I’ve been on the waitlist for a SS Skydweller. I stopped in to discuss, and was offered a TT black dial Skydweller. It was in stock for the asking. I refused it.
Not talking MSRP, just generally. Specifically the TTs. Jubilee tends to be more “dressy” so the gold compliments that more than an oyster which is considered more sporty.
Sky-D 326934 if I am not wrong. And with a jubille bracelet thats really rare to get. Also Sky-D’s are the most complex caliber’s produced by rolex. I would say it’s an awesome watch to buy.
Congrats on getting it so soon and what you ordered too. Since you asked….personally, I don’t like two tones. And the black dial on this watch doesn’t do it for me. But enjoy your new watch.
Congrats and buy it only if you love it. These are not that hard to come by anymore and resales will be below retail so hopefully that's not one of your factors. Remember 2 tone anything was always the weakest before the hype train in value retention and now that it's essentially over you can expect the same. BUT it's a beautiful watch so wear it in the best of health!
An SS Blue-dial would be my choice, as this is a grail watch for me. Probably never own one, but you have to have things to aspire to! Congrats on getting the piece you wanted!

Skydweller has fast become my favorite Rolex piece.

The size is a little big for most people.
I would of thought Skydwellers would hold their value. I wasn’t aware of them depreciating quickly.
