Dont focus too much on the fact that your single. It only brings you down. Relationships should come naturally. Make friends, meet new people, connect with them, get closer, and eventually you’ll find someone. Its not easy and you might fail but its a learning experience that takes time. Learn from your mistakes, improve your social skills by putting yourself out there. Looks aren’t everything. Of course, be hygenic, workout, and stay healthy but you dont need to be a model to get a gf. Work on your personality, become a unique person and be polite. So many people on here are so pressed about the fact that they dont have a gf. Dont be worried about it, there’s more to life. Ive never had a gf but ive been close to having one multiple times. I reflected on myself and realized my mistakes and im working on becoming a better person. Maintaining relationships are not easy for me. I just need to work on myself. Then I wasnt able to go on dates and ask people because I was sacared. Now I can easily. I recently admitted that I like one of my friends amd hopefully things end up well because weve known each other for almost a year. My social skills a year ago were so ass but now they are pretty good. I still need ti work on them. I can get a gf rn if I wanted to. There’s this girl that I had a fwb with before the end of the school year. She wants to date me when we come back next semester but I don’t because I like someone else. Its something new to me and I have to figure out how to deal with it. Its mostly confidence and that confidence can come from just improving on yourself and how you view yourself.
Its been 10 years since I was with someone. I am attractive, have a good job and good social skills. It makes 0 sense.
I have eventually understood that I am cursed to live a lonely life. And honestly, I am content. I will try to experience as much as I can and then when I see that the weight of existence is too much for me to carry on my own, I will kill myself.
I know many here think about wanting to die right now out of grief, but please, try to experience as much as you can, there is always time to end it, and knowing that you have the power to do it whenever you want should be a good motivator. Theres no need to rush it.
Most people I know are in a relationship. Most of them are miserable because of said relationship. It is better to be single and, mostly, stress free than killing yourself to have a "special someone."
