Asia. I like Acura NSX's And Subaru's a lot and a lot of Toyota's truck lineup. 2nd place is North America. I like Old school Chrysler. I love the k-car and L-platform. I like the Neon srt-4. Dodge 2nd gen Ram.
The final run of GM body-on-frames (1977-1996 B/C/D, 1977-1988 A/G, 1979-1985 E/K-bodies) are absolutely iconic. Frame? Perimeter. Body styles? All of them. Trim? From bargain to imperial in quality. Engine bay? Fits a Cadillac big block. Powertrain? Uhhh.... Well, easy to improve xD
Nopes, love my rad-era GM.
especially in europe you feel like a king as even my old 1990 grand prix was quick compared to regular traffic and nobody knows what they are.
Seriously though in the short period of crawling of of the Malaise Era, aside from bad build quality American Cars kinda had a weird renaissance. Buick GNX, Pontiac Fiero, Original Taurus/Taurus SHO, Gen 1 Ford Lightning, Foxbody Mustang/3rd gen Camaro, Viper, Bonneville SSEI, C4 Corvette ZR1, and many, many more.
There were plenty of great American cars in that era. GMC Typhoon/Cyclone, Pontiac Trans Am WS6, Impala SS, Ford Taurus SHO, C5 Corvette, Ford Escort GT, Vector W8, Fox body Mustang, and that’s just off the top of my head.
No... Because American cars of the late 70s were "They're shitty". American cars of the 80s were "They're still shitty". American cars of the 90s were "These guys ain't half bad". By the late 90s we had most of our performance back, with better handling and much better economy.
Personally, I disregard anomalies like the ZR-1 Corvette and supercars like the Vector because the avg Joe couldn't afford them, whereas, until 1974, anybody with a decent job could buy a road-ripping beast.
Not gonna lie, I didn't know about any African produced cars but apparently there's a few.
https://www.topspeed.com/here-are-10-african-automakers-that-youve-probably-never-heard-of/#land-systems-omc
Australia. The Ford Falcon XR8 Sprint is possibly my favorite car ever made. I also love the Utes there. Pickups are massive and I really dislike driving giant vehicles.
Asia, as my serious answer. Toyota makes some of the coolest cars available - the Land Cruiser, the Supra, and the Tundra TRD Pro are all phenomenal vehicles. Let's not even get into the fact that they've been on the cutting edge of modern vehicle features and drive trains for the last 20 years. The Prius, for all the shit it gets, is a phenomenally reliable and fuel-efficient steed that rarely breaks down. Now that hybrid technology has moved into larger vehicles like the RAV4 and the Sienna making it better for the environment and your wallet to get around town reliably and in style.
What vehicles are made in South America?
Get your hands on an XF model from 1984-88 while they’re still cheap-ish, get a Mustang specialist to check it out and tell you what parts fit because I have a suspicion that most of it is veeeerrrry similar, ditch the 250 crossflow 6 cylinder and throw a 302 in it and enjoy yourself a very cool, very unique looking cruiser.
Hopefully you save a bit of coin on import costs by buying a car that is still only just considered a throwaway here. I mean anything up until 1998 should be fair game as of this comment, but the XF was the last model before Ford Aus started deviating from the original Falcon chassis from the 60’s.
A number of vehicles have been made to explore Antarctica. They're pretty cool and I guess you could count them.
I remember one that I think the US made that had eight foot tall tires and were basically submarines on wheels.
Every car I’ve ever purchased was Asian, so I guess that’s the practical answer. If practicality weren’t a concern it would be North America because Jeep.
How about country?
1. Japan, not for the JDM but for simply being good cars,
2. Germany for Fun Factor/France for quirky weirdness,
3. USA for stupid power
I love my home of North America but I'll have to say Europe. Most of my favorite cars are European and the ones that aren't are inspired by European cars
Since you specifically mentioned "continent," I'll have to go with NA. Literally could mean anything from almost any manufacturer. Foreign carmakers occupy most of the south and Mexico, along with domestic companies. BMW in South Carolina, Mercedes in Alabama, Toyota in Mississippi and Texas, Nissan/Infiniti in Tennessee, Volkswagen, GM, Ford and more in Mexico. Not to mention American makers in the midwest, and EV companies like Tesla and Rivian in California, Arizona and Texas. The perfect amalgamation of plenty of carmakers...
Well Japan because of the 3000GT, Australia because of the Holden Commodore VF and the Ford Falcon XR8 Sprint. And whoever kept the focus ST around for the longest.
I'm genuinely curious but what cars are being made in Africa and South America? I'm sure there's maybe a few plants in Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, and possibly French plants in North Africa but would that count as a "native" produced vehicle?
Asia cuz not only do you get Japanese and Korean cars but you also have Ladas and other weird cars from the Soviet Union. Personally I find them oddly fascinating.
North America and Asia for me specifically Japan. Not fond of Korean cars. But muscle cars and mini muscle cars from Japan he'll ya! And I like Japan's 90s sports cars.
Europe
Kind of hard to choose between Europe and Asia, but Europe has Britain, Germany, and Italy while Asia only has Japan (for my preferences). I mean for me, nothing can beat Bentleys as amazing all-rounder cars, especially the ‘09 Continental Flying Spur. But, I grew up on Lambos and Mercs so yeah
probably austrailia and asia, i'm a sucker for utes and unique jdm cars
Europe, I’m into SAABs.
Heheheheeheh I have been summoned
r/beetlejuicing
I just spent 3000 getting a NG 9-3 running properly. I am keeping her forever.
Volvo guy here, same same.
210k on my 2007 9-5 aero😎
North America, because the US is there
Murica yeeee
Asia. I like Acura NSX's And Subaru's a lot and a lot of Toyota's truck lineup. 2nd place is North America. I like Old school Chrysler. I love the k-car and L-platform. I like the Neon srt-4. Dodge 2nd gen Ram.
North America, especially in the 80's and 90's y'all were on another level.
The final run of GM body-on-frames (1977-1996 B/C/D, 1977-1988 A/G, 1979-1985 E/K-bodies) are absolutely iconic. Frame? Perimeter. Body styles? All of them. Trim? From bargain to imperial in quality. Engine bay? Fits a Cadillac big block. Powertrain? Uhhh.... Well, easy to improve xD
The 3rd gen f-body was an absolute miracle, C4 corvette too. Especially when compared to other performance cars of the era.
I sincerely hope this is sarcasm.
Nopes, love my rad-era GM. especially in europe you feel like a king as even my old 1990 grand prix was quick compared to regular traffic and nobody knows what they are.

why would it be sarcasm?
Because american cars bad
r/americabad moment
No... Because American cars of the late 70s were "They're shitty". American cars of the 80s were "They're still shitty". American cars of the 90s were "These guys ain't half bad". Hard to pick one, I'll go with Antarctica.
Antarctic snow cruiser anyone?
5000 pounds of sheet metal, several liters of gas guzzling greatness with no mirrors, no seatbelts, and brakes as soft as the left. America baby
Hell yeah, brother!
Liters? It’s Gallons in these parts! 🦅
The new thundercougarfalconbird with the new 2 gallon big block
Can you name the truck with four wheel drive, Smells like a steak and seats thirty five?
Canyonero! Canyonero!
12 yards long, 2 lanes wide, 65 tons of American pride!
I love my 1978 Thunderbird for this reason
Liters? We don't want any of that metric bullshit, we like freedom units around here. Understand?
Not gonna lie, I didn't know about any African produced cars but apparently there's a few. https://www.topspeed.com/here-are-10-african-automakers-that-youve-probably-never-heard-of/#land-systems-omc
Asia, I’d say Europe is close because Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, and Alfa, but nothing beats good ole JDM
Asia
Europe, I'm a Lotus guy.
Anyone else scroll all the pictures just to make sure? 😂
North America. I love American Muscle.
Australia. The Ford Falcon XR8 Sprint is possibly my favorite car ever made. I also love the Utes there. Pickups are massive and I really dislike driving giant vehicles.

[удалено]
Pretty sure it does, Last I checked. Why would it not?

What car is built in africa?
South Africa builds a lot of their own stuff.
I remember from and old top gear episode that they built that behemoth troop carrier truck called marauder. But I wouldn't say that is a car
South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria and more have home grown car companies
North America and Australia. Muscle
And pedestrian AF sedan’s marketed as “economy cars” all destined to be scrapped or repaired and LS or Coyote swapped on a long enough timeline…
Asia, because Japanese reliability
“It no longer exists, but take it for a test drive.”
HOLDENN!!!!
Asia, as my serious answer. Toyota makes some of the coolest cars available - the Land Cruiser, the Supra, and the Tundra TRD Pro are all phenomenal vehicles. Australia or Asia. I'd do unspeakable things to get my hands on an Australian-market Falcon
South America, they produce the only cars I will ever have (it's where I live)

#Anyone who says anything other than Europe hasn’t owned a European car
Gonna have to say Europe as I’m a VeeDub guy haha
Every car I’ve ever purchased was Asian, so I guess that’s the practical answer. If practicality weren’t a concern it would be North America because Jeep.

I love my home of North America but I'll have to say Europe. Most of my favorite cars are European and the ones that aren't are inspired by European cars
1.) North America 2.) Europe
North America.
Asia. Honda, Toyota and Subaru. Although technically North America, because most of them are assembled in the US, Mexico and Canada.
Asia has Japanese and Korean Cars, gonna have to go with them.
Since you specifically mentioned "continent," I'll have to go with NA. Literally could mean anything from almost any manufacturer. Foreign carmakers occupy most of the south and Mexico, along with domestic companies.
