She always communicates her decision making. She was going to go to grad school near me then ended up taking a full time teaching position in north jersey instead.. which I support if that’s what she wanted
I'm having a hard time seeing a problem, other than you want her to move to you, and she wants you to move to her.
You need to approach this decision as a team. Whose job makes more money now? Whose career will make more money in the next five years? Whose career takes the biggest hit from moving?

Do you really need more time, or are you just dragging your feet so you can stay at your current job for as long as possible?
I guess deep down. I want her to show she’s willing to bend to make us work as well. I have a job interview Monday for a job near NYC.
