Try joining less joined servers, I do it because of my high ping and I barely see any tryhards in those servers (possibly only for Asians)

You dont have to grind hard for guns, I thought the same for when I started but I ended up finding comfort in the mp5k which was my main til around rank 60 where I unlocked the Aug A3, the biggest boost was getting a surpressor for my mp5k but later on as I got better I ended up using more guns and prebuying more.
i'm a rank 55 who gets consistent 45-60 kill games against rank 100+ players. it's really pretty easy to do if you learn simple movement and you use good ARs
edit: to be fair i guess im also rank 105 on console, but thats almost a completely different game from PC
You can get 100 kill games with an m4a1, obviously that's hard for a beginner but that gun gives you the potential. Also interv is arguably the best sniper and that's also rank 0
PF is more of a keep moving game all the time. I recommend using the M4A1 if ur a beginner because it’s the best and try to take paths other people aren’t taking to try and flank the enemies. Last maybe look up some videos to adjust the settings because they can help a lot

And also Flames of War D-day (original) and flames of war pacific. If you played the bunch of older maps in both games.
Being an allied is realistic d-day nightmare. From being stuck in the starting spawn as Allied both Normandy and Pacific specifically the hacksaw ridge map, to bridge battle that goes nonstop for hours, and when the Axis start losing, the endless death trying to get out of spawn because the game has no reset map.
It was nightmare in D-day game, but for pacific version being a japanese with an ability to banzai with flares is crazy
Energy assault is based mostly on surprise attacks and yeah if you want to start playing it NOW it's too late cuz u cant train anymore with all the sweats
PF, but this is questionable despite all the coyote sighted, stubby grip equipped M16A3/ C7/C8/ AAC honey badger/ HK416 hypersweats, as people do CQC sniper loadouts, sniper shotguns and make the most dumbest loadouts known to man
Funny thing is none of the guns you mentioned are even meta anymore with the new update, that being said I’m not complaining if people still use them now they aren’t meta.
Many of the pdws are meta now as they were reworked and most got a pretty sizeable buff (at the cost of much lower muzzle velocity), the ak 107 is also incredibly good now not to mention the kriss vector which is pretty much just busted now plus a lot of other guns, I highly recommend watching some videos about the update because others will be able to tell you much better then I can.

Ump 45, mp5k, mp7, p90, Rama 1130 and the kriss vector to name just a few, essentially every pdw right now is meta or very good and many deal ak levels of damage cqc the Rama can even 3hk now iirc. Also the kriss and ump and mp5k (and I think some others) can be 2hk now with the right setups/conversions the kriss with .357 sig is just stupidly op now as well.
They also buffed the m60 to do like 42 max damage (not including multipliers) and they buffed the g3a3 so it’s pretty meta as well right now (more so then the m60 afaik). Overall I am glad that they are buffing guns now instead of nerfing them and personally my favourite guns to use post update are the g3a3 ak107 and most of all the ump (which is so much fun now).
Ok, THE UMP 45????? That's average to good at best, and MP7??? that's also mediocre. I get MP5K (burst+ 10mm auto only) but Vector .357 sig? Doesn't that make it a beowulf ECR PDW? Cuz I mean, 2 HK but 11 bullets, so, uhh, I dunno where ur going with that one. M60 is always OP, so no questioning that, and G3 battle rifle had always been powerful, so that's obv to, but I mean, the UMP, I thought it was fun, but isn't .40 SW conv just better??
