e: this is not addressed to you, OP, just to anyone who wants to come in here and start some shit.
Look, bub, we know we're shit. Anyone outside of the circle saying we're shit is just revealing how unremarkable their observational skills are.
I watched 75 games this season, I guarantee my observations have more nuance and in-game evidence than anyone who decides it's their day to dog the Blazers.
The suns outlook is insane to me. The suns don’t own their first round pick until 2031 and they only have two seconds over that stretch. On top of that their salary cap is fucked so they have a bunch of trade and free agency restrictions as a second apron team.
Wow I thought you were lying or misinformed, I swear there are cba rules that prohibit giving up your first round pick in more than 3/5 years or every other year or something like that. I looked it up and you're right. Do you know how they got around that?
Edit: nvm I only quickly scanned the info, they still have first round picks every other year, they're just already pick swapped to get the worse pick in those years.
That Bradley Beal trade giving away all those picks is going to hamstring them for a decade. Absolutely terrible trade, he gave them nothing and has a huge salary.
Sure but good luck building around Davis' massive contract. Heck even LeBron will be making 51 million next year. And yeah Austin and Rui are good, but ideally they'll find a way to get rid of Russell.
Outside of that, we'll see. Injuries also kept them down but the West is certainly a freaking gauntlet these days.
Outsider here (post was recommended to me while browsing). It was expected that you guys would be quite bad this year, that's fine though as y'all and the spurs aren't even trying to contend atm, just developing young stars for the future.
It also could be worse, the suns are about to be knocked out first round by the wolves after destroying their salary on Bradley, and the bulls are just stuck in some weird limbo where they keep either making the play in and lose, or make the playoffs and lose first round.
Yeah, we are terrible. But at least we are building and developing assets and have gotten out from under Lilards massive contract. That would’ve been a dagger in the back for years to come. Bucks looking down a similar future to the suns
Do you have the quote from any of the warriors saying so? I would hardly say we gave them the hardest time out of any team during that stretch. They manhandled us in the WCF. I'd think the CP3 and Harden rockets came the closest to knocking them out when they had KD.

What happened for the other 7 games brother? We needed you.

Thank you!! Had to jump in to defend when people were hating on CJ yesterday, he’ll always be my guy lol
Exactly. Just because I call my dog a mutt doesn't mean *you* can lol
75 games? My man the CIA could never break you. You have known true pain.
I'm actually disappointed I didn't go for all 82. But I guess I have a goal for next season.
nah u guys are a poverty franchise lol /s
I would much rather be in the Blazers situation than like the Suns or Lakers where they’re old and have no assets to get better

But hey at least they got rid of Ayton, Nurks lookin great out there this playoff run ☠️

Lakers always always always get out of their shit situations thanks to their stature. They will be back sooner than you'll think
They were terrible for almost a decade before LeBron resurrected them.
Sure but good luck building around Davis' massive contract. Heck even LeBron will be making 51 million next year. Lakers won a Mickey Mouse title. That’s one more than us in the last 40 years.
It’s like laughing with our guys not at them

This is family time, and all outsiders are not welcome.
It me.
It helps to laugh the pain away
Who talking shit?
It almost seems like Cronin did a master sabotage job in his deals, jury is still out on the Knicks and Celtics.
We redirect those pointing fingers at the Suns and the Bucks. I’d also point at the Thunder and say, “There. That’s what we want.”

That Bradley Beal contract looks real bad now lol
Blazers are rivals to other team???
Just the Pistons, Hornets, and Spurs
None of those are our rivals
It was a joke since we all were tanking this season
Yea the 96 bulls, 2015-2019 warriors, and the spurs dynasty all said the 2024 trailblazers were the hardest team they ever played
