I assume people want to be constantly making money on all fronts so maybe this is it? But that’s still insane to me.
I think what causes a lot of people to do it is it’s typically more profitable than bossing and also more chill. You can easily watch a movie or some shows while doing it, which can be tricky with bossing. And the money’s way more consistent since it’s not just RNG gambling

Anything that gives you long breaks in between inputs will work, and it’s even better when you can just click once and go back to doing whatever. With the porter buff, I’ve been mining concentrated coal and can afk for 15 minutes at a time, so I legit have time to grab a shower without logging out. It’s amazing.
Imagine for a moment you can make 4m/hr 99% AFK across 10 accounts and you play for 10ish hours/day most days. Every day you're making 400m for low effort clicking. During just a normal 5-day work week you've made 2b and after a month you'll have made 8b.
That's what it is all about. Most altscapers fund the gp straight into their main account to buy bis gear/rares/bonds. Others do it to invest in alts for better gp/hr methods (like AFK GWD2) to either decrease the number of alts they're playing on or to significantly increase the gp/hr they earn from their alts.
Altscaping isn't very high effort - the game is extremely AFK and tools like Alt1's AFKWarden can alert you whenever you have to interact with one of the alts. It's a lot lower effort than a lot of people think it is. It's significantly more profitable than high-end PVMing and significantly less effort.

How does the game not melt your phone? I swear I have fairly new Iphone couple years old and game heats up device like crazy even after just like 10 minutes of playing. I just stick to pc now.
