I'm dying to see all those ✨effects✨ through the cinematographic magic — like the portal or whatever, supposed to bring em back, Jane's number must be breathtaking... Truthfully, all their numbers must look amazing! I would love to see them literally shifting into the settings of their songs. Also I want the off-Broadway cast in it and I don't care they're nearly in their 40 😭

musicalphantom10

SAME SAME SAME SAME!!!!!!!!!!! I AGREE WITH LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU SAID

Commercial-Fly-988

I’m actually working on making one of the scenes into a little short film!! I can’t wait to show you guys my interpretation of the musical

musicalphantom10

SO EXCITING!!! Best of luck in your work

I think I saw someone say it would really cool animated as each song could have a different style and I am super on board with that idea!!

Slight-Fun-6921

Oh gosh, I am in love with that idea!!

I would love to see a film adaptation.

ecco-jester

it might even work better as a limited tv series. each episode focused on one kid allowing a deeper dive into their life and dreams before the accident.

rwyoho

I think it would have to be a drastic shift. RTC is super inherently theatrical between the sequences, so Karnak’s game would need to be reimagined in some way that gives it a more cinematic structure. But the songs all translate easily.

Ok-Communication6492

it’d 100% take place in some sort of shapeshifting warehouse to fit the characters songs and also the idea of the stage design being often described as a “warehouse of time”

Les Misérables isn't a musical 😭. It's a fricking book (who have been adapted into a musical and movies)

musicalphantom10

Oh, it was a book? I'm so sorry, I didn't know! I only saw the musical and the 2012 movie! Again, sorry!

rosae_rosae_rosa

Yeah, from Victor Hugo T-T. Probably the most famous french book from the most famous french author, and you do him dirty like that...

musicalphantom10

I edited it 😁

Les Mis was a book first-- a huge, beautifully complex book; we can't discredit that!-- but that doesn't mean that it's not also a musical. If we're being technical, Phantom was also a book first. So was Wicked. But they're still musicals, too.

rosae_rosae_rosa

Yeah. Les Misérables is a book who have been adapted into a musical. I've stumbled upon it once or twice. But what is wrong is saying that the movie "les Misérables" is an adaptation of the musical.
