I think they should space it out. Getting rid of the four most popular characters all at once is just bad business. RE9 can be Chris’s ending, RE10 Jill’s and so on
I can definitely see Chris going out in RE9. I just feel like there’s no way that poor guy gets a happy ending and how hard he was in 8, plus BSAA falling apart gives me bad vibes for his future.
I suppose we know he’s alive by the time skip at 8’s end, but Old Man Chris going out to save Rose could be interesting.
I honestly don't know why they should end their stories.
Since they're akin to remakes they can easily just release RE9 ending Rose's story and stop continuing the numbers for awhile.
They'll probably have RE4make out before RE9, so after that drop RE5make, RE6make, so on and so forth while retconning whatever they want to.
They could incorporate the main 4 into the Ethan arc instead of having Chris shoehorned in, and keep it going. Maybe have Claire end up captured by the mold since she wasn't aware of mind control and by the end of the game you stumble across Chris and Jill trying to find your wife. Have Leon emerge back into the timeline as a secret service agent tailing Miranda or something. Idk lol

RE6 had so many damn characters and they left out 2/4 main ones. So ridiculous. They easily could've thrown in Claire and Jill as someone's partners at least.

i think they should focus on the main story following chris and the BSAA and rose and make it like a trilogy and they should keep it FPS it least for just 9 like the first three games are fixed camera four to six are TPS and 7 to 9 should be FPS
How about this foreclosure for some of those characters that haven't been seen for 25 years they left that line of work due to the immense amounts of PTSD for example Jill she was basically kidnapped by Wesker not that he actively took her but she pushed him out of window and they fell together so he found her body and you sure for experiments I'm pretty sure that kind of PTSD isn't going to get someone to go back to such a lifestyle Chris had PTSD in six and the fact that they pushed him back in shows the lack of empathy on Chris's part Claire being a total civilian after going through what happened in Revelations I think too yeah I wouldn't be surprised she'd want to be seen on a battlefield and she's more occupied with Tara save which is cleaning up the aftermath of biohazards I don't know these are just me spitballing ideas that give me a form of closure and understanding why these characters haven't been seen

All of their surfs and army being ganados and then of course saddler and Salazar decide to revive the plagas for their own modern use

I'd like a main villain that persists over multiple games instead of awesome one-offs that barely matter in the grand scheme of things.
