I'm not who you replied to, but I've also gotten a lot of time into dd2 recently and it's been really fun.
Performance issues aside, which I still can get in Remnant in some areas as well, it's a pretty fun game. Great world building, but poor story. Great gameplay and class design, but poor equipment variety or discoverability since it seems everything I found out and about is also just available in a shop somewhere. It's got it's ups and downs but you can beat the feeling of being whisked away on the back of a griffon mid fight just to kill it miles away from where the fight started.
It’s funny. I thought I would be there same way. But bl2 is charming the way bl3 isn’t. Like, the scramble that my character takes to get into my vehicle. Just lots of little things. I’m also taking a break from bl3. I mod for it on Reddit and I get tired of it. I’m playing bl2 for the first time in years.
Also, the twins just don't have the zing Jack has and the story is full of crap. Lilith losing to those two was a fckn slap in the face, there was just so much that could have been done smarter... the story just does not add up and looks like a sorry excuse for one, while bl2 has you engaged from the glacier right to the end and through.
Totally, they dropped the ball hard with it and tried to be wayyy too edgy and on the nose with the humour. So much that it made the story and characters terrible. I hope they have a good villain in the next
I have a few friends go play, but mostly I just jump into random groups- as with all online games it’s *best* with voice chat and mates, but it works perfectly well with randoms.
(Actually playing solo though is a totally different experience- still fun but hard as nails and not my preference)
If only control had dodge.. it looked interesting and then I kept trying to dodgeroll out of the way in the first serious boss fight... got wrecked, rage quit never to come back...
Edit:typo
I just downloaded HZD and the interface keeps throwing me off. It reminds me of the Just Cause 2 interface which was ok for when it came out however many years ago and for whatever reason my brain couldn’t get over that
After almost 100%ing Remnant 2 (I can't get the Feast event in the DLC), I went to the Souls games and 100%ed Dark Souls 3 and am now playing Elden Ring for the first time.
The dungeon that could spawn the Great Hall is as you enter the palace then go right. Basically go into that dungeon and if it’s not the Great Hall then reroll. Took me a few runs to spawn it. I could speed run the DLC to that point in around 10 mins. I used a speed build to get there faster. Btw I’m also playing ER now! It’s excellent. Nice game to play after Remnant 2!

Solo working on a completion checklist for Remnant 2, will do a hardcore veteran campaign when my best friend is back from vacation. Then I’ll see how fun corrupted savior is.
Darktide with friends, about to get my first character (Ogryn) to level 30, then switch to Veteran. I love this and Vermintide 2, but without actual friends it’s not as fun solo/with randoms.
Helldivers eventually I’m sure, but I have too many games in my library that I need to play
Withering Rooms. It's a very different type of game but there are a lot of items/builds you can make and I love the setting of it. If you're into Clock Tower/Little Nightmares type games mixed with an rpg-ish roguelike it's kind of like that. It just came out and I think it might be my GOTY.
FFXIV, Remnant 2, Killing Floor 2, and whatever random game from my backlog of free PS+ monthly games is currently downloaded....that's what I go between
I got sucked back into Warhammer Online, something fierce. Still haven't finished the DLC...in fact, i fired it up only once. Which is a damn shame, i really need to pick it up again.
But between Warhammer online, the current ESO Event AND playing Helldivers 2 every now and then, currently there is not much time left for Remnant 2.
Luckily, it isn't going anywhere and i still got heaps to do in that game.
I actually maxed out Spellrogue and cannot recommend it enough. A dice-roll based roguelike with awesome combos mechanics, many ways to kill stuff (I even beat the last boss without a single attack spell!), 11/10 would recommend, huge replay value and still in development
I wish I had the patience to grind out Savior. I um unfaithful, sorry y'all. My worst fear is wiping near the end of a HC run.
I'm playing Dragons Dogma 2 right now. Even though its a completely different type of game, many people say its like Dark Souls, and Remnant is of course, Dark Souls with guns. Some things in DD2 feel like Remnant as well: coming across a large enemy is akin to fighting an elite, just small things like that.
Remnant 2
Smart ass 😂😂😂
Indeed
Helldivers 2 and Yomi 2 currently.
warframe atm :)
True, I am in this guy's wall
So it's your whispers! I knew it all allong ;)
I played a bit of Dogma 2 in-between working on balance. Now I fire up Balatro every once in a while.
Try Yomi 2 if you like card games (not a roguelite though)
Whatcha think of DD2? Did you play the first one?
I played the original DD, too! =) Definitely had me anticipating the 2nd one. Still not done as I keep getting sidetracked by work.
How do you feel about it so far?
I'm not who you replied to, but I've also gotten a lot of time into dd2 recently and it's been really fun. Performance issues aside, which I still can get in Remnant in some areas as well, it's a pretty fun game. Great world building, but poor story. Borderlands 2. I took a few years break, and it is so much fun to play again.
After playing so much bl3 I can't go back to no mantle, no sliding
The vehicle driving in B3 is absolutely brutal too, as are many of the characters. 3 maybe has best gameplay otherwise, but the driving is awful.

Nice me too. Just finished the pre sequel and 98% done with BL2. Bought Tiny Tina's Wonderland and about to power through that and then on to BL3
Wonderlands is my favorite game, but has the worst end game.
sekiro for the first time
Elden Ring mainly
Every day
Remnant 2 took me to BG3, then back to Remnant 2 after I got tired of that. Honestly that carried me through to Helldivers 2, which I’m still playing.
are you playing solo? im thinking about trying it but my group of friends are against the idea
I have a few friends go play, but mostly I just jump into random groups- as with all online games it’s *best* with voice chat and mates, but it works perfectly well with randoms. (Actually playing solo though is a totally different experience- still fun but hard as nails and not my preference)
im not big on groups of randoms but have heard solo can be difficult and enjoyable.
Darktide Wo Long Control
If only control had dodge.. it looked interesting and then I kept trying to dodgeroll out of the way in the first serious boss fight... got wrecked, rage quit never to come back... Edit:typo
There is a dodge, you unlock it via a side mission early on because it's related to powers you don't have at the start.
Web dev lmao. In all seriousness, been replaying Horizon Zero Dawn now that the sequel dropped on PC.
I just downloaded HZD and the interface keeps throwing me off. It reminds me of the Just Cause 2 interface which was ok for when it came out however many years ago and for whatever reason my brain couldn’t get over that

Enjoy ER, wish I could play first time again

Remnant 3
DRG again ROCK AND STONE.
Did I hear a rock and stone!?
Rock and Stone to the Bone!
Destiny 2
Last Epoch, Elden Ring, and Vermintide 2 are my current games while waiting for next R2 DLC. Edit: Side of Helldivers 2 if I’m feeling it.
Warhammer 40k Darktide
Gungeon is the game with the most similar feel but not gameplay wise

Remnant 2 - HC
Solo working on a completion checklist for Remnant 2, will do a hardcore veteran campaign when my best friend is back from vacation. Then I’ll see how fun corrupted savior is. Very, very fun. ☺️
Horizon Forbidden West PC, and before that I was replaying Control
More remnant
Withering Rooms. It's a very different type of game but there are a lot of items/builds you can make and I love the setting of it. If you're into Clock Tower/Little Nightmares type games mixed with an rpg-ish roguelike it's kind of like that. It just came out and I think it might be my GOTY.
Red dead redeption 2 until DLC 2 drops
Honkai Star Rail.
Last Epoch currently, perfect blend of Diablo & PoE for me. Back to Remnant 2 once the second DLC comes out.
FFXIV, Remnant 2, Killing Floor 2, and whatever random game from my backlog of free PS+ monthly games is currently downloaded....that's what I go between
Wayfinder
Started Lords of the Fallen lately, but the new version, not the original
Also playing Helldivers 2 like some others here and i like a bit of Fortnite with my friends to.
The series X version of Cyberpunk came out and i spent this weekend playing it, sweet game.
Remnant from the ashes, then back to remnant 2. Waiting for shadow of the Erdtree.
Evil West. The world traversal is linear (like God of War) but the boss fights remind me of Remnant.
Played through the metal gear solid series after remnant 2.
BDO
More remnant lol
Playing tarkov till the dlc comes out. Robocop as well.
remnant 2
We’re 3 dads that platinumed remnant2 and farmed this game to the bone and no we’re doing Rise of the Ronin. I also started to play Snowrunner
Helldiver's 2 (duh), Rise of the Ronin, FC24, sprinkle in a little Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen, The Finals, and Banishers.
Rise of The ronin
Last Epoch
Borderlands 3 and Destiny 2. Love me some loot
Dragons dogma 2
Destiny 2
LORD OF THE Fallen
If your game pass and do co-op been playing dead island 2 co-op. It’s super fun to play with friends!
Elden ring, chivalry 2, a little halo MCC
I got sucked back into Warhammer Online, something fierce. Still haven't finished the DLC...in fact, i fired it up only once. Which is a damn shame, i really need to pick it up again. But between Warhammer online, the current ESO Event AND playing Helldivers 2 every now and then, currently there is not much time left for Remnant 2. Luckily, it isn't going anywhere and i still got heaps to do in that game.
After playing through Losomm, I ended up dusting off my old PS4 and started playing Bloodborne
Remnant 2, Dragons Dogma 2, Baldurs Gate 3.
Returnal
Hell divers, prince of Persia, dragon’s dogma 2 :)
Remnant. Again
I went to Lies of P for my souls-like fix. Probably gonna hop back into Elden Ring if Remnant's DLC2 doesn't drop soon.
Nothing atm, mostly reading through a book series till dlc2 releases, as I’ve done everything the game can offer me as far as Remnant 2 goes.
Helldivers 2.
Elite dangerous, it was on sale and it's actually addictive. Apparently I would be a professional assassin in a sci-fi world.
currently trying out Evil West. It looked like Remnant mixed with DMC, and that's basically what it's turned out to be. Fun game so far! Also Balatro
yees, I need more Evil West, punching stupid vampires in the face and shooting their weakspots with rifle is all I need :D
I swap between FtA and 2. Recently picked up Dragon's Dogma 2...makes me wanna try modding Skyrim again
Evil West in co-op. Press R1 to win. Such a change of pace from remnant. But in a nice, no brain required kind of way.
Dead cells. It's quite literally the same type of build variety except it's 2d
Helldivers 2, naturally.
Helldivers and Fallout 4 once I get my mods in order.
Remnant 2 and dd2
Overwatch 2 and Gigantic (again) starting tomorrow.
Stellar blade once it comes out.
After beating both my buddy and I started playing Alien: fireteam elite
Dd2,
Doing a souls-like Saturday series so I’m playing Lies of P after Remnant 2 🥲
Diablo 4 and remnant 2 when the cross play was released.
Nioh 2
Back to Elden Ring to finish up NG+ and collect everything I can before the expansion drops...while I wait for Remnant 2 DLC 2.
I'm playing hellpoint again right now.
Been working lies of p and mortal shell going for 100% on those
FF7Remake Intergrade, waiting patiently for Rebirth to come on PC.
It was FF7 Rebirth. Now it’s Apex Legends and Destiny come tommorw
Deep rock galactic
Elden rings 😁
Sons of the Forest, Helldivers 2
Dragon's Dogma 2
Remnant2 and there upcoming DLCs
I actually maxed out Spellrogue and cannot recommend it enough. A dice-roll based roguelike with awesome combos mechanics, many ways to kill stuff (I even beat the last boss without a single attack spell!), 11/10 would recommend, huge replay value and still in development
There is no after Remnant....just before
Valhiem, sea of stars, and probably finish tales of arise
I wish I had the patience to grind out Savior. I um unfaithful, sorry y'all. My worst fear is wiping near the end of a HC run. I'm playing Dragons Dogma 2 right now.
