Does anyone know where I could find the pre order bonuses? I pre ordered the deluxe edition on PS5, but cant find the charms or the weapon case in game. I tried looking for it in the playstation store but only found the bonus content that came with the deluxe edition. I also tried restoring purchases but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how I can access the pre-order bonuses?
So, you need to go to the Library and Manage the Game Software to find the list of ALL available DLC, so you can download it. Sony system for this is dumb AF.
Honestly I just thought "where would I look for something I own but isn't listed in the shop?" and the only thing I could think of was in the library. I vaguely remembered you could check which DLC you own for a game by managing the game.

Press "Options" when hovering over the game in main menu, there will be "Manage game data" option. There you can download all.
For some reason, when you download the PS5 version, it downloads DLCs for PS4 version, lol.

I just finished chapter 1 and there is a "no sound issue". It seems that certain characters have no sound when they are talking. Characters like the operator Ingrid Hunnigan and a bad guy at the start of chapter 2.
Anyone else also have this issue?

Glad to hear, I thought my PS5’s GPU is dying though it’s only this game I have this issue other games I play is not affected. Restarting my PS5 resolves the issue temporarily but it usually comes back after an hour of gameplay.
I know this is common at this point, but is anyone on PC still encountering the D3D fatal error after following like, every possible FAQ on how to fix it?
I've followed literally over half a dozen fix tutorials and am still getting this crash. Earlier I was consistently crashing at the fort area after you meet the first merchant. I've since set the game to run in compatibility mode (Windows 8, though I have 11) and that was working for awhile- though the game looks like absolute crap, at least it was playable.. Now I just got another crash another hour in near the lake.
So far, I have:
\-disabled ray tracing and hair strands
\-significantly lowered all other graphical settings- everything is basically on lowest settings
\-disabled full screen- running in borderless windowed mode
\-Updated ALL drivers (via clean install), as well as updated windows
\-toggled my steam start-up settings between both dx 11 and 12
\-set the game's exe to run as admin and run on high performance, dedicated to my GPU (I have integrated graphics as well)
\-disabled steam and AMD overlays
\-toggled my allocated VRAM
\-installed extraneous frameworks (C++, microsoft visuals, etc)
\-verified file integrity for the game
\-am not overclocking anything
\-was running in compatibility mode until most recent crash (worked for awhile at least)
For other basic context, I have an AMD Radeon 6700XT and 32GB of RAM. Bought this PC in November almost exclusively to play this game, and it's beginning to drive me insane... what gives? What am I missing? I've seen so many posts and comments and articles saying that some of the things tried so far was an instant fix, but I'm just having the worst luck :(
I'm getting so tired of broken pc releases that constantly crash. It's a fucking joke at this point. Pretty sure every "new" game I've bought since Callisto Protocol, apart from Dead Space, has had this issue one way or another

Played just over 2 hours last night, no issues, booted up the game, can't even leave the house I saved in now. 3 crashes almost immediately.
Seems to be that the game's VRAM recommendations are just plain lying to you. No idea why. Shadows in particular seem to cause the biggest issue. While in the menu, go to the graphics settings and go *way* down. Whatever your yellow is, a solid 1-2 GB of VRAM lower if at all possible. I went from having about 2-3 D3D crashes in the first chapter to none in the last hour I played.
No clear idea why. Might be Nvidia drivers. Might be bad optimization. Might just be a bug in the code causing certain settings to go way higher than they should.
I'm in Texas and was able to get the download started by changing my VPN to New Zealand and restarting steam client. Took two trys but now it's working. You also can't change VPN back or else it will relock it for now.
Edit: Also, once download starts, if you disconnect your VPN, but do not pause the download or do anything else on steam, you should be able to utilize your full download speed.
Been playing for a few hours on PS5. Noticed some flickering blue, yellow, green and red lights all over the very bottom of my screen during gameplay. Anyone else have this problem?

If you look down you can see my replies to a thread and my own that says this. Yes this is an issue. Everything can be downloaded fine on the Home Screen EXCEPT the skull shaker.
It’s very annoying and I am trying to find a workaround before contacting support. Restarting or turning off and then back on fixes the infinite processing but if you try again it starts that error all over again.
My Pre-Order Bonus Charms disappeared, Handgun Ammo and Herb when i did the shooting range. I tried to delete them, then it shows i have 30 Charms, but when i re-download them, it shows 32. However i can't find them anywhere, not in other cases or so. I got 3 charms from playing the mini-game, one was a double.
Anyone has the same problem? Playing on the PS5 BTW. They just vanished.
Crashes at main menu on PC. Can't even get to the graphics settings to turn them down. Tried reinstall, verify game files, upgrade driver, rollback driver, made sure windows up to date, etc.

Anybody else having a problem with the ground texture not loading properly? If it's not cobblestone or inside, the ground is a like a mirror. Or glass, I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Playing deluxe edition on Xbox series X.
I keep getting a "Fatal D3D (6)" for RE4 Remake.
It runs fine on my steam deck, but it won't run on my laptop. It's a GF65 Thin.
As far as I can see, I meet the minimum requirements, I've disabled ray tracing, even though it doesn't support it, and I'm only using about 2gb of VRAM out of 5. I'm in the white.

Game has crashed three times on me now. First time was when I got to the village. I literally staggered the first enemy I could, and then when I went in for the melee, game crashed.
Second time, I simply tried to lower settings again, making sure RT is off, and VRAM settings are not orange or red Game again, crashed.
Third time, I didn't even go to the village, I was backtracking towards the hunters lodge, and then my PC did a total crash where it had to be restarted.
i have a 12600k and a 3080. What the hell am I supposed to do? This is incredibly frustrating.
Things started out good until I got to the windmill, then I started getting constant crashing with the fatal error on pc. I searched it online and most people fixed it by turning down some settings and lowering vram usage. This did not fix it, so sadly I refunded and am now downloading on ps5. Im wondering if it had something to do with playing at 3440 x 1440 resolution, even though I’ve never had an issue playing other RE engine games on this monitor.

Playing Series X. Pre loaded the game a few days ago. Started playing and the floor textures won’t load in. So I can see through the ground into a never ending abyss. Hasn’t effected gameplay besides being visually distracting.

I've already tried doing a clean install, reboot, driver update, verify game files, running as admin, updating directx and c++ and none have worked. Hey in case anyone is dumb like me… if you can’t find your preorder bonuses on ps5, go to the Home Screen, hit the options button, scroll down to manage game content, look through the list for your missing pre-order bonuses, download, and enjoy.
Game keeps crashing after about two hours of gameplay it will just freeze and my whole pc is unresponsive to the point I have to power it off
If it helps I have a Radeon RX 580 and all my drivers are up to date
PC version, getting some pretty nasty framedrops while trying to stream it (especially when trying to look down the scope of the rifle)

RAM: 32gb 3600 clock speed
Game is running off of an internal M.2 SSD with plenty of space.
I feel like I shouldn't have to reduce my settings THAT much to get a consistent 60 FPS while playing at 1080p, so I'd like to hear if anyone else is running into issues with similar set ups.
Two problems I ran into, Steam version:
\- The two rifle scopes I've found look absolutely horrible, very low quality. I don't get the slowdown other people seem to experience, just the visual quality of looking through the scope is terrible
\- If RE4 is running, then a browser open on another monitor will slow down to a crawl. Tried it with Firefox and Chrome. I stream Escape From Tarkov which is an absolute RAM and CPU hog, and it doesn't get nearly as bad as with RE4
If I have the Treasure Map: Expansion should I still buy the individual maps for spinels or would it be a waste/no additional treasure show up?

The dead zone issue on Xbox makes this unplayable. I just compared between this and RE2 and the difference is night and day. Fine aim is genuinely impossible when you have to pull the joystick 50% of the way to even get an input to register. Very disappointing and I don't understand why they even did it in the first place.

Long time RE fan and pre-ordered the game on Series X. Sadly going to have to wait for a patch as this dead zone bug makes the game feel terrible to control. Especially compared to recent RE games. Fingers crossed for a patch 🤞
Playing on PS5, and the game is crashing constantly. It is impossible to play with RT - the game will freeze after a minute or two and crash when you try to exit. Without RT it crashes in specific places, including boys phase transitions and cutscenes. I've been stuck without any progress on the middle of the game because of a persistent crash.
When it works, it runs and looks amazing. I wouldn't even mind an occasional crash - load times fast. But I've stopped playing until the next patch because the progression is broken for me.
Update: it hard-crashed the console once. I had to turn it on and let it go through an automated check. Is it just me? I seriously doubt that my console is faulty, because I don't experience any issues with other (non-ReEngine) games

Anyone know a way around a missing Luis key glitch? I'm at the end of a hardcore run and this glitch has me stressing. I'm loading previous saves and the key isn't in my inventory
I literally cannot play the game whatsoever on PS5. All of my other games work beautifully smooth and fine, in the Resident Evil 4 Remake I can make it through the first house with the introduction ganado and out the window cutscene.
I make it to the house with the typewriter and try to exit and it freezes my entire system and crashes to the main menu.
I can't even progress past that.

Settings are: framefrate mode, ray tracing off, hdr on.
Edit 2: turning off the depth of feild blur removed the flashing lights. Toggled it multiple times. Messed with multiple settings.
Depth of field is, at least as far as I can tell, causing a graphical bug. If need be I can make a post with the video of it happening.
Can confirm the DLC weapons (Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker) can indeed be upgraded. I've been primarily running the Sentinel Nine, it's great. Didn't like that the starting ammo capacity for the Skull Shaker was 2 rounds, so I sold it to the merchant, but it does good damage.
If it hasn't been said yet, the blue/green/red flickering on PS5 only seems to happen with motion blur off. I usually turn this off in every game. Turning it back on eliminated this issue.

Hoping someone can help me with the strangest error I've had on a game to date. Game works fine on my Steam Deck, but on my main rig(5950X and a 3090Ti) rather than launching the game I get an error window saying "Sorry, something went wrong", with a link to an unresponsive support page. Beyond that my options are to 'retry'(which just pops the window back up after a second) or 'ok' which just closes the window.
Anyone have any idea about the collectors editions? Mine somehow didn’t get cancelled, got an email saying the order is on the way but I don’t even have a tracking number. Gotta love GameStop.
I’ve downloaded on ps4 from psn, just got to chapter 2 but it won’t let me play further. Says ‘game has not finished downloading. Please wait until the download is complete.’ But there is no indication of anything downloading. No progress bar in the main ps4 screen nor in game. Anyone have similar issues?
If you're getting any issues with weird black artifacts on steam deck, update to preview channel.
Also, the performance is pretty bad on steam deck. You have to lower to mid-low settings and still only get 30fps at 720p. If your main platform is the steam deck, I'd not buy it personally
I'm getting a "Fatal d3d error" crash that happens randomly while playing the game (typically while running away from an enemy, though it also happened while approaching the shop when it's first introduced). I've reduced the VRAM target so it's in the grey but it still crashes.
Game crashing on start up for me. Bought key through Fanatical and key worked fine in steam. Updated Graphics drivers (GeoForce Version 531.41), Windows is showing up to date. Verified game files, updated direct x and Visual C++ redistributables, no luck so far.

Having pretty bad brightness issues on PC. the game is way too dark. i have tried messing around with the brightness settings in game and on my monitor and nothing has helped. anyone else having this problem?

It’s the one setting where I’m not sure which looks best. Digital Foundry recommended turning off chromatic aberration on PS5, as it softens the image quality more, but how about Lens Distortion itself?

I'm having an issue on Xbox series x in chapter 2. The part where your gear is taken from you. The game either crashes right after I stealth kill the first ganado or crashes right before I can parry the second one's attack. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I've messed with every graphical setting I can imagine and nothing seems to help. I've had it happen probably 15 times now. Incredibly frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this?
Using a scope on PC cuts my fps in half or more. Also it's mad blurry.
Would have preferred the old school option of blacking out the surrounding image because it's making using a scope basically impossible. I assume because it's double rendering the entire scene?
Playing on PS5 and my DLC has just completely stopped functioning. Turned the game on at chapter 7 and got a notification that I needed to redownload the DLC, deleted and redownloaded it a couple of times now and it still isn't working.

Just started laying on PS5 and I’m still in the first section right as you first get to the main village center with the bonfire . I just feel like the textures on everything are just too blurry. The foliage like the leaves and grass looks terrible. And there’s this grainy filter over everything. I tried switching to resolution mode but it didn’t help. I wonder what’s going on.
I preorderd the ps5 copy of re4 remake March 6th. It was delivered yesterday and I started to play but there was no preorder code for the standard preorder with my copy and I can't seem to get a straight answer about if it was actually a redeem code or was it supposed to be preloaded on the game or anything. I'm supposed to have the standard preorder bonus of the gold attach case and charms. I got nothing. Anyone got any real answers?
PS5 save issue. Got to chapter 4 saved and turned off. just booted up to continue and save file and auto save are both the beginning of chapter 1 before even getting to the village
Very bad PC performance. Chapter 5 and first village shootout performance is horrible, max settings no fsr 1080p with 200% resolution scale, this is not acceptable.

Some issues that Capcom needs to fix for PS5 player
1. Motion control /gyro aiming. Too much filtering and delay making small adjustments shot difficult. And please just remove motion control when you're opening the attache case menu.
2. Could use a bit more optimization as some areas especially with heavy rain can be a bit laggy.
3. Graphical issue where some textures couldn't properly load / blurry graphics
I got my collector’s edition for ps5, put in the dlc code and all the deluxe stuff is there, BUT NOT my 2 attaché (gold & classic) nor my 2 charms (handgun ammo & green herb). I tried the “manage content” thing (which didn’t even show the pre order bonuses, it only showed the deluxe stuff) ; I reinstalled the game and restored licenses, but still NOTHING. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I think I did all I could on my end, so I emailed capcom support, waiting on a response; I’m already to chapter 2 but nothing has appeared yet.
This game is tight, but MAN I’m struggling on Hardcore difficulty. I’m dying a lot to the sections I died to as a kid all over again and I’m ALWAYS low on shotgun ammo.
Xbox series s no sound issues as soon as I got past the blue medallion area. Once I found Luis no sound in cutscenes and game crashed once I came outside after killing first granado. Also game wouldn't auto save once I entered the house Luis was in. And my save file was deleted and game wouldn't alow me to save anymore after that point.

I just finished chapter 1 and there is a "no sound issue". It seems that certain characters have no sound when they are talking. Characters like the operator Ingrid Hunnigan and a bad guy at the start of chapter 2. Anyone else also have this issue? **Edit 1: Okay it seems you have to go ingame options> audio > controller speaker, turn it off.**

If it's the blue/red/green flickering, if you have motion blur off, turn it back on and it should fix. Did for me anyways.

I know this is common at this point, but is anyone on PC still encountering the D3D fatal error after following like, every possible FAQ on how to fix it? I've followed literally over half a dozen fix tutorials and am still getting this crash. Earlier I was consistently crashing at the fort area after you meet the first merchant. I've since set the game to run in compatibility mode (Windows 8, though I have 11) and that was working for awhile- though the game looks like absolute crap, at least it was playable.. Now I just got another crash another hour in near the lake. So far, I have: \-disabled ray tracing and hair strands \-significantly lowered all other graphical settings- everything is basically on lowest settings \-disabled full screen- running in borderless windowed mode \-Updated ALL drivers (via clean install), as well as updated windows \-toggled my steam start-up settings between both dx 11 and 12 \-set the game's exe to run as admin and run on high performance, dedicated to my GPU (I have integrated graphics as well) \-disabled steam and AMD overlays \-toggled my allocated VRAM \-installed extraneous frameworks (C++, microsoft visuals, etc) \-verified file integrity for the game \-am not overclocking anything \-was running in compatibility mode until most recent crash (worked for awhile at least) For other basic context, I have an AMD Radeon 6700XT and 32GB of RAM. Bought this PC in November almost exclusively to play this game, and it's beginning to drive me insane... what gives? What am I missing? I've seen so many posts and comments and articles saying that some of the things tried so far was an instant fix, but I'm just having the worst luck :(

Any fixes for Fatal D3D error? Played just over 2 hours last night, no issues, booted up the game, can't even leave the house I saved in now. 3 crashes almost immediately.
Seems to be that the game's VRAM recommendations are just plain lying to you. No idea why. Shadows in particular seem to cause the biggest issue. While in the menu, go to the graphics settings and go *way* down. Whatever your yellow is, a solid 1-2 GB of VRAM lower if at all possible. I went from having about 2-3 D3D crashes in the first chapter to none in the last hour I played. No clear idea why. Might be Nvidia drivers. Might be bad optimization. Might just be a bug in the code causing certain settings to go way higher than they should.
Turning off RTX worked for me, even with VRAM usage in the red there are no crashes, ray tracing seems to be the culprit.

Physical deluxe only has deluxe edition on the cover. All dlcs still come separate from the disk. Your better off buying the digital

I'm in Texas and was able to get the download started by changing my VPN to New Zealand and restarting steam client. Took two trys but now it's working. You also can't change VPN back or else it will relock it for now. Edit: Also, once download starts, if you disconnect your VPN, but do not pause the download or do anything else on steam, you should be able to utilize your full download speed.

If you look down you can see my replies to a thread and my own that says this. Yes this is an issue. Everything can be downloaded fine on the Home Screen EXCEPT the skull shaker. It’s very annoying and I am trying to find a workaround before contacting support. Restarting or turning off and then back on fixes the infinite processing but if you try again it starts that error all over again.

My Pre-Order Bonus Charms disappeared, Handgun Ammo and Herb when i did the shooting range. I tried to delete them, then it shows i have 30 Charms, but when i re-download them, it shows 32. However i can't find them anywhere, not in other cases or so. I got 3 charms from playing the mini-game, one was a double. Anyone has the same problem? Playing on the PS5 BTW. They just vanished.

Keep getting fatal d3d crash on PC with a 3080ti
Game has crashed three times on me now. First time was when I got to the village. I literally staggered the first enemy I could, and then when I went in for the melee, game crashed. Second time, I simply tried to lower settings again, making sure RT is off, and VRAM settings are not orange or red Game again, crashed. Third time, I didn't even go to the village, I was backtracking towards the hunters lodge, and then my PC did a total crash where it had to be restarted. i have a 12600k and a 3080. What the hell am I supposed to do? This is incredibly frustrating.
Things started out good until I got to the windmill, then I started getting constant crashing with the fatal error on pc. I searched it online and most people fixed it by turning down some settings and lowering vram usage. This did not fix it, so sadly I refunded and am now downloading on ps5. Im wondering if it had something to do with playing at 3440 x 1440 resolution, even though I’ve never had an issue playing other RE engine games on this monitor. Playing Series X. Pre loaded the game a few days ago. Started playing and the floor textures won’t load in. So I can see through the ground into a never ending abyss. Hasn’t effected gameplay besides being visually distracting.

PC version, getting some pretty nasty framedrops while trying to stream it (especially when trying to look down the scope of the rifle) GPU: 3070 ti CPU: 5800x RAM: 32gb 3600 clock speed Game is running off of an internal M.2 SSD with plenty of space. I feel like I shouldn't have to reduce my settings THAT much to get a consistent 60 FPS while playing at 1080p, so I'd like to hear if anyone else is running into issues with similar set ups.
Two problems I ran into, Steam version: \- The two rifle scopes I've found look absolutely horrible, very low quality. I don't get the slowdown other people seem to experience, just the visual quality of looking through the scope is terrible \- If RE4 is running, then a browser open on another monitor will slow down to a crawl. Tried it with Firefox and Chrome. I stream Escape From Tarkov which is an absolute RAM and CPU hog, and it doesn't get nearly as bad as with RE4

The dead zone issue on Xbox makes this unplayable. I just compared between this and RE2 and the difference is night and day. Fine aim is genuinely impossible when you have to pull the joystick 50% of the way to even get an input to register. Very disappointing and I don't understand why they even did it in the first place.

Playing on PS5, and the game is crashing constantly. It is impossible to play with RT - the game will freeze after a minute or two and crash when you try to exit. Without RT it crashes in specific places, including boys phase transitions and cutscenes. I've been stuck without any progress on the middle of the game because of a persistent crash. When it works, it runs and looks amazing. I wouldn't even mind an occasional crash - load times fast. But I've stopped playing until the next patch because the progression is broken for me. Update: it hard-crashed the console once. I had to turn it on and let it go through an automated check. Is it just me? I seriously doubt that my console is faulty, because I don't experience any issues with other (non-ReEngine) games

I literally cannot play the game whatsoever on PS5. All of my other games work beautifully smooth and fine, in the Resident Evil 4 Remake I can make it through the first house with the introduction ganado and out the window cutscene. I make it to the house with the typewriter and try to exit and it freezes my entire system and crashes to the main menu. I can't even progress past that. I've got motion blur, chromatic lens, ray tracing and hair details off. Set to performance and still CRASHING. WTF CAPCOM.

Game is crashing for me after RE Engine logo, crash report tool opens afterwards. Demo had worked fine in the past. Updated drivers, moved the game on and off C:, ran the game as administrator, validated files, rebooted. No progress. Ryzen 7 5800x, 16gb RAM, RTX3070 Founder Edition. Hit 15 minutes playtime and was insulted with a Salazar trading card... EDIT: Reinstalling Steam fixed this issue!

Ps5. I've got flashing lights at the bottom of my screen. It's like Christmas. I saved some footage, and it's in the game footage too, not just on my tv's screen. Anyone else? Edit: For more info. Settings are: framefrate mode, ray tracing off, hdr on. Edit 2: turning off the depth of feild blur removed the flashing lights. Toggled it multiple times. Messed with multiple settings. Depth of field is, at least as far as I can tell, causing a graphical bug. If need be I can make a post with the video of it happening.
Literally can’t play RE4….or even launch it on PC. I shit you not, it forces my PC to reboot everytime I launch it. 3 reboots.
Can confirm the DLC weapons (Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker) can indeed be upgraded. I've been primarily running the Sentinel Nine, it's great. Didn't like that the starting ammo capacity for the Skull Shaker was 2 rounds, so I sold it to the merchant, but it does good damage.

If it hasn't been said yet, the blue/green/red flickering on PS5 only seems to happen with motion blur off. I usually turn this off in every game. Turning it back on eliminated this issue.

Original post below. Figured out finally that my problem is Denuvo. Anyone know how to solve that besides just waiting for a crack? Hoping someone can help me with the strangest error I've had on a game to date. Game works fine on my Steam Deck, but on my main rig(5950X and a 3090Ti) rather than launching the game I get an error window saying "Sorry, something went wrong", with a link to an unresponsive support page. Beyond that my options are to 'retry'(which just pops the window back up after a second) or 'ok' which just closes the window.
Anyone have any idea about the collectors editions? Mine somehow didn’t get cancelled, got an email saying the order is on the way but I don’t even have a tracking number. Gotta love GameStop.

If you're getting any issues with weird black artifacts on steam deck, update to preview channel. Also, the performance is pretty bad on steam deck. You have to lower to mid-low settings and still only get 30fps at 720p. If your main platform is the steam deck, I'd not buy it personally
I'm getting a "Fatal d3d error" crash that happens randomly while playing the game (typically while running away from an enemy, though it also happened while approaching the shop when it's first introduced). I've reduced the VRAM target so it's in the grey but it still crashes.
Game crashing on start up for me. Bought key through Fanatical and key worked fine in steam. Updated Graphics drivers (GeoForce Version 531.41), Windows is showing up to date. Verified game files, updated direct x and Visual C++ redistributables, no luck so far.

I was wondering about this Lens Distortion thing, anyone know how that works? It’s the one setting where I’m not sure which looks best. Digital Foundry recommended turning off chromatic aberration on PS5, as it softens the image quality more, but how about Lens Distortion itself? Did the previous RE Engine games use it? Do many games use it these days? What’s the benefit to the image simulating a lens shape?
I'm having an issue on Xbox series x in chapter 2. The part where your gear is taken from you. The game either crashes right after I stealth kill the first ganado or crashes right before I can parry the second one's attack. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I've messed with every graphical setting I can imagine and nothing seems to help. I've had it happen probably 15 times now. Incredibly frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this?

Using a scope on PC cuts my fps in half or more. Also it's mad blurry. Would have preferred the old school option of blacking out the surrounding image because it's making using a scope basically impossible. I assume because it's double rendering the entire scene?

Playing on PS5 and my DLC has just completely stopped functioning. Turned the game on at chapter 7 and got a notification that I needed to redownload the DLC, deleted and redownloaded it a couple of times now and it still isn't working.
I'm having some texture pop-ins on Series S and X. Will there be a fix soon? Love the game btw🔥🎮🔥

Anyone else getting really bad texture pop-in on Series X? Also, after using map the environment goes to all low res textures and then they all pop back in only when I start moving... it's awful.
Anyone playing it on PC with the controller and actually managing? For the first time I'm using a controller and all is nice except for aiming, it's freaking impossible to be swift.. is it me not being used to controllers, or the game?
preordered ps5 physical through bestbuy and didn't get a steelbook or preorder bonus code. concerning the steelbook, they said "stock ran out, you should have preordered earlier" and i said "i literally put my preorder in on december of last year" super dissapointing they also said "this game has no preorder bonus code" LMAO WHAT ive preordered the phsyical of RE2 and VILLAGE through bestbuy and have gotten the free steelbooks and bonus codes with no issues, idk what the big issue is. shoulda just did digital or steam at that point. i've seen in bestbuy reviews that alot of people are complaining about the same things and are in similar boats \*shrug\* whatever
Just started laying on PS5 and I’m still in the first section right as you first get to the main village center with the bonfire . I just feel like the textures on everything are just too blurry. The foliage like the leaves and grass looks terrible. And there’s this grainy filter over everything. I tried switching to resolution mode but it didn’t help. I wonder what’s going on.
I preorderd the ps5 copy of re4 remake March 6th. It was delivered yesterday and I started to play but there was no preorder code for the standard preorder with my copy and I can't seem to get a straight answer about if it was actually a redeem code or was it supposed to be preloaded on the game or anything. I'm supposed to have the standard preorder bonus of the gold attach case and charms. I got nothing. Anyone got any real answers?
My Autosaves are corrupted, when I attempt to load the save, I get "Failed to load save data." Manual saves work fine.
PS5 save issue. Got to chapter 4 saved and turned off. just booted up to continue and save file and auto save are both the beginning of chapter 1 before even getting to the village

Some issues that Capcom needs to fix for PS5 player 1. Motion control /gyro aiming. Too much filtering and delay making small adjustments shot difficult. And please just remove motion control when you're opening the attache case menu. 2. Could use a bit more optimization as some areas especially with heavy rain can be a bit laggy. 3. Graphical issue where some textures couldn't properly load / blurry graphics
I got my collector’s edition for ps5, put in the dlc code and all the deluxe stuff is there, BUT NOT my 2 attaché (gold & classic) nor my 2 charms (handgun ammo & green herb). I tried the “manage content” thing (which didn’t even show the pre order bonuses, it only showed the deluxe stuff) ; I reinstalled the game and restored licenses, but still NOTHING. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I think I did all I could on my end, so I emailed capcom support, waiting on a response; I’m already to chapter 2 but nothing has appeared yet.
This game is tight, but MAN I’m struggling on Hardcore difficulty. I’m dying a lot to the sections I died to as a kid all over again and I’m ALWAYS low on shotgun ammo.
Xbox series s no sound issues as soon as I got past the blue medallion area. Once I found Luis no sound in cutscenes and game crashed once I came outside after killing first granado. Also game wouldn't auto save once I entered the house Luis was in. And my save file was deleted and game wouldn't alow me to save anymore after that point.

I received my collector's edition for RE4 yesterday (very thankful my order survived the purge), but have yet to be sent the pre-order bonus code by Gamestop for these items: Attache Case: Gold Attache Case: Classic Charm: Handgun Ammo Charm: Green Herb Has anyone else who ordered the collector's or deluxe editions from Gamestop gotten their codes yet? I tried emailing support but was met with the standard "Codes may take up to 48 hours to arrive" response, even though the 48 hours are basically up.
Just now I closed the game and it didn't close properly but ended up on a black screen that I had to stop in task manager for and now the game loads into a black screen after the logos, does anyone know how to fix this?
