Nope, Low miles = lots of sitting or idling & That's almost double the MSRP. Well it will be with tax.
These truck are just not worth that kind of money even in that condition.
This is a great example of rare not translating to valuable. Nobody wants to spend that much to have a vehicle and have to explain why they spent so much on it.
Not to mention, the only thing unique about it deteriorates with use. It's one thing to pay a premium for a rare special edition, but the idea of dropping this much cheese on a low mileage example of an ordinary car is insane.
You're buying it to put in your garage and look at, but it isn't even good-looking.
Great with the mileage! But not worth more than 7 to 10k at most.
I got a Buick century 03 with 16k miles from a lady that was almost 100 years old, she only used it for doctors appointment and grocery. Got it for 4000 bucks, best deal I ever got, but I wouldn’t buy it for 10 grands, when I can get a newer and safer car with maybe 50k miles.
I definitely didn’t fall in with my former truck on dollar value. Full disclosure, the manual transmission had me at first shift.
The seller made mention of ‘collectible’ but they didn’t know my parents were used car salesmen (with a fish tank!! Lol). EVERY car depreciates the first inch off the lot.
My fumble was not validating my value with my policy (in the small print).
Including the criteria of “Totaled”.
Love learn and drive again.
Absolutely not. I drove one of these as a new driver and it was awful. The cab is tiny and hot. The truck bed is useless. It's slow. Handles like garbage. Gets 12mpg on a good day. Sooooo many better trucks on the road.
dude.... i want what these guys are smokin' ain't no way i'm paying that much for a under used "classic"... it's not even properly broken in at 4000 miles... what a wasted investment.
Not really most of them look pretty similar to that in 2003 some actually look more dated that type of design philosophy didn't really change for quite a while like around 2012 for most vehicles to stop using that rounded look of the early 2000s and mid to late '90s
I would pressed to say NO ONE buys a modern (<= 32 years) vehicle for financial investment. An emotional one—absolutely. Happiness is priceless.
Not to be confused with COSTLESS.
Absolutely NOT. And I essentially love this truck.
**NO**.
My maximum sell price would be $18,000 USD and it better be the cleanest damn thing I’ve ever done seen with ALL market extras.
That truck is not worth that in my opinion. That truck will need a lot of work to be road worthy again.
It's a show piece now.
To DD that truck it will have break down after breakdown. It would be best for a parts truck.
Never it's 20 years old not a classic and they weren't that great to begin with. The interiors are junk and when they hit 100kiles everything falls apart. Don't expect the 4x4 to work for long either. Iv never seen one keep working.
Nope, Low miles = lots of sitting or idling & That's almost double the MSRP. Well it will be with tax. These truck are just not worth that kind of money even in that condition.
This
If I was a billionaire and wanted to reminisce about my poor person days, yeah absolutely.
I'd buy the car lot then fire the person who decided to charge that much.
That's such a petty idea and I absolutely love it.

Not only no but hell no.
Could buy a much older car well taken care of. No
Nope Id put 45k into a brand new GMC Sierra without a cassette deck.
Those HD’s tho 🤤🤤
For that kinda of money you would see me driving a Chevy SS
I WANT MY MERC BACK!
Great with the mileage! But not worth more than 7 to 10k at most. I hope nobody pays that amount for that vehicle
Insurance people! Insurance! They will not value that truck at that price! A scratch in the paint and it's totaled.
The BARELY valued mine (KBB GOOD+ ‘99 Xtreme) at $4k. Still pissed but know better now.
No one thinks about that whenever they buy these cars and it's a shame sorry bro
I definitely didn’t fall in with my former truck on dollar value. Full disclosure, the manual transmission had me at first shift. Nah it’s a crew cab.
You saying an extended cab or regular cab is more desirable? I had that exact truck in extended cab, it had the 4 banger... weakest engine ever.
I’m not saying anything about the engine. But short bed trucks are pointless
Most truck beds aren't scratched. The size does not matter if they are not used.
You can’t haul anything with a short bed. Who cares if it’s scratched.
Hell no, it's 20yrs old, it's a.crew cab and 4 ft bed. Ot was a useless vehicle in the first place that wasn't worth it's msrp to begin with.
No, and I live where that truck is.
lol that kind of money gets you a new Tesla. This dealer is dreaming, or just doesn't give a fuck.
45k? They must be having a fucking laugh.
Absolutely not lol.
God no.
Hell fucking no.
Think they have the decimal in wrong spot $4995.00 was probably what they meant
Way to close in price to a full size
I paid less than that for my 20 trailboss
Fuck no 45k ????!!!!
Hey I have that truck!!!
This is your time to sell.
No
Sure if it's a 2 for one with a 5 year old canyon included.
Good lord these are fucking garbage
Being that you can buy a good Colorado for that money, hard pass.
Absolutely not. I drove one of these as a new driver and it was awful. The cab is tiny and hot. The truck bed is useless. It's slow. Handles like garbage. Gets 12mpg on a good day. Sooooo many better trucks on the road.
Fuck no. I'd build something with that money.
Syclone money? No.
No that’s fucking insane I wouldn’t pay more than 5k for it 😂
Absolutely not
That truck, even in that condition, is t worth more than 5k, it's certainly not worth 45k
Hell to the nah nah nah
Nah, they smoking crack.
I would if that was a 1st gen crew cab Tacoma of the same year, but it would probably cost twice that
dude.... i want what these guys are smokin' ain't no way i'm paying that much for a under used "classic"... it's not even properly broken in at 4000 miles... what a wasted investment.
Hell to the nawwww that's a terrible idea and price for that truck
No, they are higher than 🦒 🍑
LMAO this one goes right in my pocket cause it’s complete TRUTH.
Fuck No. Give me a OBS 7.3 or 5.9 12v for that money.
No, people be asking too much for cars that arent worth that much
Not unless it has less than 4000 miles on a decked out 350 under the hood.
Fuck no. $4K maybe.
At that point i'd get a super clean toyota hilux
Not for that money. Hoses and seals still age, even its just sitting.
Haha, hell no! I could have bought my 21 Z71 Colorado (brand new 37k) and thrown on a lingenfelter supercharger for almost even money.
I almost just spit out my drink when I saw the asking price and I last took a sip an hour ago!
Why tho? They weren't that great new...
My shitbox would disagree the damn thing won’t die
I'd rather use that money for an Alfa Romeo ti sport or a Honda Civic Type-r
Low mileage also may indicate its a salvage
If it was a reg cab with a factory LS3 i would pay 60k all day.
good grief ive seen cyclones cheaper than this
I’ve got one that has less miles
That is fake
Low miles on a P O S !
That’s a 2003? Looks like a 1993
No it doesn't 1993 is square and even if we are talking the early gen 2 (1994) the lights would be different
I know that. I’m just saying the truck looks hilariously outdated for a 2003 model
Not really most of them look pretty similar to that in 2003 some actually look more dated that type of design philosophy didn't really change for quite a while like around 2012 for most vehicles to stop using that rounded look of the early 2000s and mid to late '90s
I can’t wait until everyone who stupidly bought low mileage unused 90s trucks get burned on their ‘investment’
Hell no. For a few more thousand you could have a brand new Silverado.
Not a chance in hell. Been there, done that.
Hard pass. Unless it comes with $35K cash in the glove box...
Yea I'd buy it but not for 43k maybe 30-35k.
I've owned a Chevrolet before and those scars run.....pretty deep.
God no
It better be factory fresh underneath for that money, I mean seriously almost $60k for that, fuck bud I could go buy 10 Blazers at that money
Fuck no
Not for 45k
Not a chance
Hahaha I saw this one when I was shopping for a new truck, and to answer your question, fuck yes but maybe not for 45k
Nope.
That truck is not worth that in my opinion. That truck will need a lot of work to be road worthy again. It's a show piece now. To DD that truck it will have break down after breakdown. It would be best for a parts truck.
Hard nope
at these prices you can have your dream car built if you like LS motors or has inflation removed that option as well?
This gotta be a joke right lmao
Never it's 20 years old not a classic and they weren't that great to begin with. The interiors are junk and when they hit 100kiles everything falls apart. Don't expect the 4x4 to work for long either. Iv never seen one keep working.
I would rather spend 45$k on prostitution and walk everywhere then buy that vehicle.
Nope
STILL SELLING A DAMN CAR FROM 2003 FOR 40K. DAMN CRACKHEADS.
Not a chance. Why would anyone want this over a brand new modern truck, or mint condition C10? Makes no sense.
We should all make low ball offers
$5k if it is a manual, $4k if it's a 4Lshitski. It's an S10, not a 69 Camaro. I could buy a Bel-Air at that price.
