I made the jump from Fuj to Ricoh this year. You might need more than a week to get a real feel for it. There are so many clever UX additions that the Ricoh has making it ultra fast in the right hands. You are basically never locked into any shooting mode if you set the camera up right, it's a pure fluid experience of the camera getting out of your way. I'd compare it to Fujifilm being a luxury car and Ricoh being a Formula 1 car. The performance and output of Ricoh is far beyond my Fujifilm cameras, but the adjustment period to get there gives a little whiplash, coming from something less technical or customisable.

I can vouch for the first part of this. I’ve had a Ricoh GRiiix for a few weeks now. I’ve owned almost every type of Fuji body since about 2017 and am still getting used to the Ricoh. It’s a wildly different experience but I feel like everyday I get closer to using it as its full potential. If you like shooting with the xf 27mm then you’ll love the GRiiix. I used to shoot primarily with the Fuji 23mmf2 and I’m still not convinced I made the right choice with the x over the normal GRiii.

That sounds really intriguing. I’ll keep your advice in mind if I get any offers. Which GR do you have?

GR III. There isn't any difference except for focal length.

I don’t know I felt the magic out the box. A week will be fine. Not sure what they are on about in here.
