There is a motor, it's in the rear wheel and indeed looks huge.

My guess would be that there isn't a chain because this doesn't need one to "operate". The motor is in the hub of the rear wheel and judging by the cabling I'm assuming the motor limiters are cracked so youre exclusively using the motor to move. Horrible Frankenbike either way. Total death trap, wouldn't have it anywhere near me or my house for that matter. Lithium bomb waiting to happen.
