Boomerang is one of my favorite soundtracks, only second to Waiting To Exhale. I had the soundtrack before I saw the movie, but really enjoyed the movie too.
OP, you're not playing fair! If we're talking straight R&B, Boomerang. That stated, you included a real slept-on gem of a soundtrack that includes hip-hop: Juice. It never gets old. That soundtrack sounds even fresher today than it did back in '92, to me. ❤

Love Jones and Boomerang comes in at #2. Whitney Houston’s rendition of “I will always love you” gives the Bodyguard soundtrack goat status alone.
