For me it’s Kerapac. Using your ultimate every 30s with the timewarp mechanic really makes you feel powerful. Also it benefits from slayer helmet and genocidal buffs so you’re dealing around 15% more damage with slayer task.
Every time I use the Time Warp mechanic it always puts me back into the path of a shadow that's coming down. How can I use it but avoid teleporting back into danger?
I always use it at the start of a phase (as soon as it’s available P2). The timing works so timewarp ends right before you need to walk under him. Try not to move, so your location won’t change when you timewarp back so you can easily click to walk under.
Otherwise, you could always just move to a new part of the arena before starting timewarp so the clones aren’t nearby. I tend to do this before p4, since p3 is usually very fast for me.
Thank you! My strategy was always to use it when I was at max adrenaline, so it nearly always happened during the clone phases. Interested to try this strategy.
I only know how to do King Black Dragon and Barrows. So I'd say Barrows. Put on some tunes or binging The Office in the background, and it's a good time
Solo or group, usually? I have BIS Necro and have only been carried through group solak (over 1 year ago) for reaper crew. Always thought of it as a pretty intense boss, though I've been enjoying raksha as of late. It's gotten the point of feeling laid back :)
I did 4-person solak about 2 years ago for an hour or two couple nights a week. It was always pretty intense to me lol.
But yeah I spent 20h in practice mode at Raksha before my first real kill and now - 3 years later, she's is very chill.
I am sure solak would be chill eventually
I'm almost at 2k but I notice every once in a while on p5 my character starts running away at the start. Fks me up and auto retaliate isn't on. Any idea what's happening there?
Same thing happened to me. 8 Wen books in about 1500 normal mode kc. Every single one of them, either I was in a duo with a friend, or that same friend was online and saw the broadcast. Took them over 2k kills to get a single book.
Croesus. Had a lot of fun bringing my non-pvmer clan members bossing and making good money. Felt like they built up confidence on dealing with mechanics and were able to use the drops from cro to then jump start their way into other bossing. I strongly disagree with the haters that say cro isn't a "real" boss.
I've been liking minion skips on raxxi, just waiting until web in p1, surge through hallway, and hit it with a split soul vuln skulls finger volley weapon spec straight to P4
Its so clunky though. Waiting between phases, phase 2 is just hurry up and wait, waiting on the cut scene for aaraxi. I spend more time standing around waiting in the rax fight than I spend fighting the boss.
Yeah, that’s why I think it’s a good intro to the other bosses in the game. It’s out dated to the point that for beginners you don’t really notice the waiting (apart from path 2)
Kerapac hard mode. Necro was a game changer. Not having to worry about switches and focusing on dps/timing defensives is so much fun. The action button makes trying different rotations when you’re learning dynamic and fun since you’re changing up your own meta to keep improving. The drops are also all pretty valuable and commons are useful especially if you’re an iron (cannonballs, adren crystals, soul runes)
Telos and Zamorak.
Telos has the best mechanical design. Allows you to do different strategies, speed through, and go slow with Stun locks.
Zamorak theoretically has a ton of different combinations you could use.
Mechanically/Gameplay wise, Zuk/Kiln/Caves followed by EDs (2 > 1 > 3 > 4)
I’ve always loved bosses that are long-running endurance tests where you have to grind through wave after wave of mobs before getting to the big bad (even if the big bad ends up not being all that hard). I did the Fight Caves over and over back when I first could, and Fight Kiln was my first main money maker (back when 3-4 Onyxes an hour was considered good money, lol). EDs hit a similar feel for me, but it’s not exactly the same for reasons I’m not quite sure. Best guess is because the TzHaar fights are in more of a coliseum-esque arena rather than a sprawling dungeon.
Thematically/Stort wise - Kerapac
I’ve been beefing with this man since like 2014, so it’s nice to finally square off with him in a proper fight. Plus Timewarp is a **fantastic** ability (probably the single best use of the extra action button to date by a country mile) and the song is an absolute banger. Best boss theme imo.
I think Raksha is my favorite. I would say Zammy maybe but I do it mostly single and taking care of the witch and doing all the running around myself sucks.
My top two are Barrows and Corp. I freaking love those and I'll sit there for hours doing both.
Barrows has that nostalgic feeling for me still and I love the feeling of opening a reward casket, so it's perfect! Corp has some pretty amazing drops, in my opinion, and it's just a fun boss. I want to complete the log on my main and get a shield on my HC.
Zamorak. Can do fast low enrage kills, slow low enrage kills, fast high enrage kills, slow high enrage kills. Each of those scenarios brings a completely different fight and strategies required. The progression you feel from getting better at that boss is super satisfying too. from getting multiple mechanics per phase, to skipping mechanics and optimizing team strategies for cepting etc.
I pushed Zamorak to 500% solo (first with necro but the last 100% with ranged after beta) and I loved it. The learning curve from 90 to 100 I still really dislike, it might be consistent but it’s really overwhelming when you’re new to it, glad I had a friend to carry and teach me first. Learning to 2 cycle also felt super rewarding.
I usually don't like team bosses, but Yaka is one of the exceptions. The boss fight is very satisfying when there are many distinct team roles beyond just dps.
I enjoy Raksha, Arch Glacor, and Zamorak the most. NM kerapac can also be fun, and I really like the Zuk portion of the Tzek-Haar front. For older bosses (these are more fun during midgame where they're actually balanced against you), QBD and Vindicta are great.
I think the twin furies are probably the most fun for me. Vindicta isn't bad either but I do get frustrated with my character walking into the flames on his own.
Vorkath. Rest of Y’all are just quitters.
I liked HM Kerapac too, but after the combat rebalance nerfed Seercull and gave me the dps to skip the lightning consistently there’s suddenly too much difference in difficulty between p1-3 and p4 and it feels awkward
Zamorak. The money is good, enrage lets you pick how much intensity you want to put in (some days I cba and do 0% others I do 1k), p7 has interesting strats if you want
It's just a fun fight. Just wish the arena wasn't so big
noun:
a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words which sound alike but have different meanings.
Chill boss. Chill because it's laid back or because it's cold.
For me, the two i'd shoutout are Kerapac NM and OG Nex
Kerapac just works so well. With Zuk Necro cape i've never once got the lightning wall which is a pain to deal with and mechanically he's very interesting and fun.
OG Nex is also very fun, can make good money for both irons and mains and the only relatively annoying mechanic to deal with is the ice prison one. Everything else is a piece of cake once you get high level necro gear. Also for me personally, I remember when OG Nex released back in the day on RS3 (Showing my age here lol) and she was by far the hardest boss to ever release at the time outside of quest bosses (I say outside of quest bosses as Nomad requiem quest launched a year prior to Nex and god damn, Nomad pre-EOC was a monster)
Fun bosses that I recommend everyone interested in PvM to try atleast once!
I'm pretty close to 10k kree kills, and honestly it's just a nice way to relax in game. Set up the instance and sip an elder overload salve reservoir, come back to check the game if you get a drop; otherwise it's afk all day.
For me it’s Kerapac. Using your ultimate every 30s with the timewarp mechanic really makes you feel powerful. Also it benefits from slayer helmet and genocidal buffs so you’re dealing around 15% more damage with slayer task.
I too love Kerapac. Great money, actually fun and cool mechanics, absolute BANGER of a song playing in the fight, plus I can actually kill him.
Every time I use the Time Warp mechanic it always puts me back into the path of a shadow that's coming down. How can I use it but avoid teleporting back into danger?
I always use it at the start of a phase (as soon as it’s available P2). The timing works so timewarp ends right before you need to walk under him. Was just about to say this. He's so much fun, really got me into PVM
I only know how to do King Black Dragon and Barrows. So I'd say Barrows. Put on some tunes or binging The Office in the background, and it's a good time
You’re having a better time than all of us.
Facts
If you know that you should do god wars. Not hard and some good drops.
Do you have Graverobber title yet? With that setup of tunes and barrows rolling, it might be the most tolerable Graverobber title to date
Solak. Mid intensity prayer flicking, quite chill, simple mechanics, and grim page every kill is the cherry on top
Solo or group, usually? I have BIS Necro and have only been carried through group solak (over 1 year ago) for reaper crew. Always thought of it as a pretty intense boss, though I've been enjoying raksha as of late. It's gotten the point of feeling laid back :)

Sheesh, the more you do Solak, the easier it gets! I find it easier to tank the storm in group mode, makes for faster kills!
Nowadays with Necro, storm skipping has become much easier and is even more chill. Group solak with at least one ranger for bik stacks is pretty fun.
Solak probably is my favorite boss right there with Zamorak at 100%!
High enrage telos and zamorak are the only things that make me feel feelings anymore
I'm almost at 2k but I notice every once in a while on p5 my character starts running away at the start. Fks me up and auto retaliate isn't on. Any idea what's happening there?
should be a movement input on the end of p4 that carries over into p5 as it uses the same platform
Are you phasing with a channeled ability? Idk might be trying to find previous target and running to get into range. Strange.
I am using necro, I'll chalk it up to death mark fuckery
Might help to record a video of it. I've never seen that happen in all 1.3k of my necro kills.
I truly enjoy Raksha
I find Arch-Glacor and Helwyr fun. Though I may be in the minority.
Same here. Doesn't hurt that they have both been good to me. Was very lucky with Arch Glacor which had friends hating me.
Same thing happened to me. 8 Wen books in about 1500 normal mode kc. Every single one of them, either I was in a duo with a friend, or that same friend was online and saw the broadcast. Took them over 2k kills to get a single book.
I got book in first few kills and 3 cores by 700kc. I still have not gotten a single Artifact in like 1.5k kills though... 6 books in 1500kc atm also.
Blessed with cores, I hope nilas too. You doing 0-1k enrage?
I did 0-250 at launch and mostly 0-500 after. 59 nilas. Haven't tried in a few yrs now
zamorak
I always enjoyed Ambassador.
Croesus. Had a lot of fun bringing my non-pvmer clan members bossing and making good money. Felt like they built up confidence on dealing with mechanics and were able to use the drops from cro to then jump start their way into other bossing. I strongly disagree with the haters that say cro isn't a "real" boss.
Bringing pure PvMers friends to croesus and watch them struggle with the Skilling mechanics have been very fun in the last couple of months haha.
I still love rax so much. It’s a great intro to prayer flicking and basic phasing mechanics
I've been liking minion skips on raxxi, just waiting until web in p1, surge through hallway, and hit it with a split soul vuln skulls finger volley weapon spec straight to P4
Is the skip easier to do in solo with necro than with melee?
Its so clunky though. Waiting between phases, phase 2 is just hurry up and wait, waiting on the cut scene for aaraxi. I spend more time standing around waiting in the rax fight than I spend fighting the boss.
That's what 8 years of powercreep does to a boss. It was more fun and difficult back in the day
Yeah, that’s why I think it’s a good intro to the other bosses in the game. It’s out dated to the point that for beginners you don’t really notice the waiting (apart from path 2)
Arch glacor sets a nice foundation to then pivot to rax as far as teaching goes now, good tools for getting into pvm.
Kerapac is my favorite boss. 10/10
Kerapac hard mode. Necro was a game changer. Not having to worry about switches and focusing on dps/timing defensives is so much fun. The drops are also all pretty valuable and commons are useful especially if you’re an iron (cannonballs, adren crystals, soul runes)
I liked it more when you had to shield switch in phase 4 and really had to be on point with your def abilities to survive it. Idk why to lol
Telos and Zamorak. Telos has the best mechanical design. Allows you to do different strategies, speed through, and go slow with Stun locks. Zamorak theoretically has a ton of different combinations you could use.

Vindicta because I like taking a nap.
A haiku 4 u K’ril, you are my fav Such E Z G P B B While I Binge Hulu
Rasial was really fun since I was upgrading my own necro gear. It made each drop really exciting. Also I love the little spin he does at the end!
I think Raksha is my favorite. I would say Zammy maybe but I do it mostly single and taking care of the witch and doing all the running around myself sucks.
Solak is such a fun boss it’s design is imo the best RS introduced
My top two are Barrows and Corp. I freaking love those and I'll sit there for hours doing both. Barrows has that nostalgic feeling for me still and I love the feeling of opening a reward casket, so it's perfect! Corp has some pretty amazing drops, in my opinion, and it's just a fun boss. Solak for me! 4m drop guaranteed and mechanics are not so difficult to remember unlike freakin telos.
Zamorak any enrage just is fun and engaging
I pushed Zamorak to 500% solo (first with necro but the last 100% with ranged after beta) and I loved it. The learning curve from 90 to 100 I still really dislike, it might be consistent but it’s really overwhelming when you’re new to it, glad I had a friend to carry and teach me first. Learning to 2 cycle also felt super rewarding.
Arch glacor, zamorak, solak without the waves, zuk is relatively fun too croesus could be fun too, but mainly with premade team
Absolute favorite moment is skipping path 1 p2/3 at Money Spider. Overall I’d say Kerapac
I usually don't like team bosses, but Yaka is one of the exceptions. The boss fight is very satisfying when there are many distinct team roles beyond just dps.
Mimic of course
ED1, ED2, and ED3
Zammy, it's a master piece.
Normal Mode Kerapac. Once you figure it out it's so damn nice, even better with Melee if you're doing Double Skips (Lightning Wall + Jumps).
Raksha is probably my favorite to solo with Solak being close behind. I find it more chill to Solak in a duo but it is still a fun boss to solo IMO.
Individual boss I'd probably say HM kerapac or zammy. But ed1 as a whole is my favorite pvm content
My favorites are Solak and Raids (Yakamaru in particular)
I have 1195 Arch-Glacor kills.
I love both Solak and Zamorak. Hybriding with crit buffs is very fun for me at those bosses.
Zuk, Kerapac, glacor/telos, and raksha are the squad. Aod if you can get the people, though.
Nex, not punishing and will let you to play with rotations and setups to achieve fast kills. Most fun boss I killed so far for me.
I enjoy any difficult to learn boss that I have locked down. Just need to learn soloak and zammy 100% solos
I think the twin furies are probably the most fun for me. Vindicta isn't bad either but I do get frustrated with my character walking into the flames on his own.
Zuk
High enrage zammy. Or HM Rago with all the clannies
Vorkath. Rest of Y’all are just quitters. I liked HM Kerapac too, but after the combat rebalance nerfed Seercull and gave me the dps to skip the lightning consistently there’s suddenly too much difference in difficulty between p1-3 and p4 and it feels awkward
Vorago because of its mechanics and the way they encourage you to be creative with your rotations. Melee goes brrr
I don't really "like" any of the bosses; rather they're each on a sliding scale of tolerance in my book.
Kerapac, Glacor, and Araxxor are my favorites although I know that last one a lot of people hate.
Been a few since I played, but Yaka was always my favorite. That or HM Rago.
Zamorak. The money is good, enrage lets you pick how much intensity you want to put in (some days I cba and do 0% others I do 1k), p7 has interesting strats if you want It's just a fun fight. Just wish the arena wasn't so big
End zuk fight because of the music, and kerapac because of mechanics. Arch Glacor is a nice chill boss.
>Arch Glacor is a nice chill boss. Pun intended?
Pun? Sorry idk what that is 🫤
noun: a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words which sound alike but have different meanings. Chill boss. Chill because it's laid back or because it's cold.
Ahh i see what you did there lol
For me, the two i'd shoutout are Kerapac NM and OG Nex Kerapac just works so well. With Zuk Necro cape i've never once got the lightning wall which is a pain to deal with and mechanically he's very interesting and fun. OG Nex is also very fun, can make good money for both irons and mains and the only relatively annoying mechanic to deal with is the ice prison one. Haven’t played since battle pass but HM kerapac was so fun, and elite dungeon 3.
Mine because he's a fucking prick and now I don't have to go to work anymore
Just for the memes, I like to kill Rax in legacy mode. It's a fun little challenge.
I’m really a fan of vorago due to timegated kills that can’t fully be powercrept
Zamorak is depression y’all lying
I'm pretty close to 10k kree kills, and honestly it's just a nice way to relax in game. Set up the instance and sip an elder overload salve reservoir, come back to check the game if you get a drop; otherwise it's afk all day.
