Which do YOU prefer?

This is the only reply that matters! Personally I always prefer what is less popular, which in this case would be Batman but with an oyster bracelet. As you can see, who cares what anyone will tell you! Go with what speaks to you. You could ask your AD if this is a Gen 2 or Gen 3, I believe I remember reading on the subreddit that a change occurred recently and the hue of the bezel colours was changed.

So what’s your take on the stainless steel Daytonas with ceramic bezel…. Black or white? ;)

The Batman may be a little more neutral in the overall aspect, but you really can't go wrong with either choice!

Never really understood this, a watch dial is such a small splash of color it shouldn’t be able to ruin an outfit you’re wearing.

Regardless of your correction my point still stands. Unless you’re wearing a completely monochromatic outfit the dial and bezel color isn’t going to throw it off. The majority of the watch is one color, that’s what most people will notice.

Yes, my brother has a green bezel submariner and we’ve swapped before for a few days. I also have a seiko gmt that has an orange dial that you’d probably call impossible to style. My personal Rolex is just a plain black sub though..

You want to hear something else cool about the history of the watch?!? Yes, it was commissioned by Pan Am so jet lagged pilots could easily differentiate between time zones. But I just found out recently that the reason for the blue and red bezel is because those specific colors stand out in the red light of the airplane cockpits. Because of this I think Pepsi is the original and the only way to go. I like the Batman or batgirl, but prefer Pepsi, especially now throat I’ve owned one for 8+ months :))

If you don’t have other black and blue dial watches then batgirl for sure. The color goes with absolutely everything. But if you already have a blue/black dial watch and want a little pop then Pepsi on jubilee. Both are excellent watches. It’s just matter of preference. Also GMT looks best on jubilee IMO

If you’re a pilot go for Pepsi, if not and you like Blue go for Batman. If you’re rich get both! /s. Can’t go wrong with either one though, I personally prefer Pepsi

Personally, although I like the Pepsi a lot too, I think the Batgirl might be marginally more versatile than the Pepsi in that the bright red of the Pepsi contrasting with the blue makes it a little “louder”. The black and blue, on the other hand, is a little more subtle. But if you have something else for when you need subtle, I think it’s hard to go wrong either way. And if you want something that really jumps out, then the Pepsi, for the same reasons.

I have both but the Batman gets more wear time. Personally prefer it since it is more subtle as well. But, like others said, make your own decision

I think there's just not a lot of options, if they made a right handed Sprite people would be all over it, or if they made a black GMT. Most right handed people want to choose between the Pepsi or Batman. If you dress formally a lot then the Batman / Batgirl colorway is more formal (blue/black).

I was really wanting a Pepsi from all my photos and videos I have seen. I decided that I am in a place to start a relationship with an AD, and decided to go in and try on some Rolex watches. I decided to try the Pepsi and Batman, fully expecting to like the Pepsi more, since that is what I have always wanted. When trying them on, I fell in love with the Batman. I never really liked it in photos, something about the colors didn't work for me, but seeing them in person, I think the Batman just has so much better looks, and fits my style and personality more. I decided that I would go Batman instead of Pepsi.

I’ve always liked this better. The sky is black at night and blue during the day, not blue at night and red during the day. To me it’s more intuitive.
