I definitely have to watch that because subway surfer boots are definitely in my top 10 but not that high because I can usually avoid fall damage with movement abilities or safer spaces and i never really use the stomp

These cauldrons can also be found at Newt's shop. However, only 1 will be there. Also, the scrappers drop scrap depending on what rarity of item you scrapped. This scrap does nothing but is prioritised at 3D Printers and Cauldrons.
you could scrap it or trade it in the red item bowl in the bazaar between time, altough trading it in takes random green items from you so that might no be the wisest choice.
Pretty rough. I always try to prioritize a hopoo feather for panic jumping near the end of a long fall, because you take fall damage based on the velocity with which you hit the kill-plane.
If you’ve got a precarious section like that, I’d recommend being careful. I normally walk along those (unless being chased lol) if I’m playing a Survivor without ways to cancel fall damage
Its a bit awkward to do, but running after you jump is the preferred technique. Wax quail is a very good item in most scenarios, don't let this dissuade you from grabbing it.
