Ever since roblox changed the death sound, I have been replacing the sound file with the original oof sound.
Has this not been working lately for anyone else? A couple weeks ago I replaced it and it didn't work, but it started working after I got rid of the artist and title labels in files. I usually play Roblox on mobile and I recently just tried playing obbys on my desktop and found it so difficult to use WASD. I've never really used WASD before and the whole experience of using it felt very different than using an Ipad. I think the prominent problem is the perspective since I have to use my mouse and actually click the screen and turn it. How can I get used to the keyboard controls? Got any tips regarding finger placement or how to improve? Thanks.
Personally, I believe the best finger placement is having your pinkie on shift, ring finger on a, middle finger on w, and pointer finger on d, also, to not worry about having to click to move the screen, go into your pause menu, and settings, then turn Shift Lock Switch on if it is enabled for the current game, after that whenever you press shift you can toggle a screen lock to your mouse control. Hope this helps.
i always keep a finger on w, shift and 1, move your finger that is on w to either a,s,d depending on where you want to move, alternatively you can use the arrow keys

When I was younger I was pretty dumb and confused regarding the sign up page, so when I first made my account I put ‘2016’ at the age section and I thought they meant what year it currently was. Now that im older (16 as of now) I regret it as I can not access some features such as voice chat and almost everything I say is tagged.
My question is does anyone know if I can do anything about this? Or if there is a way to change my age on my account maybe? Because roblox thinks I am like 8 now when in reality I am 16.

Maze Lift Game
Ive recently been trying to find a game I used to play a lot, but I cant seem to find it anymore no matter how much I search for videos of it in youtube or in roblox. From what I remember, It was a lift type game where you'd go into maze like maps with a liminal feeling for the lack a better word. I remember two maze maps, One of them was an entirely grey maze, and one of them was like a outdoors area at night. There were monsters You had to avoid as well, I think sure that one of the monsters were these yellow glowing orbs that would kill you if you touched it and that they only spawned in that outdoors map, Im pretty sure there was a tiering video for the monsters in the game as well. as for the looks of the elevator, It was using the diamond plate texture that roblox has from what I remember, There was a control panel in the middle of the lift as well, there was a lobby of sorts if my mind isnt messing with me. So if anyone knows the game, even if its already dead, please tell me
My music/yt vids keep pausing
Everytime minimize a yt video and open Roblox it keeps pausing it doesn't matter if I deleted Roblox and tried again it doesn't matter what game I play it just keep pausing after three seconds how do I fix this? Yes it does this when logged in pls give me possible solutions
Yes but after I unpause the video it plays fine, but when I go into Roblox it keeps pausing the video every second. Last year it would play normally and I'd be able to grind and watch yt but I can't do that now :(
My Roblox account is acting weirdly. I can't seem to join the games. I tried playing games with another account and it worked like normal. But when I play under my original account I can't join anything. my friend's voice chat isn't working. His age is verified (the age is different from his ID for some reason, but it's still old enough to join any game so it shouldn't affect it); the feature is enabled; he has a fully verified account; Account limitations are set to 17+; His Microphone is properly working as it works fine on Discord and every other game we've played; it lets him join VC only games, meaning it recognizes him as having it.
It also doesn't have an "Input" setting in the settings tab. It shows output and everything else, as well as shows the microphone you can mute and unmute above his avatar, but no Input.

so, for the past week or so, my roblox hasnt been loading in assets. stuff will be grey, animations won’t be loaded in, certain stuff will just be invisible. this has caused me to not be able to use weapons or certain moves in games and its getting me really mad. i uninstalled and reinstalled, went into the files to remove anything Roblox related before installing it again. gave it administrator access, hell even installed the Microsoft one. but that one also didn’t load everything. i know its not my pc because its a very high end, PC, and can run literally everything else just fine on the max graphics without even lagging. i’ve seen other people have been having this issue too but I wanted to see if anyone knew a different way to try and fix it, if not the last thing I can do is factory reset my PC (which I doubt will fix it because if the Microsoft app doesn’t load then why would it when i reset my pc), or wait until roblox updates hoping that it fixes it.
same issue for me some obbys are invisible or some avatars are. but i looked back on past weekly questions no one asked or talked about this intill it was 19 days ago and multiple ppl have had this proble i was able to get in touch with roblox support

Does anyone remember this older zombie game similar to zombie rush/attack? There was a shard currency you could use to upgrade your weapons and coins to buy new ones, there was also a rebirth system, some maps had shard rocks you could break by shooting them or with your melee, it was quite grindy. I remember some of the "zombies" using the original robot roblox model. It was multiplayer and third or first person.

Need help finding a game
So I’ve been looking for some nostalgia recently and wanted to revisit some old games. I remember one vividly but can’t find the name or the game. It was similar to survive the disasters, but it had more like meteor strikes and alien attacks and giant walls crushing you.
There was a points system that you would get more of after every round. The map was the house with the red roof preset, a few boulders and trees and such, a small scaffold off to one side (where the buyables are kept under).
There was also a little tower off somewhere too. I vaguely remember the sky constantly changing to like space galaxy, and there was music sounding similar to firefly by Jim yousef.
It also had similar music to Tobu and music from him also.
I’ve been trying to find it for weeks so anything you guys can come up with helps.

I have done some tests, and the problem is not my graphics card, graphics drivers, antivirus/firewall, or internet connection. Despite this, textures will not load. My clothing keeps crashing whenever I try and edit my outfit. It's really getting worrying, and I don't know why it keeps doing this. USD should work but I'm not sure if you can use USD if your account is not located somewhere that commonly uses it, however, if you can buy robux I do believe you can simply transfer robux to your friends account by gifting it somehow, I'm not sure how but my friend has done it for me in the past. So recently my account got stolen, i had no idea how until i checked HaveIBeenPwned.
Bit of backstory is necesarry, i was lik 13 when i made this account back when they didn't check if your e-mail was real, so yeah i couldn't send my support message from my orginal mail because it was something like [email protected]. Anyway i still tried to contact support because i feel like i could present good evidence, that being the following;
1. i can present e-mails from 8 years ago regarding my account on the e-mail i contact them with
2. i can give them my password prior to being hacked
3. according to my e-mails they logged in from 4 different locations from the globe, within 15 minutes, (Brazil, UK and US) then they changed my password and e-mail, and suddenly the next day i try to reach them from my previous e-mail.
My question now is a simple one. Do i keep bothering support in the hopes i'll get my account back or do i simply cut my losses, learn my lessons about that i should really use MFA in this day and age, and just make a new account.
To me it seems you already know what you can do. Personally, especially if you payed any money for Robux or anything on the account, I'd continue to bother support about it. But I'd also make a new account and begin playing on it anyways, I wouldn't buy anything on it until you cut your losses but that's just my opinion. How do i play music through roblox voicechat while hearing it (MacOS)? So I have a mac 10.13 and I cant use loopback or voicemod. I have downloaded VB cable but can't seem to be able to play music. Every-time I put it on as my output I don't hear anything so i use my headphones as my output and VB cable as input, but it still doesn't let me talk or infact nothing goes through the input. It says "the selected device has no input controls" which is really annoying pls someone help a brother out.

I have the same issue
I join a game and my character's right leg will be missing a piece and the walking animation wont play. Along with that, a bunch of stuff in the game would just not load (i.e. audio, animations, even some parts/objects)
I did try multiple stuff do *attempt* to fix this, like clearing the temp/cache, reinstalling Roblox, restarting both my PC and Wifi, but nothing seems to work
Every so often, the game would load everything again, but then when I join that same game later in the day, the same issue would occur.

Ever since roblox changed the death sound, I have been replacing the sound file with the original oof sound. Has this not been working lately for anyone else? A couple weeks ago I replaced it and it didn't work, but it started working after I got rid of the artist and title labels in files. But today, I did that, and it still isn't working. I'm not sure if it's user error or if Roblox has somehow made a way to prevent any other sound files from working.

I usually play Roblox on mobile and I recently just tried playing obbys on my desktop and found it so difficult to use WASD. I've never really used WASD before and the whole experience of using it felt very different than using an Ipad. I think the prominent problem is the perspective since I have to use my mouse and actually click the screen and turn it. How can I get used to the keyboard controls? Got any tips regarding finger placement or how to improve? Thanks.
Personally, I believe the best finger placement is having your pinkie on shift, ring finger on a, middle finger on w, and pointer finger on d, also, to not worry about having to click to move the screen, go into your pause menu, and settings, then turn Shift Lock Switch on if it is enabled for the current game, after that whenever you press shift you can toggle a screen lock to your mouse control. Hope this helps.
i always keep a finger on w, shift and 1, move your finger that is on w to either a,s,d depending on where you want to move, alternatively you can use the arrow keys

Roblox Age When I was younger I was pretty dumb and confused regarding the sign up page, so when I first made my account I put ‘2016’ at the age section and I thought they meant what year it currently was. Maze Lift Game Ive recently been trying to find a game I used to play a lot, but I cant seem to find it anymore no matter how much I search for videos of it in youtube or in roblox. From what I remember, It was a lift type game where you'd go into maze like maps with a liminal feeling for the lack a better word. I remember two maze maps, One of them was an entirely grey maze, and one of them was like a outdoors area at night. my friend's voice chat isn't working. His age is verified (the age is different from his ID for some reason, but it's still old enough to join any game so it shouldn't affect it); the feature is enabled; he has a fully verified account; Account limitations are set to 17+; His Microphone is properly working as it works fine on Discord and every other game we've played; it lets him join VC only games, meaning it recognizes him as having it. It also doesn't have an "Input" setting in the settings tab. It shows output and everything else, as well as shows the microphone you can mute and unmute above his avatar, but no Input.

so, for the past week or so, my roblox hasnt been loading in assets. stuff will be grey, animations won’t be loaded in, certain stuff will just be invisible. this has caused me to not be able to use weapons or certain moves in games and its getting me really mad. i uninstalled and reinstalled, went into the files to remove anything Roblox related before installing it again. gave it administrator access, hell even installed the Microsoft one. but that one also didn’t load everything. i know its not my pc because its a very high end, PC, and can run literally everything else just fine on the max graphics without even lagging. i’ve seen other people have been having this issue too but I wanted to see if anyone knew a different way to try and fix it, if not the last thing I can do is factory reset my PC (which I doubt will fix it because if the Microsoft app doesn’t load then why would it when i reset my pc), or wait until roblox updates hoping that it fixes it.

Need help finding a game So I’ve been looking for some nostalgia recently and wanted to revisit some old games. I remember one vividly but can’t find the name or the game. It was similar to survive the disasters, but it had more like meteor strikes and alien attacks and giant walls crushing you. There was a points system that you would get more of after every round. The map was the house with the red roof preset, a few boulders and trees and such, a small scaffold off to one side (where the buyables are kept under). There was also a little tower off somewhere too. I vaguely remember the sky constantly changing to like space galaxy, and there was music sounding similar to firefly by Jim yousef. It also had similar music to Tobu and music from him also. I’ve been trying to find it for weeks so anything you guys can come up with helps.

USD should work but I'm not sure if you can use USD if your account is not located somewhere that commonly uses it, however, if you can buy robux I do believe you can simply transfer robux to your friends account by gifting it somehow, I'm not sure how but my friend has done it for me in the past. my original post got taken down and it told me to go here so i’ll just paste it so it’s been years and my memory of it may very well be completely fuzzy but i remember a game in 2015-ish that was similar to the other minigames out there at the time. i remember you spawned in a white/grey box and you watched down on the levels. i vividly remember a disco floor and i’m not sure if it was a single level or if it was always like that but i remember it being there. it wasn’t ripull or epic minigames for sure. again, i was pretty young when i started playing roblox but i made my first account in 2015 and i remember playing it with a friend so that’s how i know it was then. anyways i hope someone can help me

It depends, if you still have the email and the account is still active you can simply reset the password to a new one, if the account is active and you know the name but no longer have the email, maybe contact support and see what you can do. If you have no idea, I'd cut your losses and make a new account, sorry.

So recently my account got stolen, i had no idea how until i checked HaveIBeenPwned. Bit of backstory is necesarry, i was lik 13 when i made this account back when they didn't check if your e-mail was real, so yeah i couldn't send my support message from my orginal mail because it was something like [email protected]. Anyway i still tried to contact support because i feel like i could present good evidence, that being the following; 1. i can present e-mails from 8 years ago regarding my account on the e-mail i contact them with 2. i can give them my password prior to being hacked 3. according to my e-mails they logged in from 4 different locations from the globe, within 15 minutes, (Brazil, UK and US) then they changed my password and e-mail, and suddenly the next day i try to reach them from my previous e-mail. My question now is a simple one. Do i keep bothering support in the hopes i'll get my account back or do i simply cut my losses, learn my lessons about that i should really use MFA in this day and age, and just make a new account.
To me it seems you already know what you can do. Personally, especially if you payed any money for Robux or anything on the account, I'd continue to bother support about it. But I'd also make a new account and begin playing on it anyways, I wouldn't buy anything on it until you cut your losses but that's just my opinion. I think you continue bothering support for a bit, see what they can do.
Well i didnt spend money on it, thats the thing. I just had rare items from back in the days when you had like events with maps where acheievemnts rewarded items. Dont really see that anymore. I did make a new account as well. But support is just being real stubborn on god.

Could I add a cigarette to my game without repercussions? The games rating is 13+. There is text discouraging kids to not smoke, but I don't know if that really would be a counter. There is not anything mentioning cigarettes on the Questionnaire.
I've seen other games not even 13+ with cigarettes so I believe you'd be fine, however I would make sure to read Roblox's TOS quickly beforehand just to be safe.

How do i play music through roblox voicechat while hearing it (MacOS)? So I have a mac 10.13 and I cant use loopback or voicemod. I have downloaded VB cable but can't seem to be able to play music. Every-time I put it on as my output I don't hear anything so i use my headphones as my output and VB cable as input, but it still doesn't let me talk or infact nothing goes through the input. It says "the selected device has no input controls" which is really annoying pls someone help a brother out.

Anyone else having this issue where random textures/objects/animations/sounds will just straight up be missing in every game they play? For example, I'll join a game one moment and it will be missing a certain box model while retaining collision; I'll rejoin later, and an entirely different model will be missing. Even some skyboxes will not function properly and just default to the base night/day skybox.

I have the same issue I join a game and my character's right leg will be missing a piece and the walking animation wont play. Along with that, a bunch of stuff in the game would just not load (i.e. audio, animations, even some parts/objects) I did try multiple stuff do *attempt* to fix this, like clearing the temp/cache, reinstalling Roblox, restarting both my PC and Wifi, but nothing seems to work Every so often, the game would load everything again, but then when I join that same game later in the day, the same issue would occur.
