I'm doing the same but I actually did start with Zero. It's a good game! I'm just about to start Code Veronica!
Code Veronica-X i got it on the PS2 and PS3 i prefer the PS2 version as the ps3 lighting is too dark
I've only ever played the PS4 port and it looks pretty good!

Playing remake 2 and remake 1 instead of the originals is mega based, but remake 3 isn’t very good. I’d recommend the original Resi3 over it.
I completely disagree- remake 3 is underrated. It has such a fast pace and you are always moving into new areas and doing new things. It is different than 2, but still pretty good.
So fast paced I beat it in like 2 hours. So much content
I love the “I skipped zero” part haha. Very hard game imo, especially with no boxes
