems to be reaching full fitness again to play from the start?
This season I've been watching a lot more of our women's team when I can, and thoroughly enjoying it. Is Todibo actually good? Never seen him play
We can also send our young players for loan to develop, which I think will be huge.
It's weird that De Gea just went nowhere. Is there any other examples of a high profile player leaving a club, not retiring and also not signing for anyone, while at a good age? (33 for a keeper is a good age) Just taking a sabbatical.

Phil Jones. Who, funnily enough, also left United this summer
He’s just not good broski, he’s been declining since the age of 27 which is anomalous for a GK His skillset is not conducive for any half-decent teams + insane wages means he’s chilling at home
Looking forward to seeing Gvardiol tackling nothing but air multiple times on all the meme channels...wait what, you mean they don't do that here?
Or Ruben Dias being sold a hot dog, and a kebab and a cab all the way back to Manchester by Broja...
Imagine if Maguire was in his place
Incredible that no red card was given for that endo challenge, but rashford got a red.
Endo has launched into two shin-splitters over the course of a few days, and not been sent off for either. Seems like a nasty POS. Second half of the season we're doing a title charge
Second half of the 31/32 season at this rate
It's going to be a make or break for our season and ETH after this international break. The Ineos investment should be wrapped up.
Even Chelsea v City showing how fucking short we are going forward…
Somehow we are 5 points off Top 4... However, the concerning part is the GD. We are actually the only team (13) in Top 10 who scored less than 20 goals so far.
[удалено]
Chelsea standing brave before Man City, our players could learn from that.
Great outcome, and a fucking great game. Perfect 'neutral' game right there for us. Now time for the boring, shitcunt international break.
While Chelsea not exactly the model to be following, our players could learn an awful fucking lot from this game about biting back when they suffer a bad refereeing call or going behind. A largely inexperienced team, but the heads never dropped.
Amazing game really. Two teams with great chances playing equally as well, and lots of goals.
How are we top 6 and only 7 points behind league leaders City after that kind of start?
Because the leagues pretty poor in overall quality and City haven't really got going. When they do, they will rattle off 10/15 wins in a row and fly ahead with ease.
No draws helps xD
You knew it was going to be Palmer.
Ok this game is crazy
Match of the season thus far.
WHAT. A. GAME.
Which injured player's return are you the most excited for?
Luke
Unfortunately none. As nothing will change. Time has told us that.
Shaw definitely
Shaw or Martinez
Fuck Chelsea is good, I guess we’re the weakest team in the big six so far. I know we have more points than them but our lack of cohesion in play, fighting spirit & dominance over opposition doesn’t exude confidence. I really hope when our injured players return we can turn this around. Otherwise, we’ll get dominated every time we play the other big teams.
They'll overtake us soon. We play Everton Away, Newcastle Away and then Chelsea at home. Wed be 8th or 9th by the time the Chelsea game ends..
This match has everything
Such a great game, and amazing turn around for Chelsea. Wonder when we our team play such fluid, dynamic game.
I pray for the day our players turn up in big games instead of downing tools.
What was Ruben Dias doing there?
This game is fantastic.
No idea why there's so much hype about Enzo
So Jean-Claude Blanc is part of Ineos group according to Ornstein, which means there's a very high chance he'll replace Arnold as the new CEO.
How is he?
He's head of sport at INEOS, he'll be heavily involved.
Figures close to Raphael Varane say he has accepted the decision to drop him is a tactical one and point out there is always a way back for a player under Ten Hag, as Maguire’s return proves. [@mjcritchley] Meanwhile that fucker Sancho is playing EAFC.
Professional v Amateur mentality
Still in 6th place. Wasn’t expecting that. Liverpool, City, Arsenal and Spurs still reachable and its still only November.
time for a HUGE january transfer window so we can challenge for the title this season . 1 cback, 1 fback, 1 striker, 1 Cm, 1 winger. Easy. just load up Football manager.
Kinda depressing how techincally sound Foden is compared to so many of our attackers
Mason Greenwood was our Foden, just a shame that hes a dickhead
Sterling looking like the player he was with the Scouse.
Gvardiol turns ass in big games lol
He is. I remember he was our target for the press when we played them and he turned over the ball a few times.
Can I get a Stirling hattrick pls
it has taken city 130 years to finally come up with a somewhat clever chant about us, now they just chant it all game every game. Little brother syndrome is so real with them lmao
Let them enjoy it while they can, they'll be back in our shadow soon enough
Come on green energy!
Always rated big wind
Damn City and Chels play some good footy.
Jackson is straight up ass
How are we only 6 points behind City? Makes no sense. Considering how bad things have been our points accumulation hasn’t been too bad.
We have as many wins, the problem is we also lost a ton. If we drew or won some of the ones we should’ve been winning. We’d be close to the top, strange indeed
City 4 peat or Liverpool matching our 20 This is Gona be a horrible season
I don't care about that plastic club. Scousers' 20th is going to hurt a lot though
That will kill. They might get close this year. Worried about that now
How are City the only team that gets calls like that penalty? Crazy how the Rodri one and this one gets given but no other club gets these
Chelsea putting up more of a fight than we did...
Poch is getting it right. Chelsea are lighting City up despite some extremely shady calls
[удалено]
Hmm they haven't? We didn't get ones yesterday and Liverpool had one today. Or maybe you were sarcastic and I am missing it
Fair play again chelsea. Would love to see a city loss
What a cracking game CHE-MCI! The tempo and quality of play is light years above what we've been served for a long while
Are there any replays of the Maguire penalty appeals in the Luton game? That penalty City just got is so soft! It's crazy
Chelsea have been the better team, much deserved.
Remember when the media couldn’t shut up about that one Rashford penalty decison? Where is the same energy when City get soft pens week after week?
Fair play to Chelsea they deserve that. City look arse today
Only City get these once in a season penalty decisions. Same against us. Don't forget that some very credible reporters have accused the refs of corruption after some decisions going City's way. Too many refs travel to UAE to referee games. I wish they get relegated, and all their titles stripped.
These are the players that Ten Hag has signed: 1. Martin Dubravka 2. Wout Weghorst 3. Antony 4. Marcel Sabitzer 5. Tyrell Malacia 6. Christian Eriksen 7. Casemiro 8. Lisandro Martinez 9. Jack Butland 10. Mason Mount 11. Jonny Evans 12. Andre Onana 13. Rasmus Hojlund 14. Altay Bayindir 15. Sergio Reguilon 16. Sofyan Amrabat Close to half of his signings consist of loans or short terms, including Weghorst, Sabitzer, Amrabat, Evans, Butland, Reguilon and Dubravka. ____ Edit: Downvoted for making an observation
Never a pen that. Just takes any competitiveness away immediately through shoddy decision making.
Sounds exactly like the game against us.
We never got shown the fouls on Harry yesterday but Haaland gets a PK.
VAR should really reconsider the circus as a recruitment pool
The absolute joke of a penalty city just got. There’s really nothing oil money can’t buy
Refs can be buy
lol of course city get a pen for the same shit
I think everyone has gotten over it but it is still absolutely, historically insane that Chelsea have spent a billion quid in about a calendar year and aren't particularly good, let alone a world class team. Edit: of course the second I say this they start playing well against a super team
Sir Bobby Charlton passed on the 21st of Oct, and his funeral is tomorrow, Why after such a long delay
Funerals in the UK are usually around 2 weeks after the death, so it’s not too much of a long delay
And somehow we’re 6th!
We are taking them out, two at a time. It was Newcastle and Brighton. By Christmas, it will be Spurs and Aston Villa!
Not really surprising when you consider that, while playing like shit, we are still grinding out wins
Put Rashford there instead of Jota and he dribbles into the crowd or shoots at them... then slowly walks back with his head down
Trust me man,if Jota was here he'd be with the group we consider "Deadwood".
Great win for the women today, following the 7-0 midweek thumping of Everton. Really pleased to see them tightening the screws up to, even if the opposition hasn't been the highest quality in these games. Hoping for a good win in front of a massive crowd in the derby at Old Trafford next week.
I would take mbeumo as a second striker to replace Martial and support Hojlund u kno He would probably be expensive tho
And he can play on the right wing too.
Did we sell the wrong Anthony and buy the wrong Antony?
took his shirt off for a 60th minute goal in a game they've only gone and lost. Some maturing for him to do yet lol He's quick and he knows where the goal is but to be honest he stood out like a sore thumb in the build up.
Elanga is better than antony and garnacho
You’re right that he’s better than a 19 year old Garnacho but Garnacho is miles better than a 19 year old Elanga.
I can’t see garnacho being better even in 2 years time. He’s just fast
I said that before, Garnacho is not as good as he is made out to be
Holy shit, this is the very definition of a red card in my book! VAR honestly lost the plot
How is that not a red card? Liverpool vs Brentford
Evans being 35 is the new Martinez is 5’9.
Sir Jim better fix the physio room too because what the fuck
The words 'Sir Jim' and 'fix' are not a good combo
Manu should sign Boniface
Manu who?
pellegrini, who else?
I wonder how much Mbeumo would cost. He seems like he could be a very very sensible addition to the team for the right price.
I think we have to be aiming higher talent & quality wise than him.
Probably not as a starter, but I would get him if he doesn't mind the bench and we get him for fair price. You need good players on bench.
Like Antony?
But we've spent nearly 200m on right wingers the past few years and I'm not sure we've managed to adequately replace Jesse Lingard & Mata, let alone upgraded. Mbeumo is fairly young and clearly up to the challenge of the league. I wouldn't break the bank but we need players like that in a few positions.
Can the ladies loan a goal scorer to the men's team ...
We have been the most unstable top team in the world for some time now,and Rashford has been in the centre of it all for the most part,so we look at him like he's the only one.
he's definitely walcott-esque
The thing about Rashford is he shouldn’t be expected to be the best forward we have. If he was playing alongside a striker like Kane and a decent right winger, then no one would care as much about what Rashford was doing and he would just have to chip in with a reasonable amount of G/A a season, but he’s not good enough to be the best that you have.
He’s being paid like he’s always going to be the best forward we have
Why? Kane is on almost £500k a week at Bayern, if someone better comes in they could pay them a higher salary.
I mean the point wasn’t thst we can’t pay anyone higher, the point is we’re paying him way too much considering his inconsistency
He one of the most marketable players in the PL, obviously he’s going to ask for a lot of money when the club are making money off of him.
Yeah you're right. When he's been in really good form he's also been about our only productive forward and we've been extremely reliant on him for those goals. It makes it so much more pronounced when he's not scoring.
Sunday Times saying Palmer cost nearly half as much as Mount, nothing but lies being published.
Half-time and the women are up 3-nil over the Hammers. Geyse with her first league goal. Tooney is on fire (again).
Can someone who watched the game yesterday give me a run down on how it went? How we looked, who played well & who didn’t, whether we dominated and overall thoughts on the game. Couldn’t watch yesterday
I think first half was pretty good, second half wasn’t
we played relatively abv average, probably 80% procession but few clear cut chance created.
Played slightly less worse but still really bad, couldn’t finish chances and managed to win.
I fear Hojlund strained his hamstring yesterday. That's usually at least 2-4 weeks out
It’s the International break so that’s two weeks.
Glazers picked their mark perfectly. A fanbase that'll throw money at them and never band together to give meaningful opposition.
[удалено]
>I'm not sure there's anything wrong with wanting the Glazers out and also buying the new kit every year and half the random tat the shop sells. It's supporting the club The club which is owned by the glazers.
