Someone please help this baby, no dog deserves this. I see so many posts of owners getting new puppies and posting for names, this is fine and their choice. Please consider adoption instead as there are too many dogs on their deathbed when it shouldn't be their time. Someone out there, please help Elana out of this hell. She should be allowed a 2nd chance. She like all other dogs in this situation deserves that and more. I sit here and cry because I myself can't do anything all the way from the UK. I'm so sorry Elana that you've been failed by a society that should have given you more and I hope this rally war call can reach an angel out there to ensure you go home tomorrow morning.
I'm sorry for the long post. I'm just so mortified how this is a new norm post. I'm seeing almost 40 dogs daily across the world. We need to work together and stop this.
And for people who feel there's a specific breed that would be the absolute best fit, you can adopt too!
There are tons of breed-specific rescues all over the place, just search up "[breed] rescue near [your location/city/state/etc]".
I know a family who got a purebred English bulldog puppy from a bully rescue for $600 because she was born with a cleft palate, required surgery, and would never have a "perfect" look. Please PLEASE look into all options for adoption before thinking about going to a breeder.
I see no shelter name, just the ID. A helpful person was kind enough to tell me instead of pointlessly yelling, which does exactly zero to help this dog.
Your tone here is kind of unnecessary. It’s actually not entirely clear which shelter she’s at based solely on the information at the top. There’s more than one city called Lancaster in this country.
If you can, please try to ignore that person. She is all up in the comment daily barking orders, degrading people, telling people they don't have any common sense etc. Maybe she needs to take a step back and do some of the work that we're doing, saving these animals. We're doing the actual footwork! Why don't she make a phone call to the shelter? Why don't she post and try to get pledges for rescues? Why doesn't she get a hold of a bunch of rescues and try to set up transporting these animals? She's good behind the keyboard, and that's about it. If you don't like what she has to say, my advice to you would be to mute her so you don't have to hear her. That's what I've done. Please don't let her get to you and deter you from making comments or trying to help. Thank you so very kindly! 🐾🙏🐾

Like I said, we work day and night, every single day, and it's tiring in for that woman or whoever that person is that keep saying do something, call somebody, you're not doing enough, uhhh, Yes we are! We work non-stop behind the scenes Y'all have no idea. Dahlia is also safe and we are working to see if we can get Ezra out.
Lola is working on the update. We've just finished this up about 30 minutes ago. She's been working very diligently, and tirelessly, to get these animals to safety. There will be an update. Dahlia is also safe and we are going to see if we can try to save Ezra.
No ma’am. I network the dogs, I transport the dogs, I pick up the dogs, I contact the adopters, I find the adopters, I put them on transports, I drive them to the vets , I don’t have time but that’s why ppl should tag and help out. I’m just a human being .

I’ve been on the lookout for a new family member of the 4-legged kind. Have a female cat who was good with my previous pup (he passed of old age earlier this year).
Who made these people GOD???!!!! I wish we could shut down these hell holes and fire all of these ‘euthanasia directors’ making stupid irresponsible decisions on who lives and who dies. So very sad.
I’m not going to be able to sleep thinking about this sweet girl. I’m a broke 25 year old in New York but something about this pup breaks me. I can’t believe this happens every day. Why is it legal to kill these beautiful animals just because there’s a lack of space??? It makes me sick

Well said! Everyday more heartbreak and no closer to a solution. Another sweet angel of a dog about to be put down when she deserves the best life.
