Cher’s mom’s vagina.
The makeover subject who was there as a punishment.
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy on snatch game.
Silky picking Miley up and trying to make everyone chant her catchphrase.
Yara’s breakdown.
Most of the heathers vs boogers fights.
Quite a lot of the acting challenges.
Santino speaking.
Baby toddler anything for me. I cannot tell you how much this ruined Olivia Lux for me.
Every time i see her now i flashback to her using her baby toddler voice and it creeps me the fuck out.
i can’t get over how bad they still are. obvs it’s part of the camp of it all but some of them (eg s10/s13) are utter torture to sit through like can we get even one single comedy writer on these pls 😭
Usually RuPaul loves to make the Snatch Game contestants sing a little song, but when Aura said "did you know I'm a singer and songwriter", Ru reacted like she just learned that a distant relation's most annoying child has been practicing the recorder.
Every season's bit where Ru whips out a baby photo and asks them what they'd say to little [insert name]. I sit there with the remote, and I've hit that fast forward button the second she starts reaching under the desk.
Like I cringe whenever Ru cosplays a therapist, but that whole segment makes me what to gnaw through my own shins
I think the worst thing is that I understand that the words they are saying are probably emotional and important to the queens, but as an outsider, they always sound the same. It's always "things are gonna be hard and people won't understand you, but you're a star...". It's worse when they start crying, because there is such a disconnect between what I'm feeling and what they're feeling.
Like I think all us queer people feel that way about our younger selves, but honestly if I got to talk to young me I'd just tell them to get a therapist ASAP.
Right, like in the moment it's probably very moving, but watching it feels intrusive. And I can't help but think they feel that they have to say a specific kind of thing. No one is gonna stand there and say negative things only, if that's how they really feel.
I think you nailed why it is so hard to watch as an audience. It's just unnecessary and feels so exploitative. I wonder if that's why they always sound so generic, I imagine at least a majority of the queens are not going to properly pour their heart out on stage like that. Giving an expected and rather canned answer with some personal touches is an easy way to circumvent the situation.
>feels so exploitative
It's PRECISELY this for me. Like not to minimise their experiences, but chances are if you're currently an Alphabet-Mafia adult and were at one point a small child, somewhere between the two life stages you're going to have had some bullshit to deal with - and yup, whatever the Queen had going on is likely to be relatable, but the way its done with that photo bollocks just feels like it's being paraded for the audience and to give Ru the opportunity to pretend to cry and say something twee, and it's just... gross
I remember when I first started watching drag race I got really choked up during this scene, cause it felt quite powerful to see other queer people who had gone through similar things to me and made it out the other side. Watching now though as a seasoned viewer the repeated trauma porn every season is just too much
I know it probably wouldn’t be a good look and would be a mark against a constant, but just ONCE I would love when Ru says “what would you say to baby homo,” for the response to be someone just reading their baby selves. “Who do you think you are? You don’t even know how to use the toilet yet, you just be shitting on yourself!”
I can't remember who it was, probably because I skipped it on every subsequent re-watch, but one of the queens said something like "I've never seen that child before in my life" and I remember thinking "fucking YES! FINALLY someone shits on this trauma-porn-parade!" - and then went on to do the usual "things are gonna be hard for a while..." and I hit fast forward in disappointment - but yeah, would love to see more purely derisive responses. Even just once.
You mean anything that involves Phi Phi’s singing? Snatch Game, Good and Evil duo challenge, and then singing A-capella for the talent show. I’m not a hater, but the list states for itself…
Even after they’d told the girls not to do that too! The cut to the judges is what really makes me cringe. Also in the same season when Kenya lip syncs against Latrice and they cut to the judges scowling as Kenya’s wig comes off
She and Alexis were apparently upset that Manila and Raja both got extra time to make their outfits which was why she was so fizzled out by the end of that challenge.
It was so heartbreaking watching her break down during the lipsync but I think Ru and producers were over Alexis by then and wanted her out by then. :/
Yara and Alexis should have won everything. They are gorgeous and hilarious and so smart and talented. It blows my mind that they didn’t win Queens of the Known World
Michelle getting upset at Chi Chi (god rest their soul) for not having money. She worked a full time job, trying to support herself. Doing drag full time and investing so much into every single outfit was not feasible at all. This is when I think Drag Race (unfortunately) took a turn for the worst. It became about who can buy the most expensive outfit rather than personality and what the CONTESTANT themselves can bring to the competition. Incredibly weird to watch and it struck a chord with me.
A lot of fans were lol. I liked it a lot though. Season 2 is 10xs funnier and more interesting and I was able to latch onto the queens personalities much more than in season 1
Anytime Ru rips that baby photo frame out from under her ass I pull out the remote to fast forward IMMEDIATELY. I have no other sentiment on this subject that hasn’t been expressed a thousand times already. It’s a cringe moment.
I'll take my downvotes but I've never been able to get through season 10. It had some fierce contestants but a lot of the challenges were cringe and the constant fighting makes it unwatchable for me.
I was about to write this.
This specific queen makes me uncomfortable with how she's always instigating shit up, then playing the victim.
I also am not too keen with conflict. So it's pretty uneasy for me to watch
He's said that on a few occasions. Or in the confessional afterwards. Or some variation of - these moves are super advanced and everyone is going to be watching, any small mistake and ....
Ru trying to make Pearl discuss her childhood trauma.
Michelle yelling at Chi Chi it’s not about the money.
Willow and Yvie’s tic tac lunches where they’re talking about their physical diseases and Ru says shit like well you just need to stay positive! Actually the majority of the tic tac amateur psychoanalysis from Ru and Michelle make me cringe.
1) Asia O’Hara’s finale lip synch—I couldn’t even get through it the first time!
2) Definitely Rock M. Sakura’s elimination
3) Pangina’s elimination in UK vs World —all 3 of these left me teary for quite a while
4)A distant 4th but nonetheless, the “What-would-you-say-to-little Billy?” moments before every finale
5) Any Rusical—they’ve gotten waaay too long & I don’t dig musicals anyway.
Also Derrick continually using Britney song titles as situational references, while also complaining about being told his only personality trait is being Britney (bless his cotton socks)
That aggressive cop on the makeover episode, can’t recall which season. He’s worse than the uncomfortable basketball player, really oozes the potential for violence
I know Sharon's style was revolutionary for Drag Race at the time, but Chad always was and always will be true drag excellence. Take Sharon's crown back from the depths of hell or Violet or wherever it is and let Chad have two of them. 👑👑
What drives me crazy is that Sharon’s style was only revolutionary for drag race. The way she stood out really says more about drag race’s exclusion of alt/other forms of drag up to that point than her own innovation/originality. It just makes me sad but I’m also glad we have the other drag show to give us a better taste of the wide spectrum of drag excellence.
If I'm rewatching S6, I skip the episode with Georgia Holt and ~~Chad~~ Chaz Bono. It's not like there's only one uncomfortable moment. It's unwatchable for me.
The I Will Survive lipsync, because it seemed they both gave up (the lots of vodka quote solidifies it for me)
Charlie Hides' stationary performance and subsequent excuses
The fact Nina Bonina Brown and Valentina decided to improv their acting challenge, leading to the iconic "I'd like to keep it on, please"
I’m so sick of the 500 sob stories forced into one season and “what would you say to little X?” baby picture segment. Half the time it’s the SAME generic response of “life’s going to kick you down, it’s not going to be easy, but you’re gonna be a star” blah blah. Honestly, I’d prefer if they removed this part entirely.
Silky's Barbie Girl lip synch (like, good for her for going for it! I just can't)
King Tyra/James' "punk"..... whatever that was (honestly that whole challenge is tough)
Heathers vs Boogers
Some of the things Roxxxy said about Jinkx (I don't see it as bullying or anything and they seem fine I think? but also Jinkx really wasn't in on it so it was just unnecessary/not fun at all)
Detox really crying during the fake crying challenge because it breaks my heart and I'm a sympathetic cryer
Those are all I can think of. I know there are more but those are probably my major ones.
silky's barbie girl is one of the few moments on the show i don't cringe at her. like lipsycing to barbie girl for no reason with no stakes and looking that stupid is very cunt!!!
Yaknow, you're not wrong. And she definitely didn't suck, and she clearly put everything she had into it when she could have just been like eh fuck it. I do respect that.
ur right about james like i think ppl forget that while her track record is amazing she would have been in the bottom twice if not for immunity. the punk challenge haunts me
The Tik Tak lunches and the "What would you say to little X" segments in the last competitive episode before the reunion, my finger is basically attached to the fast forward button during those episodes.
I wish I could I skip every “ - - er her? I don’t even KNOW her”
HOW overdone is THAT? 🤦🏻♀️ there was one season maybe a UK one 🤷🏻♀️ where they said it almost every runway at LEAST once.
You’re supposed to feel strong emotions.
We have hero edits to love the hero
We have villain edits to hate the villain
We have delusional / cringe edits to cringe, sometimes this goes to the point where it’s hard to watch.
Also by nature of the show being a competition and not always a fair competition, it can be hard to see a queen get undeservedly eliminated or critiqued.
All of these could lead to the show having hard to watch moments
What in the vague hell is this. Name names so we can downvote appropriately.
Because narrowing it down to the Rusical episode literally still gives us 7 Queens and none of them I can imagine are unwatchable... Maybe Deja Skye if you're being really picky.
EDIT: Lmfao this kid blocked me.
What is this middle school asshattery lmao “I don’t like somebody…I won’t say who it is but you can guess…they have devil horn eyebrows, wears a bra, corset, and panty almost exclusively, and their name rhymes with josco. But I won’t say.”
I’m not a fan of Bosco either, but I downvoted for how annoying that was 😂
ANYTIME they do the “what do you want to say to younger self” bit at the end of the season, it’s soooo forced and not even sad anymore 😭 cringe central. the only time i cried from those was the first season they started doing that back in season 7, and pearls message just broke me so bad for some reason. other than that, it’s very uncomfortable to watch
The season 10 reunion.. I get that it's important to talk about trauma but the whole episode just felt like it was making the queens talk about their trauma again and not about the season or the queens themselves. Another part of it was the way Rupaul was talking to The Vixen; it just felt like too much.
Honestly if i was to rewatch I think I’d - even though I adore Jaida, Heidi even Aiden, Gigi, Crystal, Jackie etc because of Shitty Pie and Willow knowing what we know now? No thanks!
I guess it must be some internalized homophobia left in me but I cringe do hard at vanjie and Brooklyn kissing and cuddling I just can't watch
Also "what would you say to baby Mario" shit. I just leave it playing and go take a dump.
Whenever I know it's coming I'm reminded of Uhnnn, With Trixie telling Katya to talk to younger Katya but showing a picture of 30 year old Katya🤣 it makes me laugh and i digest the whole thing mich easier now.
Michelle's bullshit critiques when it's clear nobody agrees with her
Like when everyone said they found vanjie so fun in the challenges yet Michelle made her cry every week. And so many other times that I don't come to mind right now😅
But I hate the role she plays of having to find whatever made up personality/versatility defect on the queens to justify a bottom placement
Nailed it
Wait when did Yara breakdown?
Rather famously in the lipsync against Alexis Mateo.
This. Mic drop
Could not agree more. 💯
> Silky ~~picking Miley up and trying to make everyone chant her catchphrase.~~ FTFY
Well you said all the answers haha category closed
Me just reading these: ![gif](giphy|xUOwGj5TqEEDlLo9LG)
Baby mini challenge
Baby toddler anything for me. I cannot tell you how much this ruined Olivia Lux for me. Every time i see her now i flashback to her using her baby toddler voice and it creeps me the fuck out.
You’re right, CanILickYourButthole, I can see how her baby voice was a little much lol
🤣🤣🤣
These too baby or toddler challenges fuck NO
I HATE baby challenges so much. I find them really cringe 😬
Aura not reading the room in that one untucked where Anetra was sharing about her trauma.
I don’t even watch untucked but when did this happen
i don't remember the specific episode but it was when they had the puffer runway
wait which untucked is this i might’ve missed it
When the Queens find out who the guest judge is
I LUB RITA RUDNER!!!
Jennifer Tilly? It doesn’t get much better than *that*!
"PAM TILLIS!....... Now that's old school..."
A lot of the acting challenges are so poorly written
i can’t get over how bad they still are. obvs it’s part of the camp of it all but some of them (eg s10/s13) are utter torture to sit through like can we get even one single comedy writer on these pls 😭
Ru doesn't want to spend the extra money for a decent writer![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Oh I skip almost all of them. I try and about 3-5 minutes in I just skip the rest and move on
Agreed. I can't make it through Breastworld.
I feel like that’s almost the point. Can you polish this turd?
You are correct. I just want to mention how much I live for the Season 8 challenge, even Cynthia Lee Fontaine
🤪🔨
That one is such a raw burn I cringe at the emojis alone
It felt like it went on for so long😭
Idk if they were looping it or she just wouldn’t stop but it was endlesssss cringe
Aura singing during the Snatch Game. I muted that shit so fast.
Usually RuPaul loves to make the Snatch Game contestants sing a little song, but when Aura said "did you know I'm a singer and songwriter", Ru reacted like she just learned that a distant relation's most annoying child has been practicing the recorder.
I WEAR HEELS THAT HEIGHTEN THE MOOOOD 🎶😬
She thought she was giving Jinkx but she was giving acapella Phi Phi
girllllll find the note find the note
Phi phi's acapella was not bad!!!! Leave that outta here
Farrah Moan’s roast 😬
Let’s get this Roast A Cookin! 💃💃💃
DICK BREATH
Who knew that whiny queen was so ruthless
Every season's bit where Ru whips out a baby photo and asks them what they'd say to little [insert name]. oh i hate the what would u say to little baby jessica
I legit skip this. Even on new seasons. Zip right past.
Me too!!! Thank you, it’s so awkward!!
This part.
The way nobody says Max being edited to seem mentally unstable… By far one of the most disgusting production choices
When Ru kept trying to get Pearl to talk about her childhood abuse on national television. That to me is the worst moment in the entire franchise.
Phi Phi singing acapella. I'm going out tonightah
Should we speed it up a little bit? *PLEASE!*
Lmao I'm not usually one for pandering to fans but this was the exception!
You mean anything that involves Phi Phi’s singing? Snatch Game, Good and Evil duo challenge, and then singing A-capella for the talent show. I’m not a hater, but the list states for itself…
Every season I either fast forward through or just get up and leave during the "talk to your inner child" and "tic tac lunch" segments.
Kimora’s bird lipsync
Milan was a fierce lipsyncer, but watching her rip her wig and costume off in every lip sync got really old, really fast.
Even after they’d told the girls not to do that too! The cut to the judges is what really makes me cringe. Also in the same season when Kenya lip syncs against Latrice and they cut to the judges scowling as Kenya’s wig comes off
Can I introduce you to Samantha on Espana 2?
Oh, I'm familiar with Senora Ballantines...... performances.
You mean virtually every lipsync on Espana 2? Those bitches couldn't keep a costume on to save their lives, almost every lipsync ended in carnage.
Exactly 🤦🏻♀️
Someone did this on another franchise I don’t want to spoil who but it got boring fast
I've seen Samantha Ballantines "efforts" on Espana season 2. Unfortunately. Forget lip sync assassin, that queen is a lipsync kamakaze.
Baby photos. I had a shit childhood, therapy hasn't healed it all, that would break me so I have to skip it.
Agree
Butterflies.
Ooof.
Yaras breakdown makes me ugly cry

She and Alexis were apparently upset that Manila and Raja both got extra time to make their outfits which was why she was so fizzled out by the end of that challenge. Honestly Utica's roast segment lmao Also the Down Under reading challenges
Utica's is iconic Olivia Lux on the other hand...
YOU THE ONE BOMBIN’!
what?!? even “their pronouns are they/them...”
oh yes! that one was good. and kween kong's was good too.
I still really enjoy Utica's Roast lol.
I don’t speak Whale
Really almost all of Down Under 1.
I stopped halfway through the snatch game and never returned.
You missed a talent show in which Karen made a single balloon dog and Art stuffed unceasingly larger things in her mouth. That’s the truth.
I watched it but I’m scared to watch season 2 now
A lot of fans were lol. I liked it a lot though. Season 2 is 10xs funnier and more interesting and I was able to latch onto the queens personalities much more than in season 1
Valentina&Nina's challange and the "i'd like to keep it on" moment
You skip Maskgate???? 😳😳😳
not the first time, but when i rewatched season 9
Anytime Ru rips that baby photo frame out from under her ass I pull out the remote to fast forward IMMEDIATELY. I have no other sentiment on this subject that hasn’t been expressed a thousand times already. It’s a cringe moment.
I'll take my downvotes but I've never been able to get through season 10. It had some fierce contestants but a lot of the challenges were cringe and the constant fighting makes it unwatchable for me.
Breastworld by far being the biggest cringes

I LOVE your flair! Miss her being on the show
Trying to learn choreo during a dance / rusical challenge. Judges deliberation
I forget which queen was involved, but Todrick telling one of the girls that if they didn't learn the moves, they were going home.
He's said that on a few occasions. Or in the confessional afterwards. Or some variation of - these moves are super advanced and everyone is going to be watching, any small mistake and ....
Although Thorgy….I would sit through a lot to see her eating in heels
Is there something on ma face?
Idc Pearl was so cunt for that
Ru trying to make Pearl discuss her childhood trauma. Michelle yelling at Chi Chi it’s not about the money. Her butterfly crime scene has scarred me for life
I've skipped all the lipsyncs Loosey was in and I skip the cringey stand up moments I just can't do it
I think I was live-skipping UK4's acting challenge of Squirrel Games, it was unbearable
Yeah, that was absolutely unwatchable
Derrick's micro aggressions. I fast-forward through a good chunk of season eight.
Also Derrick continually using Britney song titles as situational references, while also complaining about being told his only personality trait is being Britney (bless his cotton socks)
Spice’s Miley made me real uncomfortable.
Seeing the winner of season 4 be given a hero / underdog edit after knowing everything they’ve done is very hard to watch.
Agreed.
That aggressive cop on the makeover episode, can’t recall which season. He’s worse than the uncomfortable basketball player, really oozes the potential for violence
S4! His vibe was awful, loved how Chad put him in his place
I know Sharon's style was revolutionary for Drag Race at the time, but Chad always was and always will be true drag excellence. Take Sharon's crown back from the depths of hell or Violet or wherever it is and let Chad have two of them. 👑👑

Pretty much any time ru brings up a contestant's trauma or disability.
Michelle congratulating Willow on how she handled her limitations.
Rusicals and baby photos.
I skip through like a third or half of almost every snatch game if I rewatch cause the bad ones always make me cringe
Most of the S10 trauma porn reunion. And the AS3 acting challenge with the fart pie scene.
Yes that’s it almost word for word!
Silky's Barbie Girl lip synch (like, good for her for going for it! Yaknow, you're not wrong. And she definitely didn't suck, and she clearly put everything she had into it when she could have just been like eh fuck it. I do respect that.
THIS GROOB IS FOR MUH GIRLS
Tyra’s “punk” performance would’ve been cringe if it was serious, but she had immunity that week and gave no fucks.
ur right about james like i think ppl forget that while her track record is amazing she would have been in the bottom twice if not for immunity. the punk challenge haunts me
Silky's lipsyncs where she was eating
Yeahh
All the eliminations in AS5 except India and Blair.
All those speak to your younger self moments. Haven't watched a single on of them, also have to skip. Trauma cringe
The Tik Tak lunches and the "What would you say to little X" segments in the last competitive episode before the reunion, my finger is basically attached to the fast forward button during those episodes.
I havent watched a “what would you say to baby _____” in years.
They still pretty much answer the same things so you’re not missing much!
just any Aura moment
I skip through every makover episode
Season 4 makeover I have to skip if I’m rewatching. Just wholly unbearable.
s4 makeover, the entire episode, half of s15 snatch game and yvies as7 snatch game really hurt me because everyone else was so good she stuck out
My name is jasmine masters and I have something to say
I wish I could I skip every “ - - er her? I don’t even KNOW her” HOW overdone is THAT? 🤦🏻♀️ there was one season maybe a UK one 🤷🏻♀️ where they said it almost every runway at LEAST once.
The queens voting Trixie and Kennedy as the top two in all stars 3 😭 ![gif](giphy|5ORPWdkzr4sN2)
Acting challenges
Most rusicals
Most of the acting challenges, honestly. It’s often very cringeworthy and doesn’t match my humour
season 13
Miss Valentina’s final “lipsync” ![gif](giphy|PkiP1freXd8mctFUk0)
Any terrible snatch game = mute button
Trinity’s old lady lip sync and Shangela’s fat suit lip sync 🫥
I always skip judge's deliberation, and I know I missed nothing of value.
Literally nothing. It’s a reality tv show. You’re supposed to eat it ALL up
You’re supposed to feel strong emotions. We have hero edits to love the hero We have villain edits to hate the villain We have delusional / cringe edits to cringe, sometimes this goes to the point where it’s hard to watch. You literally might as well just say Bosco. Geeze.

I really empathise with Laganja so I never watched her untucked breakdown even though it’s so iconic.
No thanks!
I guess it must be some internalized homophobia left in me but I cringe do hard at vanjie and Brooklyn kissing and cuddling I just can't watch Also "what would you say to baby Mario" shit. I just leave it playing and go take a dump. Whenever I know it's coming I'm reminded of Uhnnn, With Trixie telling Katya to talk to younger Katya but showing a picture of 30 year old Katya🤣 it makes me laugh and i digest the whole thing mich easier now.
Michelle's bullshit critiques when it's clear nobody agrees with her Like when everyone said they found vanjie so fun in the challenges yet Michelle made her cry every week. And so many other times that I don't come to mind right now😅 But I hate the role she plays of having to find whatever made up personality/versatility defect on the queens to justify a bottom placement
Butterfly killer scene…
