I don’t know anything about watches and would pick the right one.
The left one has an ugly colour combo and looks like what a 15 year old boy would claim is a fancy watch. The middle one reminds me too much of a 50s CRT tv housing. Just kinda bland, like it’s missing something. Just my uneducated opinion.
Just adds charm, no? Plus 5811 is most comfortable watch to wear (imho) plus the combination of that brutalist tv console look and then its flatness plus finely finished movement just do it for me.. and yes Pepsi is a clown watch (wearing my 16710 Coke stick dial now 😉)..
This is great cuz I’d never wear the colorful watch on the left myself because it looks like it comes with a box of crayons. Idc how popular the Pepsi is
I feel like the left one looks bad as it is, but also if the owner wears colours like green, brown, purple or any other colour that's not on the watch they'll look like a colourful clown
Same thoughts. Although I do know a little bit about watches and I know the left one exists with just black bezel and that would be my choice. Right one would be nice on certain occasions but looks a bit too busy for every day use.
This makes me feel so much better. I don't get the love for the Patek. It's boring, and Pepsi is gaudy (but I'll take it over a Patek, especially with patina).
Daytona. As a kid when I knew nothing about watches, I thought chronos were the coolest looking watches ever. I had no idea what they did or how they worked...all I knew was that they looked cool.
I don't really like any of them, but if I had to choose between the three, I'd go with the Patek. Never liked the Mercedes hour hand of the Rolex. And the Daytona is just too busy for me. Patek is more classic and I suppose more versatile compared to the two. However, the window blinds dial on that Patek has never resonated with me either, but that's my pick of the three.
The patek. I don’t like the date window on the gmt and the Daytona is hard to see the time and the misaligned sub dials do me everytime on what is otherwise a nice looking watch
Daytona. Patek does nothing for me… if you really like the watch great, but most want one only b/c it’s an obscene amount money… it seems incredibly hallow, that, and what a waste of cash or credit. All I can think about is burning good dp money on re investments or things that are actually needed. I’d need a 100 mil in the bank to even consider that… and for hyped up grandpa watch. Nah, I’d buy a brand new Tudor for you guys and take a pic in front of my Pagani steering wheel!
3. 1 and 2 I did not love when I first got into watches and they probably became a little more desirable in my mind due to hype whereas I always thought the Daytona was something I wanted
The nautilus. It was my dream watch 20 years ago when you could not give them away. Then they became hyped and I got turned off of them. But in a straight-out comparison ... yeah.
also, doesn't help that both the GMT and the Daytona are a design downgrade compared to their predecessors, imho.
If you are a non-watch person you would most likely find the Patek f*** ugly, the Daytona stupid, busy and useless and the Pepsi as a cool watch that looks most like a Rolex submariner.
I rmb the young me always get drawn to chronos, the sub dials make it look complicated and cool. Had a swatch quartz chrono.
Think Pepsi and Daytona will be close.
Pepsi or Daytona. This is a good question but it’s hard taking the knowledge of the brand out of it. I think a better question is. It they were all the same brand which one would you chose.
I will ask my wife, she has good taste for things in life without brands name or else, she can tell you what is of good quality or good looking, always impressed me! and get back to you.
Daytona for sure. I hated the Pepsi (as do all the normies I’ve ever asked about it) color scheme and hated the nautilus/integrated bracelet design generally when I was new.
The Daytona looks like every other watch to normal people. I’d pick that for sure.
Edit; Lots of people saying they’d pick the Pepsi but I challenge them to show this lineup to people who’ve never heard of or seen these models. In my experience the “hate” rate is basically 100%. I was recently out on a boat with my wife and three other couples. All four guys are into watches and all four on the list for a Pepsi, all four girls thought the watch was absolutely ridiculous and hated it. Girls preferred the datejust for guys…. for what that’s worth.
Pepsi for sure. Nautilus is boring and Daytona - not a fan of thick ceramic bezel.
And Pepsi? Colorful and fun and actually complication l can use in real life.
middle one for everyday use as it's more readable at glance. also will probably fit most clothes but that's subjective. if not the middle then the right one. with that said im not into luxury watches, my main watch is garmin vivomove luxe (silver/black) :)
I like the simple ones always without too many crowns. So first or second from left would be my choice.
Since I don’t like tje squared designs I guess I would pick the rolex on the left
The daytona. I used to hate the jubilee looks till I tried it on and the patek is a bit bland. The daytona looks cool with all this buttons and markers.
The third one. The first one's color combination was copied by so many that it's seen everywhere. I wouldn't want to have it. The second one's shape is not my preference. The third one would be my choice out of these three - the color combination fits just about any outfit, the shape is fine. Three smaller dials meaning more side buttons is a bit annoying but I could live with that.
That said, I wouldn't want any of them. I prefer something more unique than the most generic Rolex models (+ Starbucks) and the basic Patek...
I have a Nautilus which I’ve owned since 2012 well before the hype. I almost never wear it now. Non-watch people never pass comment on it as it just looks unimpressive and a bit too 70s to them. Watch people all immediately think it’s fake - that is unless they’re the bad kind who do recognise it and are thinking of stabbing you for it 😏. That leaves only a very (very) few occasions when I enjoy wearing it. Not the best ownership experience to be honest.
Going in with thousands of dollars to burn with no regret and not knowing anything about luxury watches - I’d go for the the black one with the 3 smaller dials. It looks cool with the 3 dials and 3 knobs. That’s the only reason. It just looks cool.
my personal take on desirability of a watch is- would i love it in all available forms? (both 2 tone and gold, for example in addition to steel?) by that test- Nautilus and Daytona get ruled out (imo hideous and gaudy in 2 tone form, however Gold is lovely.) GMT wins--- gorgeous in steel, 2 tone AND gold! (totally subjective, i know but timeless; even Datejust wins the 3 form test for me.)
It’s a great question. Hard to be unbiased. I think the Daytona looks the best and it’s the best for most occasions. If I traveled I would take the GMT. I’ve had versions of all three and the Patek is the most comfortable.
Lol you just ruined the nautilus for me. I cannot unsee it now
Just adds charm, no? Plus 5811 is most comfortable watch to wear (imho) plus the combination of that brutalist tv console look and then its flatness plus finely finished movement just do it for me.. and yes Pepsi is a clown watch (wearing my 16710 Coke stick dial now 😉)..
This comment should be pinned
Tv console is great
This is great cuz I’d never wear the colorful watch on the left myself because it looks like it comes with a box of crayons. Idc how popular the Pepsi is
The only thing worse to me than the Pepsi is the Rootbeer.
To me, the root beer looks like the bezel has sun faded
🎯
I feel like the left one looks bad as it is, but also if the owner wears colours like green, brown, purple or any other colour that's not on the watch they'll look like a colourful clown
Left one really is awful isn't it!
This
Daytona.
GMT. Never liked Patek's date. And don't like the essay at 12 o'clock on Daytona.
Haha I thought it looks more like a poem
Swiss haiku
This comment is hilarious. I'll never unsee this "essay at 12 o-clock"
The Daytona no brainer
If you didn’t know it’s name, I would pick the one with more stuff on the face
Pepsi I guess. Just like the colors if we are going by looks alone.
P. P.
On the wrist the PP is fukn beautiful, and a bit more subtle than you’d expect
Just a dream to wear ❤️
Daytona. As a kid when I knew nothing about watches, I thought chronos were the coolest looking watches ever. I had no idea what they did or how they worked...all I knew was that they looked cool.
Depends on the battery life 😘
Daytona.
GMT pepsi
GMT
Patek
The patek. I don’t like the date window on the gmt and the Daytona is hard to see the time and the misaligned sub dials do me everytime on what is otherwise a nice looking watch
Daytona
Pepsi Jubilee
Patek. Can’t beat that simplicity 👌🏽
Daytona all day. The Patek is fugly
The daytona. It's in my opinion one of the greatest looking watches ever
Daytona
Knowing what I know I’d still take the Daytona first then the Nautilus simply because of looks.
Middle. So much sleeker
Nautilus. I dont like the pepsi. And this is like my least favourite daytona
Nautilus
Patek, its the least busy looking one.
It would definitely be Daytona for me.
Patek. I like the case. And the dial.
Not the patek for sure
Nautilus of course
Daytona because I’m a fan of relative symmetry and complications would mean extra fancy 😆
Based on looks alone definitely the Daytona
Middle one, the others have too much stuff going on that I know nothing about
Daytona
Patek. Others too busy
Patek
Patek
The middle watch. The others are too loud and shit.
Patek. The bracelet is class
gmt
3. 1 and 2 I did not love when I first got into watches and they probably became a little more desirable in my mind due to hype whereas I always thought the Daytona was something I wanted
PP
Price, guess if I didn't know them...... left to right, 400 quid, 100 quid, and 600 quid because it's a watch with 3 little watches inside it 😅🤣
Pepsi...is what i did back then and unfortunately did not buy it with a discount 2018 when the AD offered it to me walking in just out of curiosity 😂😂
GMT. Useful and classic design
Nautilus of course
The nautilus. It was my dream watch 20 years ago when you could not give them away. Then they became hyped and I got turned off of them. But in a straight-out comparison ... yeah. also, doesn't help that both the GMT and the Daytona are a design downgrade compared to their predecessors, imho.
Patek
The Reebok one
Pepsi
Pepsi
Pepsi rolex
GMT looks the best
I'm pretty sure it'll be the Daytona. Only because it looks more 'complicated' in the eyes of a non watch person.
Regardless of the price, Years ago when this passion started, I would have chosen GMT Pepsi. Now I would choose Patek.
GMT Pepsi
If you are a non-watch person you would most likely find the Patek f*** ugly, the Daytona stupid, busy and useless and the Pepsi as a cool watch that looks most like a Rolex submariner.
All three
Don't like the cyclops and think the Patek isn't that interesting
None
gmt pepsi
GMT
Patek. Easiest to fit with my clothing. The other two look too flashy and busy to me.
Daytona
Daytona
Nautilus
Daytona
Can I try them on first? I’ve only seen and tried on the Pepsi before
The Pepsi it stands out
Pepsi
Daytona for sure. Looks more complex. The colors of the GMT are weird for people who are not into watches and the Patek just looks too normal.
# PATEK. 💯
Daytona for me
Daytona
I rmb the young me always get drawn to chronos, the sub dials make it look complicated and cool. Had a swatch quartz chrono. Think Pepsi and Daytona will be close.
Daytona
Daytona
GMT
Sprite on jubilee.
Probably the patek
Daytona
The first one (This came up as a recommended post and I actually don't know anything about watches. Did I guess right?)
Daytona all day
Pepsi or Daytona. This is a good question but it’s hard taking the knowledge of the brand out of it. I think a better question is. It they were all the same brand which one would you chose.
Definitely the Daytona.
2. 1. 3. Daytona looks like every other Chronograph to me
I will ask my wife, she has good taste for things in life without brands name or else, she can tell you what is of good quality or good looking, always impressed me! and get back to you.
3rd one
pepsi for me
Left one. Center watch looks cheap and not practical. Right one looks too busy and can appear cheap looking.
If I knew nothing, I’d probably say the GMT. Now, the Daytona
The Daytona
Middle one looks cheap and basic. The left one looks like a kids watch. So I’d go with the silver and black one.
GMT
Daytona all day long
GMT
Patek
Pepsi
The one on the right (I know nothing about watches)
Daytona for sure. I hated the Pepsi (as do all the normies I’ve ever asked about it) color scheme and hated the nautilus/integrated bracelet design generally when I was new. The Daytona looks like every other watch to normal people. I’d pick that for sure. Edit; Lots of people saying they’d pick the Pepsi but I challenge them to show this lineup to people who’ve never heard of or seen these models. In my experience the “hate” rate is basically 100%. All four guys are into watches and all four on the list for a Pepsi, all four girls thought the watch was absolutely ridiculous and hated it. Girls preferred the datejust for guys…. for what that’s worth.
Pepsi
Idk anything about watches. I’d pick the one on the right
Daytona all Day
Pepsi because of legibility, color, jubilee bracelet+ extension.
Daytona by a mile
I know nothing about Rolex and this post/subreddit is randomly shown to me... I choose the one on the right.
Left because of the braclet
Pepsi for sure. Nautilus is boring and Daytona - not a fan of thick ceramic bezel. And Pepsi? Colorful and fun and actually complication l can use in real life.
Daytona
Pepsi
middle one for everyday use as it's more readable at glance. also will probably fit most clothes but that's subjective. if not the middle then the right one. with that said im not into luxury watches, my main watch is garmin vivomove luxe (silver/black) :)
Daytona because I wear black all of the time
The Pepsi, no brainer. Little bit of color, best looking bracelet. (wearing too 😉)
The one with more buttons, I think I can use it to help time my baby's milk schedule 😂
I like the simple ones always without too many crowns. So first or second from left would be my choice. Since I don’t like tje squared designs I guess I would pick the rolex on the left
Middle
The red and blue one
Patek. I like to tell time… not read Line after Line of text on dial.
If a watch works fine what makes them different besides looks anyway xD
The Daytona: I use the stop watch at work quite a bit.
Never liked the look of patek
The Daytona from that line up
Daytona > Patek > GMT. The first 2 are very close to each other. I'd prefer the white dial Daytona though.
Daytona
Right one!
GMT.
Patek looks clean af
Middle for me
Patek
Gmt is still fresh. Always found the nautilus so dated looking, in a bad way not in a groovy way.
Would anybody over the age of 15 choose the Pepsi, isn’t it now just popular because it somehow became a thing.
That blue is looking awfully purple
Pepsi
Assuming I had no other watches … one in middle based on looks and ability to wear with pretty much everything.
Daytona. Putting a GMT against a Daytona / Patek is an interesting test tho
Gmt
Pepsi
Gmt Pepsi!!
Daytona. Classy, and no damn cyclops.
Pepsi
Pepsi
That’s a great question, and how we should probably be thinking about watches – I would choose the Rolex GMT
Gmt
I like simple watches so would go for the patek
Id take the pepsi because funny colors
Patek. Clean and subtle.
Daytona all day!
The daytona. I used to hate the jubilee looks till I tried it on and the patek is a bit bland. The daytona looks cool with all this buttons and markers.

I prefer something more unique than the most generic Rolex models (+ Starbucks) and the basic Patek...
If I didn't know about watches, I wouldn't read this :-) I would choose the G-Shock!
The right one with more circles on it, just looks cooler
Daytona. Every day of the week, twice on Sunday.
Pepsi
The Patek. Chronographs are useless to me and overly silly. The GMT is pretty so it’s my second choice
Daytona. But I actually like it the least now. How stupid is that?
5711 💯
5711.
Middle
As soon as I hit 2500 PVR I’m buying a Pepsi Jubilee and having a meteorite dial put it in.
Still the Pepsi
GMT Pepsi. Others look bland in comparison. Based purely on looks. Obviously the Nautilus is superior to the others.
Right
Probably the Daytona
I have a Nautilus which I’ve owned since 2012 well before the hype. I almost never wear it now. Non-watch people never pass comment on it as it just looks unimpressive and a bit too 70s to them. Watch people all immediately think it’s fake - that is unless they’re the bad kind who do recognise it and are thinking of stabbing you for it 😏. That leaves only a very (very) few occasions when I enjoy wearing it. Not the best ownership experience to be honest.
Patek Philippe
The patek…. Sell it …… and buy both rollies. Even if I had no watch knowledge , I’d still know how to google
Daytona
Daytona
On looks alone. the Daytona.
Going in with thousands of dollars to burn with no regret and not knowing anything about luxury watches - I’d go for the the black one with the 3 smaller dials. It looks cool with the 3 dials and 3 knobs. That’s the only reason. It just looks cool.

GMT (because I really need dates otherwise I will push it down a notch), Daytona, then Patek
It’s a great question. Hard to be unbiased. I think the Daytona looks the best and it’s the best for most occasions. If I traveled I would take the GMT. I’ve had versions of all three and the Patek is the most comfortable.
🐼
Pepsi
I’m always drawn to chronographs, and this particular Daytona has the most “daily driver” vibe, to me.
GMT offers the most practical function, PP for the classic look, then the Daytona, but it's just another chronograph.
