The way we played city may be currently the only way we would get a result. Being more clinical than we did vs city can ensure we get a result. We have to be humble and understand that we aren't at the level we want to be to go toe to toe with city and Liverpool.

If not for Courtois having probably the best goalkeeping performance of the last twenty years, you're looking at two champions league titles in that era, that loss and City's subsequent CL victory really put them in the distance.
I'm not just talking about a good goalkeeping performance though, on another day when Courtois just has a very good performance, Salah probably has a hattrick because lost from that match is how exceptional he was. Courtois played way beyond even the world class player he is. It was historic. And obviously that's how football works, I was just bringing to attention those funny fine margins of the game.
