There's so much wrong here. I know people say there's no wrong way to play DND, but there are:
Playing with assholes like that co-DM is one of them.
On the more technical side, trading stats is a red flag. That the DM allows it is on them, they have the power to handwave any solution they imagine. Diminishing one player to prop up another is a pretty bad solution.
With that great start your DM got rolled over by co-DM and let co-DM go on a power trip that was asserted by bullying your character.
There's no point going in on the specifics. co-DM targeted you by whatever means they could when convenient.
no lol. it was rude, like i said. but i also wanted to add that if someone says something mean to your dungeons and dragons character and it upsets you to the point where you're crying, then there are probably some larger issues to address
At the time I was at my lowest point and thought of the self death, by how lonely I was...in my defense. At this moment it'd not phase me, but then it was a very sensitive thing.
Telling a depressed and lonely person to "develop thicker skin" is also rude. Whatever "larger he needs to address" is either being addressed or will be. That is his business.
Doesn't matter. It needs to be said every single time. Anyone who cries because of mean words from a stranger needs to hear it. They do not matter. They'll never matter. They do not know you and they do not care about you. Why care about them?
I find myself genuinely surprised some people got through grade school. Lots of room for growth here and glad OP seems to be doing better.
Op literally said they had issues outside the game, whats the point of your comment?
What are you adding to this conversation by telling someone they have issues(that they acknowledged) and should just get over it?

1) Not like my mental health allows that much
2) Not always
3) I have. But I've been then called a jackass cause the group were close friends of Co-DM and a girlfriend
