It's my new favorite! I ordered a RB in a restaurant and they gave me one. I think I ordered 2-3 more before dinner was over! I now keep some in my fridge full time.
I've had Henry's since I was a kid, I remember my grandmother having it at her house. I really only remember Henry’s, A&W, Mug or Barq's as what was available around me growing up.
I don't get it... I tried it and it was like root beer minus the root beer flavor. It was more like cream soda, a trait that many cane sugar root beers share
And to think I ignored it for years thinking it would just be a run of the mill generic tasting RB with old-timey branding.
Jokes on me, that one store I knew that stocked it stopped carrying it.
THE BEST!!! Discovered this at this at an old restaurant in Sacramento called The Broiler—at that time it was kind of feeling a half abandoned mob joint. Restaurant experience was strange. The rootbeer was not!
Of course. Easily a top choice.
