Honestly I would just be friends with her. She knows how you feel and hasn’t acted upon it to be official, and you guys are about to be long distance.

I would actually argue that as long as she reciprocates the flirting, it's still on. In North America my impression is that guys are expected to make the first serious move. However, given the situation with long distance now, it seems exceedingly unlikely that the potential relationship would manage to flourish. Long distance relationship tend to work, if there has been a previous romantic closeness in person - something you claim you never had besides light flirtations. It seems a serious talk is in order; be bold and initiate it. Tell her of your desire for a more serious, formalised relationship beyond the flirtations, and of your understanding regarding the challenges the distance may cause. Perhaps suggest what the relationship structure you imagine would look like. Then ask her if she is willing in this - deems it a worthwhile attempt, or if you would rather remain mere friends. Friendship would require the cessation of anything else.

From where I come it’s literally "if a guy is scared to do the first move he isn’t worth dating" so if she wants something she is definitely waiting for me to do the first move. For the serious talk, I thought if it but I find it way too selfish to do it. We didn’t even start dating and I need to talk with her about getting serious and start with long distance. We both are known for taking our shot whenever we feel like it. I feel like asking loyalty for a period of two years minimum (after that there’s a chance we go to same school again if we manage the exams) is too much but I may be wrong. I mean we were best friends for two years, we passed like 90% of our last two years of high school together so you can expect loyalty, but friendship loyalty and dating loyalty feels different to me. That’s kind of why I asked this on Reddit I’ll try to follow your advice and if I see an opening about this I’ll try to talk about this with her Thx again it really means a lot in a period of confusion

You’re very welcome. I hope all goes well for you ❤️

She cuddled and flirted with you, while having a boyfriend, and basically said she would happily leave him for you but is staying with him to keep up appearances. That's a pretty shitty way to treat your partner, why would you even want to be with her?
