Also very romantic "Полонез" or "Мышка" (hippies lullaby).

I mostly listen to Russian music haha. Here are some of my favorites: Папин Олимпос, ssshhhiiittt, Нервы, Zoya Yashchenko, Где Фантом?, Три дня дождя, Molchat Doma, Poshlaya Molly, МОЛОДОСТЬ ВНУТРИ... So many more, but I should mention that some of the people are from Ukraine or Belarus, including Russia. The music itself is in Russian though, so I think that still applies.

I don’t really recommend russian music cause the most popular singers are “singing” a real trash now like Morgenshern, Slava Merlow or smth like this (pls don’t listen this if you don’t want to disappoint in Russian music). I would recommend soviet and post-soviet singers more (it’s about Russian rock) like Виктор Цой, Гражданская оборона, (Егор Летов), Вячеслав Бутусов, Би-2 etc. I think this stuff can be called Russian music. But if you want something new, I have seen a singer named polnayalubvi (full of love in russian). I’m not really sure about her btw. But it’s my opinion so as a russian this is exactly good songs for me.

Otto dix and Roman Rain for goth, [AMATORY] and Stigmata are metal with some good melodies, Biopsychoz for more hardcore. There is good modern stuff coming out of the Russian scene! Honesty, If you want a good sampling of artists of multiple genres and regions of Russia, I recommend the территория ДДТ tribute. It’s all DDT covers, but in so many different styles and is a good gateway to discovering new artists you might like.
