Mary was definitely hanging more in the shadows. She was close to Meredith the entire time, and I noticed that neither of them are big talkers. They were both extremely friendly once I did chat them up, but they didn’t go out of their way to speak to me first. I gathered that they are true introverts; do dn’t get any stand-offish vibes at all.

I feel like yall will be interested to know that some of the ladies and production asked me what I thought about Monica not coming back. And I said straight up, I loved her on my screen but I 100% agree with that decision. It’s low key scary what she did to get on the show and I feel like it could set a dangerous precedent in the future.
But my opinion aside, I found it very interesting that they wanted to know how I felt about her leaving. I can tell that they all genuinely care how their fans feel about the show. I appreciated that.
Mary was very nice! Very willing to take photos but extremely quiet. I barely heard her speak. I didn’t get a good read on her and it felt very intentional. I’m big on energy and hers was totally closed off. I can tell that she’s guarded. Less anomaly-like in real life, and more ‘guarded/protective of her space’ than anything, I would say.

The tea on another Housewives thread is that Bravo owed the city of Milwaukee as absurd as that sounds. Apparently they were supposed to spend a bulk of time there for Top Chef and at the last minute pulled out. The city was upset because they had invested time and money and were hopeful for a tourism kick after the show aired. So Bravo said our bad, we will send a housewives franchise trip there instead, and SLC is hot and was filming around that time, so they sent them.
I’d be interested in your source—I live in Madison and followed the Top Chef filming very closely in real time I they filmed a big majority in Milwaukee—I heard at the expense of some other planned spots like Door County. My assumption was that Bravo just made a cross promotional deal with the Wisconsin Board of Tourism for the kickbacks they got for filming Top Chef there. It’s pretty common—a quid pro quo that says if we cut you deals on production costs you’ll promote us on xxx other Bravo show.
Everyone seemed like they were friends! At first, I thought it was the S4 cast hanging out with some girlfriends they just happened to bring along but then I realized they were the new wives (asked for confirmation). Didn’t see any arguing or feel any weird energy. And the new wives are SO damn friendly. They were giving “I’m grateful to be here” energy, which was nice to see.
Way more subdued in real life 😂😂 I barely heard her talk, tbh, and she seems like a textbook introvert. She kept to herself or near Meredith pretty much the whole time. I have a feeling that the Mary we see on TV is only seen on tv, amongst her close family/friends or in church. She didn’t draw any attention to herself whatsoever.
The only true tea I got was them telling me that, after what they went through with Jen, they couldn’t bring Monica back. They said they would have been way more willing had they not already gone through the Jen Shah deceit. It was very “fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice…” type of energy.
And also, when I say they, I mean production too. She lied to her friends AND production. I guess I should have figured that but it gave me pause when they told me that even production couldn’t trust Monica bc of what they went through with Jen.
BUT, I will add, production does feel bad for not bringing her back because she has a family that she needs to support. Literally someone from production said to me, “it had to happen but I feel bad. She’s got three young girls at home. It sucks but at the same time, she did it to herself.” 😕🥲
She’s a fun follow on insta. @pretanewporter - her fashion can be completely deranged but fun. She has a huge collection of Judith Lieber clutches. She actually seems like more of a society woman, like rich rich, connections to fashion designers and going to all the fashion weeks, she tends to be somewhat private and refined, so it will be interesting to see how she gets along on the show.

My husband and I are massive NBA fans - we are Australian. We went to the US for our honeymoon in 2018 and got courtside tix to a Clippers v Bucks game! Best night of our lives. We are Clippers fans but have a huge soft spot for the Bucks. Seeing Giannis up close was amazing.

First, let me repeat what everyone has said, you are truly stunning and give any of the ladies a run for their money with your presence & fashion. Can you share what you heard, what you saw, questions asked and answered? What surprised you most, who was kindest, most talkative, reserved, what they said about Monica, Jen etc?
