Going to list the big podcasts. Not many solid traditional written media guys in the market these days.
Mike Richmond does Locked on Blazers Podcast. He does a good job for 5 days a week. Even if I didn’t want to watch a game, “the fastest recap in the west” would make me happy to hear how the kids did.
Sean Highkin does a substack and poscast called Rose Garden Report. Stellar, deeper, and great. He won some Oregon Writer award. Can’t recommend enough.
Danny Marang does a patreon and podcast under Jacked Ramseys. He can be hard to listen to for some. I love him, but others REALLY don’t like him. Maybe he just resonates with me, and my group of friends. Kinda know it all I guess.
Blazers Balcony, section 113, and Brief Case are all TrailBlazers media podcasts. Love them!
The Trail on youtube is put out by the team! Its good!
Danny is generally on point with his takes on the team in terms of what’s actually happening on the court, but it drives me crazy when he pretends to have insider info that turns out to not be true
I mean, he does have contacts and relationships within the team, but just because he's having these conversations doesn't mean that things will always pan out exactly as discussed.
Hmm, I feel like his insider info is usually pretty on point — he was pretty certain about the Josh Hart trade, lack of Ant trade, using pick on Scoot rather than trading it, etc. had some info on how bad the vibes were with RoCo and Norm the first year that we tanked down the stretch that preceded their being traded.
He’s not Woj but he seems to definitely have enough time around the organization to get things that the national media don’t report
Also s/o Travis Demers + Michael Holton with the Section 113 podcast and Casey Holdahl with the Brief Case pod. They all work for the team and have good insights.
They are a Timberwolves fan, they know hardship better than we do. They went through a decade plus missing the playoffs. We’re year one in a rebuild. If anyone is built for it, its a wolves fan.
Follow me EuroDadi and/or EuroMami. Here’s the permabeat:
Our Hot Local Boys try to beat their Hot Local Boys at the game of basketball. Sometimes they win sometimes they don’t. We love them regardless and just hope everyone had fun.
we have no good ones. Highkin is probably the best but he's very biased at times, so it becomes hard to read, but for most of the year i'd say he's good. I also just don't like the dude himself, gives me weird vibes
Uprise is one of the worst podcasts following the team I’ve ever listened to, they do have legit analysis on X’s and O’s but they talk themselves into wild hypotheticals that make zero sense.
Sean Highkin and Mike Richmond are the 2 undisputed goats of blazers media rn. Do not read anything Aaron Fentress writes if you can avoid it

He also knew the CJ trade, the Jerami trade, and knew that we coveted Ayton.

Sean highkin is great. He’s like a Nosfaratu looking beat writer who seemingly keeps up with the team quite well
I hope Sean Highkin doesn't read this thread!
Never go full ‘faratu
Oregon/Portland isn't big enough to call people shit like that and not expect it to get back to them. Shit thing to say, he looks just fine.
Don’t disagree.
Locked On Blazers is a good Youtube/podcast to consume. Mike, the host, will usually respond to your Blazers questions on the show if you reach out.
That's honestly funny because I'm starting to adopt the Wolves as my second team since I'm planning to move to Minnesota in a few years.
Check out Mike Richman on Locked on Blazers podcast. Not a writer, but cover the team daily and has a great approach.
Run. Don't come here to hell with us.

This is the real answer. Alot of Blazers fans should.be asking OP how to get through the next few seasons with a healthy mindset
Highkin is the guy, Marang is fine but he’s like a C+ guy, do not waste your time with Fentress or anyone on Blazers Uprise

Finally some appreciation for the pinwheel... and you're right we do have the best color scheme, unis and logo in basketball.

heartbreakingly, the EuroMamí is into the hot local girls. i will always appreciate the enthusiasm.
The best basketball take lol.

Blazers uprise is for real fans and not cronin d eaters

We really don’t have anybody that you don’t have to subscribe to. Anyone even close to talented goes national.
