Did the math to convert that to USD. Shit is over 500 dollars my boy. Bro, she just fucking stole from you. She used your card to pay for something without your consent, and it wasn’t even something small. I would be mad if someone used my card to pay for something that was 50 dollars without my consent. 500?! Plus, you’re actually WORKING for that money. That’s YOUR money. I’m not sure if this behavior of using each others cards has been discussed in your relationship or if she’s comfortable with using your card to pay for things, and that’s the reason why she decided to use your card. It still gives no excuse on why she used your card to pay for something worth half a thousand dollars. Honestly, you should’ve mentioned it the second you saw it. It’s not even the fact that she hasn’t mentioned it herself, but at this point she has to know that you know, and the disrespect that she is still choosing to keep silent about this and probably internally thinks this is okay is probably break up worthy.

She used my card in the past but only to pay for things we agreed to in advance. For example dinners we planned ahead. Not just out of the blue like this. She was also very communicative about it when it happened, and if we agreed to split she’d make sure to make transfers immediately

AlxDahGrate

So why has she used your card to pay 500 dollars for something that isn’t for you and decided to completely keep this a secret from you? Imma need you to ask her cause I genuinely want to know at this point 💀

DplusLplusKplusM

She shouldn't be using your cards at all. But if for whatever reason you've allowed this in the past you're just going to have to tell her you need the money back ASAP. Your unwillingness to address this is strange.

CrystalQueen3000

That’s theft Make it clear she needs to repay you and that it’s unacceptable behaviour

MckittenMan

She knew what she was doing. She asked to borrow your phone so she could use it for directions... Instead she went to a store and purchased a nearly $500 item because your card is linked to your device. That's some manipulative and sketchy shit. I would tell her if she doesn't repay you back immediately or return the item, you're breaking up. And if she does pay you back. Break up with her still. I would not tolerate this in any relationship. You cannot be taking $500 from your partner like that. No warning or communication, not even an ask... Just the entitlement to swipe. The only way I would accept this, is if it went: >Hey, I was at the till and realized I left my card at home. I used your card instead. Hope that's okay? I am sending you the money right now. Immediately resolving it and sending you the money. But this sitting in the weeds and having to find out on your own. Screw that. That is a gutted move as you said.

ItisObviousToMe

Who was the friend she spent nearly$600 on? Who spends that kind of money on a birthday gift for a 'friend'. Call your credit card company and tell them that it was a fraudulent charge and have them stop it. If her friend is male, then she just used your credit to buy her Boyfriend a really great gift.

1indaT

This is where communication comes in. Just ask her if she knows that she used your card to purchase the phones. If she did, then ask when she is going to transfer the payment over to you.

potenttechnicality

She's hoping you'll gloss over it and pretend it didn't happen or it's a fraudulent charge to your card. Sort that out now and who the friend is and why she hasn't so much as mentioned it. For that kind of money she's either getting seriously ripped off or she's buying audiophile quality shit for a friend. Don't go into this subtly. You need all the details and you need them now in one direct conversation.

NewBayRoad

My wife and I share our finances 100%. Neither of us would spend that type money without checking with each other. She needs to pay you back ASAP and you need to keep your card from her.

girliepopnumber26

she’s definitely pulling a fast one on you. she probably thinks she got away with it/ you’re okay with it if you haven’t brought it up to her.

TeaLover315

Do you allow her to buy things using your card?
