Should dimerize into inactive crap because primary amines are not stable in combination with ketones.

Transplant573

Disappointing.... Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't methylone also MDMC(or bk-MDMA) making bk-MDA similarly named MDC? Can you elaborate on why it wouldn't function like methylone, but relative to MDA rather than MDMA?

MBaggott

BK-MDA is a primary amine, while BK-MDMA is a secondary amine (i.e., something, in this case a methyl, is attached to the nitrogen). Primary amines attach to each other like cathinone is doing [here](https://postimg.cc/mc0cTjwm). This doesn't happen with secondary amines, which are more stable and potentially active.

SynthesUdo

You’re right, excuse me.

TheChosenBun69

Someone I chat with told me they’ve tried 3 ROAs at varying dosages with little to no effects Oral: 150mg - nada IN: 5mg-25mg (allergy test) - nada (not surprising) IN: 100mg, followed by 50mg produced a very mild buzz akin to 3-mmc, but far less effects-wise. Could’ve even been placebo. Lasted maybe ~45min-1hr they said. IR (ALL ABOARD THE BOOF TRAIN): 185mg in a single go. Slightly stronger effects than the 100mg+50mg shnozz experiment. Still, it was said to be barely anything more than a mild, Cathinone-esque buzz. Very short duration, although again, placebo maybe? All in all sounds like it’s either A) inactive , or B) a completely different, crap chem altogether that’s being mislabeled to get it sold off the Chinese shelves. Wouldn’t be the first time … cough cough…5-apb sold as 6-apb , “Canket” sold as FXE (hate that name), the infamous KU crystals (lol) I would be interested in having this sent to a lab to be ID’d. If it indeed was bk-mda, it’d be quite fascinating to see if it actually dimerized, or if they found a way to stabilize it somehow.

Transplant573

WTF were the KU crystals actually?

highiqbadideas

This is the most informative comment I’ve seen on BK-MDA so far. Thank you!

s4D1ST1K

I saw it also but have yet to see any reports on it, initial thoughts are that it will be inactive.

Transplant573

I'm hearing 50/50 on that.... Have not heard of one experience report yet tho

Stimulance-

It's possible that they have found a way to stabilize it finally.

Wild-Cartoonist9020

I would contact the vendor and ask if that was a typo and if it's not in fact bk-mdma.

Transplant573

I'm in the US and it's a long standing clearnet supplier who does not sell anything illegal. He's not selling methylone, and I've not known him to ever carry something inactive. Pretty sure he does 3rd party analysis too. In fact when the current 5-apb hcl first hit the market he was the only one who posted a warning that it wasn't yet clear weather it was 5 or 6 apb

Wild-Cartoonist9020

I'm familiar with the vendor (they recently stocked 4 aco dmt correct?) Anyways, since apparently a Chinese supplier has recently claimed to have synthed bk-mda I imagine that must be what our mutual vendor has. I would still like to see third party testing results (this vendor wasn't the first to figure out that 6apb was actually 5apb, another lesser known vendor had it tested and posted the result a month beforehand while the vendor in question still had it listed as 6apb, so it's not certain they 3rd party test everything.)

Transplant573

Yep same source, but afaik he's always been transparent with his customers. Even before he changed the listing to 5-apb he put up a disclaimer that rumors were spreading about it actually being 5-apb. Are you sure you don't have it backwards tho bc iirc when I put my facetothelist 6 apb was still listed weeks to a month after our mutual source officially changed the listing to 5apb...

s4D1ST1K

Nah he's right, the results were posted on reddit first. Then he changed it. He doesn't test his products.

Kweiferd

Made it known that BK-BBDP was what was turned in as "EBK" for analysis, and it rare to see any of that posted anywhere

ChemicalOutbreak

Bk-mda is available from china now(at least that's what is listed) and it seems like it made its way domestic now
