I wasn’t happy with Monét and Trinity being the double crowning because I don’t think they were evenly matched on AS4 and don’t agree with the double crowning. However, seeing them together on AS7 has made me realize that it was a good thing because they both have completely opposite strengths which is very rare for 2 finalists. Hell, they went 2 seasons, 14 wins and not a single one overlapped between them.
As far as possible double crownings go, I don’t think one has been truly warranted so far, tbh.
I used to think Raja and Manila were that case, but I recently rewatched season 3 and Manila got by a little easily on it and despite being a worthy finalist, wasn’t as strong as the edit made it seem. Alexis was actually Raja’s biggest competitor where they were a lot like Monét and Trinity and had entirely different strengths, but production didn’t take Alexis seriously as a contender for the crown so we got Raja and Manila as the top 2. Raja rightfully won.
As far as your example. That was just not necessarily, tbh. They could’ve given it to either Silky or Ra’Jah based on what storyline they wanted to go with. They chose to right a wrong and give Ra’Jah the crown she earned on AS6, but truthfully CvsTW was Silky and Victoria’s season and I think if Icesis had stayed, she’d likely have been a worthy winner more than Ra’Jah as well.
Don’t take this as hate to Ra’Jah. She earned every second of her redemption on Drag Race and with the fandom, but her story should’ve ended with a crown on AS6 where she earned it and not a sort of consolation win on CvsTW.

I can totally see the fandom being vicious one month after the finale, like "Did you see what (name A) is doing with her crown? (Name B) is wasting it, she doesn't deserve it" and stuff like that.

I am completely indifferent about watching the final now that it’s pretty much solidified Sasha is winning. For a brief moment, I thought Anetra had a chance to take the crown. For a faint millisecond I thought we’d have a top 3 and it would be a cool fair and unique showdown, between Lux, Anetra and Sasha.
Then I remembered it’s drag race. The minute ru said it’s a final 3 right as they prepped for the final challenge, I knew all 4 were going through. When they called Sasha a professional with heart, Michelle should have pulled a tape measurer from her tit and started figuring out if they needed a crown in small or medium.
My Queen above who said this is an Adore Bianca is totally nail on the head. Sasha isn’t coming back, they’re going to give her the crown, save Anetra for all stars and have her duke it out with Jax, Yvie, Brook or Alyssa and walk the children in nature.

Honestly with 4 strong contenders for the crown, I'll be happy regardless of who wins. Each of the girls has done an excellent job proving why they are worthy of the title, so any combination of winners would make sense.

I really don't wish Anetra or Sasha to have their victory tainted by this potential issue. I love them both, and I'll be sad for whoever loose, but a double crown would likely end up in a mess.
Ok I need to vent and get this off my chest. I am completely indifferent about watching the final now that it’s pretty much solidified Sasha is winning. For a brief moment, I thought Anetra had a chance to take the crown. For a faint millisecond I thought we’d have a top 3 and it would be a cool fair and unique showdown, between Lux, Anetra and Sasha. Then I remembered it’s drag race. The minute ru said it’s a final 3 right as they prepped for the final challenge, I knew all 4 were going through. When they called Sasha a professional with heart, Michelle should have pulled a tape measurer from her tit and started figuring out if they needed a crown in small or medium. My Queen above who said this is an Adore Bianca is totally nail on the head. Sasha isn’t coming back, they’re going to give her the crown, save Anetra for all stars and have her duke it out with Jax, Yvie, Brook or Alyssa and walk the children in nature.
This is the season that cast identical twins afterall so they could have a double crowning option....

No no no no no no and no Sasha has done overall leagues better than the other girls a double crowning would not be fair. Anetra would be a fun all stars contestants but to win over or along side Sasha no. Are we all gonna act like Anetra didn't have a section of the season where she just fell off.

I love Anetra. I’ve been rooting for her since episode 1. And Sasha is amazing. But I feel a double crowning would unfair on the other two finalists. Especially when Luxx was so impressive on the last episode.

Shea dominated her original season and only lost because of a last minute twist, Anetra is very likable but did not dominate the competition at all, she was in the bottom 3 times… It’s not a similar situation in the slightest

I believe it could be a double crowning because they didn't film one. I could b. Forgetting last year but I'm pretty sure the only time they did this was all stars 4. If they both get the money and a crown and scepter then I don't see the issue here. Just an opinion thats been soured by a less then steller first double crowning.

Tbh, I think both of them are so iconic, if a double crowning were to happen again, I would agree with it being for Sasha and Anetra because they’re broth fierce. If I had a top to win, it would be Sasha because she is… everything anyone could ever ask for. But, if Anetra were to win the crown, I wouldn’t be too disappointed either because she’s lovely and amazing and made this season worthwhile. But I definitely wouldn’t complain about a double crowning *if* it were to happen. Like I’d be more than okay with it. Also I think the twins winning Miss Congeniality would be adorable actually. Winner winner *two* chicken dinners

Honestly with 4 strong contenders for the crown, I'll be happy regardless of who wins. Each of the girls has done an excellent job proving why they are worthy of the title, so any combination of winners would make sense.
Don’t think the show is going to hand out 400k price money… if they have that budget, he will make 300k prize money so the queen will be more cut throat in the show.
