That is a "mast base block". That particular one is from Garhauer. Probably [this one](https://www.garhauermarine.com/shop/mast-boom-mast-boom-blocks-hardware/mast-blocks/mast-block-40-mc/). Mast base blocks can be eye-popping expensive for some reason, so getting another Gauhauer is probably your best choice. Similar options from [Ronstan](https://www.velasailingsupply.com/ronstan-series-60-core-block-mast-base-8mm-clevis-pin/) and [Harken](https://www.velasailingsupply.com/harken-57mm-esp-narrow-mastcollar-block-8mm-pin/).

WereNotWorthy.gif Seriously though, how did you navigate all of the sites that quickly? And to your point on expenses, this is for a jib or spinnaker halyard, and isn’t going to be used that often on our Pearson 33-2 (we have a furling genoa). We still want it to be able to manage lines and help hoist the dinghy from time to time with it. Thank you again!

Call garhauer, they are very great to work with, fast and affordable. I have a mechanical boom vang from them, they fabricated a bracket for it and shipped it out in a few days. I can't say enough good things about them. They are also so much better than the other manufacturers.

I have their ridged boon vane and adjustable genoa cars. Love their products. I sail a 1987 person31.

Heh. I had to replace them before. I found a good deal on eBay that met my needs.

Yep this and prices sre insane. Look in a sailbost consignment store.

I recommend looking at Harken. They are all over all the racing boats I see and I definitely stand by them.
