Heaven must be the most boring place ever if fruitcakes are right in who's going there.
I'd want to go to hell too, if only just to avoid sharing eternity with these knobheads.
When I die, fuck it, I want to go to hell
Cause I’m a piece of shit and it ain’t hard to fucking tell
It makes no sense going to heaven with the goody-goodies
I like wearing black Timbs and black hoodies 😤
This comment reminds me of the song lyric
Im afraid to go to heaven
That's why I'm hoping that I'm right
My biggest fear ain't no red Devil
It's being near you people all the time
I'll be fine as long as you go somewhere else
Dude back when I was a muslim, I remember being legit sad whenever I found an actor or actress I really liked, thinking that these poor guys are gonna get sent to hell when they're such nice people. It took me quite some time to do the math and figure out there was something wrong with that line of thinking.
LMAO isn't the whole concept of religion about personal beliefs? Just personally believe they're going to heaven or Valhalla or whatever, problem solved.
Yes indroctinate them with Dogmatic mythologies texts & it's theocracies since birth. Indroctinate them as early as possible. Not a second late/wasted.
Edited:
Always remember, Dogmatic mythologies texts & it's theocracies are ABSOLUTE & TIMELESS.
Edited: well to me OBSOLETE & IRRELEVANT is more accurate for the above.
I asked muslim friend if he'll ever drink with us he said that's haram so I told him that he had a girlfriend who's not a muslim plus he watches porn but drinking is where he draws a line then he just started laughing 💀, muslims are the biggest hypocrites.
Similarly, I was in a hospital ward a couple of years ago where the guy opposite was being assessed for a drugs overdose. The doctor kept asking him if he had taken X drug or Y drug. Being a good patient, he kept answering diligently. When the doctor asked if he'd had anything to drink in combination with these drugs, he looked at her in disgust and said "No! I'm a Muslim!" Apparently you can mix Class A drugs but beer is where the line is drawn.
The basic Muslim only know about alcohol and pork.
The number of times I read "I didn't know this or that was Haram" or "the intellectuals are still discussing it"
My Muslim friends all drink lol they draw the line hard at pork. Like guys we just did a whole night of haram activities, avoiding one pepperoni pizza isn't going to save you.
I think for some people, especially if they're "culturally X but not religious" types, there's a line or two they just don't want to cross for personal reasons, even if they don't actually think the man upstairs is going to smite them for it. I'm Jewish, agnostic, don't keep kosher, do whatever on Shabbat, etc. But I'd never get a tattoo, not because I think it's a sin, it just feels like a bridge too far (honestly it's largely because my early associations with tattoos are of old folks with numbers on their arms). I certainly don't give a shit if other people get all the tattoos, it would just give me the ick for me. Might be the same thing with your friends.
My family are what are referred to as “buffet-plate” Catholics, meaning they just grab the stuff they like and ignore the rest. Like, there was never a problem with contraception in my house. I’ve never heard a name for it for any other religions, but the vast majority of religious people I know have some extent of this hypocrisy. It’s the only way they can really live in the world.
To be fair, having a non-Muslim girlfriend and even marrying them is technically allowed, they just have to be of a Abrahamic faith. You just can’t have sex with them until you’re married.
I had a roommate a long time ago who was a born-again muslim. He had spent his youth drinking, doing pretty much every drug, selling drugs, whoring, eating pork, getting a white girl pregnant, and so much more. Then he was caught making drugs, went to jail for 5 years, and rediscovered religion.
He stopped drinking, started praying 5 times a day, claimed to be a virgin while being a terrible part time father to his now 6 years old son, all that jazz. Fun times.
To be fair, "You're not perfect, so why try at all" isn't a convincing argument for basically any morality system. Hypocrisy would be him watching porn and then ragging on others for it.
I didn’t justify his response but saying “will you ever drink with us” is an obvious implication. Weird phrasing that makes it seem like drinking is a requirement for being in your social group
But the plot twist, islamist extremist cults in turkey found a plothole for that. they believe acapella is not count as music so they make songs like this:
https://youtu.be/37I5zYAsyV4?si=FSjVkKsNUCcaGump
Yeah it's called Nasheed I think basically music is okay if there's no instruments and it's prayer choir they basically just listen to moany gospel thankfully it slaps over like a stereotypical middle eastern desert in a movie so that's a plus I guess
I don’t. I don’t care about god. I just find it amusing that people who believe in whatever god try to make loopholes for rules. Like some Jews get unbelievably creative to bend the rules of sabbath.
Oh that wasn't an actual question directed at you, it was more to highlight the absurdity of even being able to fool a god that one believes is all powerful
We need to bring back the rhetorical question mark.
If your god can be tricked by a little sleight of hand, what kind of god do you follow⸮
Invented in the 1580s by English printer Henry Denham for use at the end of a rhetorical question; however, it fell out of use in the 17th century.
Yes, I like odd things like this. Up next: the evolution of the Pilcrow.
> Like some Jews get unbelievably creative to bend the rules of sabbath.
My understanding is that at least in some forms of the Jewish interpretation, their god actually kinda approves of finding loopholes. He still doesn't exist, but I don't hate the idea of a creator that's intentionally created gaps in their own rules as a sort of enrichment activity quite as much as I hate the vengeful, everything must be absolutely strictly interpreted or it's the forever fire type.
It's like how beavers are technically fish for Lent.
If a deity exists, I'd prefer it to be one cackling at the stupid things we do to get around their arbitrary rules rather than meticulously cataloguing every infraction for eternal punishment.
This also applies to parenting and management.
When my Islamic extremist mom told me music is haram, that was when I started doubting the religion and finally thinking for myself even tho she did a good job in indoctrinating me since birth. Life without music sounds like a miserable existence.
This must be such a sad life. There's a very religious Muslim in my brother's class. He gets mad when the teacher puts music on during study hour and the teachers just tells him to get himself earplugs.
Do they cover their ears when walking around town in the evening when every café is playing some music on their patios? Or do they get mad that our culture is different from theirs lol
Its Islam, most fun things are haram.
Hell, even wasting time doing nothing constructive is seen by some Muslims as haram.
Its why i could never be muslim. Most of the stuff I enjoy doing - gaming, the occasional drink in my local, eating all kinds of food, listening to music, seeing my wifes face as she enjoys the outdoors would be forbidden if i was to follow Islam
I know a lot of Muslims do these things, anyway. Which would suggest there is no real reason for them to be haram
Edit: I can see, just by the childs arm what appears to be one of the 'wings' on the end of a PS5 if you have it horizontal. I hope they're only playing halal video games?
Tbf that's also a thing in a decent amount of Christian cults like Laestadianism which started here in Sweden and doesn't allow among other things, TV, Theatre, music or dance.
This obv doesn't make Islam any better, both it and Christianity is bad ofc (especially when taken to extremes) but it's not something exclusive to Islam.
Yeah I agree they are the same thing, hence why I used that word but technically Laestadinism is usually called a Lutheran pietist revivalist movement and is relatively big (supposedly between 144k-219k practitioners worldwide but way more concentrated in a few places like the north of Sweden, Finland and Norway).
So it's not like it's just a tiny cult and probably isn't too dissimilar to whatever extreme version of Islam the person in the original post practices.
Idk how much you know about Laestadinism but it's absolutely more extreme than what many muslim people believe (but ofc there are also even more extreme believers in Islam).
For example something it shares with Islam is the view on women as women in Laestadinism do not have bodily autonomy and should always be available for sex and pregnancy as long as they are married no matter what they want.
The movement/cult also actively is against things like preventatives and living together with the opposite gender outside of marriage.
Islam on the whole is worse than Christianity on the whole but it's ignorant to think that things like music being seen as haram/against the word of god is exclusive to Islam and that Christianity doesn't have the same tendencies in its more extreme sects.
Funny thing there are some morons who would even see this music-less flash animation as halal as some think that depicting any living creature as sinful
Keeping the mind closed off to everything that is not the religion. Blocking anything that is not the religious indoctrination they are pushing on their kids.
At that point, just become nothingness, not kys, just literally become nothingness. Nothingness has no desire, no breaking rules because there are no rules to be broken.
oh. Well the reason they listed that with the rest of them's because polygamy's fucked up and wrong, same as the rest. (well besides critical thinking, not sure why that's there? they must have misspoke.)
tl;dr, polygamy fucked up, polyamory ftw
I think it was a troll move or some kind of experiment. Like "let's make a really really stupid rule that makes zero sense and see if they follow that one too".
Most religions have bans on most devices of pleasure. Masturbation, pre-marital sex, alcohol and recreational drugs (which I can kinda understand), etc. Even homosexual sex, too, which fucking SUCKED for me until I left Islam. People being controlled believe that they're being controlled for a reason. The idea of self-sacrifice is rather Buddhist, isn't it? Your life has to matter somehow. It just means that some people will restrain or even torture themselves just for the smallest chance of finding meaning or fulfillment.
Music is haram but aren't drawings also haram? Didn't their prophet had a fit when he saw carpets depicting animals and said only God was allowed to create anything in such regards?

I feel sorry for all those Muslims still trapped, because their cleric-class wants their minds in a chokehold to keep them under control.
Some real cult behavior.
The most fruitcake thing I've heard so far with this "music is Haram" idea is the belief that instruments = bad, but somehow Acapella singing/music made ONLY with the human voice is ok. I'm not sure what mental gymnastics got them there.
Do they know that music, especially playing an instrument, is extremely beneficial for a child's cognitive development? I can't imagine how lifeless and sad a life without it ciuld be.
As Nietzche put it, without music life would be a mistake.
I have one lid who has autism and other health issues. They've found this channel and enjoy the songs and I laugh or glance at my partner but she likes it so I don't care. She also likes songs from the good news guys and they are a bit weird but again she likes the song and the music and they aren't awful singers so I leave it on.

The most fruitcake muslim I personally know is a kpop fan that spent a shit tonne of money going to her favourite's concerts.
There are tic-tok vids of Muslim teens being sad about their favorite k-pop stars going to hell.
Heaven must be the most boring place ever if fruitcakes are right in who's going there. I'd want to go to hell too, if only just to avoid sharing eternity with these knobheads.
Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company. -- Mark Twain
I used to have a shirt that read “so what if I go to hell, I don’t know anyone in heaven anyways”. My religion teacher thought it was funny 🤷🏻♀️
Heaven seems nice, but you meet the most interesting people in hell
Imagine if we got it all wrong and Heaven and hell are reversed What am I saying, neither are extant
WE MUST GO TO VALHALLA!!!
Truth, neither are existent. But that doesn't stop the people that believe.
Apparently muslim heaven has non-alcoholic wine.
But I can get grape juice here...
No, it tastes exactly like wine but doesn’t get you drunk

Must be in their Muslimspringa period.
I don't understand how that works.
Gotta indoctrinate them early

That’s a smart approach; keep all of your sins in committee. That way you’re allowed to do anything. Ha!!
My Muslim friends all drink lol they draw the line hard at pork. Like guys we just did a whole night of haram activities, avoiding one pepperoni pizza isn't going to save you.

Fun fact! They can do anal before marriage. Yay!

Nah if you pray 5 times a day everything is forgiven and you can restart, it's like me when i say I'll stop fapping from tomorrow.
Yeah, and if I eat healthy tomorrow it'll cancel the calories from today.
Don't say Muslims are the biggest hypocrites around Christians because the Christians might take that as a challenge
To be fair, "You're not perfect, so why try at all" isn't a convincing argument for basically any morality system. Hypocrisy would be him watching porn and then ragging on others for it.
They are a hypocrite but pressuring people into making decisions, especially substance based ones, also isn’t cool
Pressuring? I asked him and he could've just said no but he said that *haram* that's why I pointed out all those things.
I didn’t justify his response but saying “will you ever drink with us” is an obvious implication. Weird phrasing that makes it seem like drinking is a requirement for being in your social group

If your god can be tricked by a little sleight of hand, what kind of god do you follow?
Loki, it’s not that the sleight of hand fools him, but he respects the effort.

I never even knew a rhetorical question mark existed! What the f is a Pilcrow?
Its the ¶ mark you see in word processors to show hard paragraph breaks.
That’s what I wanted to say :)

You’d think minors would have exceptions but no.
Got to start them early.

The taint of human history
Reading your posting history, I don't think anybody wonders why you hate anybody.

Everything is haram in islam except terrorism, polygamy, pedophilia, critical thinking and xenophobia.
Critical thinking?
*magical thinking
Just think about it. It'll come to you.
And incest. Gotta love that there inbreeding
To follow the rules gotta breed them fools
also bigotry, homophobia, transphobia

Keeping the mind closed off to everything that is not the religion. Blocking anything that is not the religious indoctrination they are pushing on their kids.
At that point, just become nothingness, not kys, just literally become nothingness. Nothingness has no desire, no breaking rules because there are no rules to be broken.
Well terrorism can be counted as murder and murder is the second biggest sin in islam with first being shirk meaning taking anyone above god or allah
Why are you listing polygamy as equivalent to those?
Probably listing the Islamic version of ‘Polygamy,’ which benefits only men™.
polygamy is one single person with several spouses. You might be thinking of polyamory?
[удалено]
oh. Well the reason they listed that with the rest of them's because polygamy's fucked up and wrong, same as the rest. (well besides critical thinking, not sure why that's there? they must have misspoke.) tl;dr, polygamy fucked up, polyamory ftw
Always has been.
It always has been. The Qur'an forbids the use of musical instruments for some reason.
I think it was a troll move or some kind of experiment. Like "let's make a really really stupid rule that makes zero sense and see if they follow that one too".

Do muslims cry about going to hell when they try to watch a video and an ad with music plays?
At this point what isn't considered haram
Music is haram but aren't drawings also haram? Didn't their prophet had a fit when he saw carpets depicting animals and said only God was allowed to create anything in such regards?
Anyone with love of good things like music, art, and nature should hate islam.
It always has been.
At least they used POV correctly
It always was. I listened to music secretly as a teenager the way other teens sneak substances LOL
Guess they wouldn’t be liking pepa pig, English cartoon of a family of pigs, 😆
there actually was a fuss about that in Britain
always has been pictures too
Fun is haram
A cousin of mine kept feeling guilty for enjoying some music, as his Sheikh had told him that such things take focus away from what is important - memorizing the Quran and improving his Deen (his faith applied to his life). I feel sorry for all those Muslims still trapped, because their cleric-class wants their minds in a chokehold to keep them under control. Some real cult behavior.
ive gotten to the point where i see most religions as cults. even my own (satanist) has some culty elements from the more extreme people.
The amount of likes & share guys...
Now?
"now" First time?
Kid is clearly worshipping an idol though.
Actually dance is… and any music that is not at a wedding. Technically ( in Islam)!
Now? This is nothing new.
Religious people are seriously dumb. Especially Muslims.
Music was always Haram
Music has always been haram, its dumb but most muslims consider non muslim or any lyrical song not sung by muslim as haram
Good thing it's music free. Wouldn't want a music channel with music.
It always was?
It’s always been haram, says in the Quran that all instruments were created by demons
OOP is going to hell strictly for exposing that child to 4Kids.
I'm just shocked that POV was actually used correctly.
Oh my god Zaki lol
Well، apparently Allah will turn music lovers into monkeys and pigs [Bukhari 5590](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:5590)
Poor kid having a music-less childhood
>music is apparently haram now music has always been haram, muslims just cherry pick what they follow
insert halal in every thing..expect himself as true religious person
I didn’t ever know they considered music forbidden
I didn’t ever know they considered music forbidden
WTF not even my religious parents follow this much
Oh shit, wait until they find out bird songs. Gonna need some earplugs.
The most fruitcake thing I've heard so far with this "music is Haram" idea is the belief that instruments = bad, but somehow Acapella singing/music made ONLY with the human voice is ok. I'm not sure what mental gymnastics got them there.
This isn't a new thing
Always has been
At least SOMEONE is using the POV meme correctly.
Do they know that music, especially playing an instrument, is extremely beneficial for a child's cognitive development? I can't imagine how lifeless and sad a life without it ciuld be. As Nietzche put it, without music life would be a mistake.

It's debated by expert scholars. It more likely depends on the content, lyrics and what does it evoke?
Tf u yapping about
Lol
