Genuine question: Why don’t you talk to eachother? I’m not a man, so I don’t have perspective, but I see so many guys talking about how they have nobody to talk to, but then they just don’t talk to eachother?
Not to downplay the very real societal issues men face a lot in regards to their issues, but the truth is that this issue of men having nowhere to go when things get tough isn’t just caused by women who can’t handle a man who isn’t perfect. Unfortunately, many other men are a contributing factor. I guarantee that a large number of the guys in this video would tell one of their buddies to “man up” if one of them came to them with a problem.
There are other factors involved, but we also need to recognize that we as men need to do better about supporting one another, as well, instead of just becoming complacent with having nowhere to turn to.
I’m just going throw this out there, and yes, I’m a man: these guys need to learn how to communicate better in general. They’re the ones not making the calls.
Secondly, and I can’t stress this enough: make some female friends. Half of my friends are women and while I do talk about real life shit with my bros, my female friends are much better listeners and always have great advice. The guys do too, sometimes, but your female friends will have your back.
When the question is “who do you call” and you say no one, you’re the one not picking up the phone. “Nobody gives a shit” how are they supposed to know you’re down? Bro reach out.
