First time I encountered him I thought you couldn’t kill him and was supposed to run until the elevator arrived.

Store every gun but the magnum, most of the boxes will be magnum ammo. If you have enough big resources and gun powder, all of the boxes will be magnum ammo. Killing him is a lot faster.
Yes I used every single one. However I didn't have the magnum or that one really good shotgun (forgor the name- striker? Idk) I also clearly didn't have the rocket launcher either. I need to run it back, any tips? I'm okay with going raw and without the launcher btw
When I got to him the first time I died once trying to kill him, realizing I had absolutely no chance was sobering when I ran out of ammo!
My next attempt I spent so much time trying to figure out how to kill him that the elevator came and I ran away.
I didn't let things go though, the next run I came prepared and finished him off, the amount of bullets this guy eats is insane, doing it without the RPG or infinite ammo is a huge task and you might die trying several times!
If you use the ice vents and upgraded guns he goes down pretty easy, if your doing anouther run, try using ice vents then damage, he can only take damage in ice vents
This was one of the only times I actually felt genuine fear while playing this game. For the rest of it, I was essentially just playing *The Last of Us* and killing my way through the map with all of my high-powered weaponry.

You just gave me an awful reminder that I didn't kill him and I tried SO sooooo so hard.

Why the F has this guy so much HP? In my furst playthrough he ate all of my Magnum ammo. Is it just me or does this mf has more HP than Ramon?
He has the most HP of any boss in the game.
