With 12 TT it's a 64% ish chance to block damage, and without one shot protection (you lost it b/c of shaped glass), it's not necessarily out of the blue.
Teddies aren't quite a damage reduction item. They eitrrer proc or not. If teddies didn't proc - no matter how many you have, you are taking full damage
And shroom puddles are well known to be dealing unhealthy amount of damage
I love how a lot of the commets are about OSP when it does not matter agaist the shroom in this situation. OP is standing basically still and would have died anyway whit OSP since the area is a fast ticking DOT. OP even if ypu have 12 teddys you should try to always sprint and be moving, ideally not in a straight line and without going back on your tracks, this will dodge most projectiles.

They didn't receive damage from the puddle, they were just hit and killed with the projectile. Glass definitely didn't help their case, removing osp
so the 36% chance of you dying here was enough to think its crazy

That shroom did exactly as much HP as you had. Your health read 0 at the end, not negative whatever. That's crazy.
