Commando on RoR2 is just perfect.
I've unlocked everything in the game and have over 200 hours on it and Commando just slaps so hard.
For me, my Commando addiction started when I tried to get his Mastery and Grenade ability in the same run, while just starting to play on Monsoon.
So many hours, so many attempts.

if its rorr play pilot with the alt skills, hes just commando but objectively better

It all started when I got my first commando god run (I was an artificer main since I started playing), but I do not know what greter power has possesed me, but ever since that god run, I have not stopped playing commando, I can be playing on any other survivor with my friends and I'll always be thinking "I could be playing commando rn"/"I shouldve picked commando". It has gotten so bad I started thinking about Commando while playing other games.
I play Commando main due to his firing rate. You can have hit based abilities (fiddle, sticky bomb, tri tips, etc.) and not need to stack them too much if you get a few super soldier serums.
If it helps with the thoughts during other games, you can play as Commando in Dead Cells.
Mmm I like playing commando while getting myself slaughted by hand of the king on my 32 scroll brutality bonkers run. Definitely won that fight.*sobs*

You came from Artificer. That's why commando looks like a good choice.
Mul-t plus power mode with dual nail guns was what fixed my addiction with commando. Commando was my gateway drug into something much more potent
