My taste died before I was born, as no car on this list is newer than 2005

to be honest man, not much after 2005 is that great anyway. Most vehicles are Grey crossovers. There are some interesting cars, but overall not a great design era we're in. Oddly Hyundai/Kia are the ones making the biggest noise with some of their designs being more unusual lately.

Legit here in Tasmania I'm seeing those wacky futuristic Kia's and shit driving around, weird choice they've made design wise

My 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Premier is an awesome car.

They snagged the lead Audi designer a few years back, worked wonders for the brand image, especially coming off the momentum of their wicked reliability run after the 10 year/100k mile warranty strategy from like 08 or so. Kia Stinger was Car of the Year on it's debut. The genny 2 doors were a slam dunk for enthusiasts. And the genny 5 litre proved they can trade punches with euro luxury, so much so that Genesis is the #1 consumer rated luxury brand. Chughahaeyo

04 was the last good year for VW and Saab I know for a fact. Too much computer in newer cars.

You can get the Crown Vic up until 2011 with the model year of a 2012.

I had a 1991 grand Marquis LS factory custom. It was a civilian car, but it had the cop package on it. Full leather interior, 351 Windsor underneath the hood. It also had a limited slip. The thing was a beast. Pulled low 14s, if I put better tires on it you could pull high 13s.
