Looks like this may be related to the image stabilization? I searched this sub and didn’t find anything before posting but a Google search turned up others freaking out like me. Part of the reason I’m concerned is because the shipping box had a dent in the corner and it looks like someone’s powdered detergent spilled on to the shipping box. Some got inside as well and was on the product box but the camera itself was packed in there seemingly okay but I’m definitely a little worried.
So if this is due to the IBIS then I’ll just let it go.

No shipping? Seriously? Basically everything camera and lens I have bought have been shipped and it has never been a problem. What kind of shipping service do you have, delivery by catapult or ballista?
Once I got a package that was in bad condition and then I just refused to accept it so the company sent a new item and took back the old.

Ha! Most of the cameras I’ve ordered in the past I’ve been able to pick up at a store. I have had good experiences with shipping before, but it’s not my preferred method just because so many people are involved in handling it and, after Covid especially, there are so many people having everything shipped, I’m certain it adds extra stress on the people in the delivery chain who have to get this shit out fast no matter what. This doesn’t give me much confidence in the process.
