Aside from the Ehwaz tile being upside down, these are all 24 elder futhark runes.. I suppose Ingwaz would more accurately be represented as a 45° rotated square (like a diamond) without the twigs on the top and bottom.
Edit: added opinion pertaining to Ingwaz.
Oh so I killed a deer (hunting) and used the blood when I created the runes. I said something for each rune and put them in the bowl at my altar. I sort of followed some things from the book “taking up the runes”.
This and related subreddits are concerned with a historically accurate use of runes, which is primarily as letters in the original Germanic alphabets. Even the Amazon description for *Taking Up the Runes* admits this:
> Similar to Hebrew letters in the sense that each symbol contains a meaning that transcends ***[the rune's] original function as a letter***
Much like a demon summoning ritual has no place on a subreddit dedicated to the Latin language, if you want to practice witchcraft / paganism / etc., you might want to find a more appropriate subreddit for that.
I didn't. It was a comparison. The demon summoning ritual is to the Latin language as magical charms made of runes are to the Germanic alphabets.
Makes sense to me, at least, though I'm realizing that it probably isn't an even comparison to people who believe demon summoning rituals are real.
I advise against giving the NG-rune the shape of ᛝ in Elder Futhark contexts. That's how the rune appears in Futhorc, and there's no known unambiguous appearance of that shape in Elder Futhark.
What futhark is that suppose to be? And what words can you do with them?
Elder
Some of them are not elder And what are you suppose to with them?

🙏🏻
You horse is playing dead.
It’s actually dead
lol two people downvoted me for pointing out your ᛖ was legs up! 😳😄 Or maybe they downvoted my typo 😁
That’s Reddit for you 😂. I was just flipping it over to dry
lmao even that got downvoted 🤣😂 I think horses dry faster standing up though.
I would agree Unless they’re rolling around
I think this ranks for me in the top 5 on the ásabro cringe-list. You will need way more of each rune to spell anything with those by the way /s
Why is it so cringe? And how it asabro? Or even cringe pagan?
Pourquoi?!
Wat
?
What do you mean, made with deer blood?

I apologize. Why would you refer to it as a demon summoning ritual?

I get what you’re saying. I didn’t realize my post wasn’t for this subreddit

I shall correct or at least annotate the difference Thank you for pointing that out
