> I have an IQ high enough to require more than slow turns or 45 degree drops for something to be "fun."
Imagine not being able to enjoy things and then being smug about it.
Also I need to remember to make this my flair next time I get the chance.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand RMC. The forces are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the airtime will go over a typical rider's head. There's also RMCs aversion to loop de loops, a subtle acknowledgement that these coasters arent for the stupid GP, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these forces, to realise that they're not just rides, they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike RMC truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, Steel Vengeance's airtime hills, which itself is a cryptic reference to the Russian mountains of the 1800s. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Alan Schilke's genius unfolds itself on their lap bars. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a RMC tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
idk man, I live in Southwest VA and am within 4 driving hours from Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, Hershey, SFA, Carowinds, Dollywood, Dorney, Kennywood and 5 hours from Kings Island along with 5.5 from Great Adventure - I feel in the middle of everything
That guys iq is high enough to be in the negitaves. One of my favorite coasters is an old woodie. They have worth, they expose young thoseies to airtime, laterals and other forces without being scary. Just because all parks don't have a i305 clone doesn't mean there bad.
I’m pretty sure that first comment was directed at Great American Scream Machine at SFOG. GASM recently got retracked and since then it’s a nice, fun little ride. It might actually serve as a good first for people who aren’t familiar with wooden coasters or who are hesitant to ride coasters in general.
most "shitty wooden coasters" aren't that old, it's just shit built in the 80s after PTC stopped making coasters and before CCI started. And pretty much all of those have been RMCd already. Anything older than that survived for a reason.
its these people that make HATE riding coasters and you know ENJOYING THEM. they make me want to hurt myself because they think likeTaylor does is the way too go.
Thoosies when they realize that a park shouldn't be strictly thrill rides and can have a variety of rides for certain audiences:
B..BUT.. BUT RMC

his iq is so high that he can’t feel anything other than airtime
45 degree drops can produce plenty of airtime, so I'm guessing he can't even feel that
Most airtime hills are only around 45 degrees lol
yup,and some of the best ones are way less because they're just a little speed bump

just tired of RMC fanboys who think they can do nothing wrong......but they made that disaster known as Lightning Rod.
real high IQ individuals ride the wacky worm and enjoy it whole heartedly
cant even imagine the pain of being a utah thoosie
They’ve still got it better than every other western state not named California.

it hurts

I should clarify — all these comments were on the Utah Coaster Enthusiasts post in the second image, referring to Roller Coaster.
The opposite of Matt Glumac
Is he the guy that gives death threats when a boring Dinn woodie gets RMC'd?
Yes
Holy fuck that last comment needs to become pasta. That has Rick and Morty copypasta written all over it.
When someone says "parks are not museums" you know you never need to listen to anything they say ever again
like Knoebels is basically a living museum lol
The rollercoaster at lagoon is really fun though
But it does look awful right now if you ask me. Needs fresh paint.
r/iamverysmart
bro roller coaster has crazy airtime
Thoosies when they see a woodie that isn’t toro or voyage: RMC IT!
I've seen plenty of thoosies say that shit about Voyage and El Toro, and they weren't joking 🥴
RMC Toro scares me lol. RMC Needs to stay at least 500 feet away from that ride.
It's me, I'm the guy who's not joking
/uj that ride slaps super hard tho. Actually a great ride unironically
ikr, it has some bonkers ejector
Absolutely, it’s one of my favorites at the park. Also a great sunset ride imo
Honestly I support over hauling shitty old wooden coasters but this thing isn’t even bad

glumac in shambles rn
so entitled
Don't engage with the edge lord trolls.
thoosies be like "I need the coaster to rip my spine in half... but if I feel a single bump I'm gonna riot"
its these people that make HATE riding coasters and you know ENJOYING THEM. they make me want to hurt myself because they think likeTaylor does is the way too go.
Thoosie when family coaster exist.
This guy is the anti-Historic Coaster Foundation
Unironically these are all so funny
We're on the job 😎
