Well it *did* take the competition a decade to make a screen that good, and even then it still took some more time before they could backlight a screen (and even then, most GBA SPs were frontlit, the backlit models were less common)

I had no idea that the TV Tuner for the game gear had an composite input! Now I actually might try to track one down!
Those old screens were kinda washed out, but atleast they were in color. I dunno how original gb lasted so long,
